Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have a wired system connected to a tuner and CD player and turntable. I want to slowly migrate to Sonos to add wireless speakers.  It looks like I can take the L&R speaker output cables from the tuner and connect them to the port to get the signal on the air. Is that correct?

TrueCinema is missing in the app. I've succesfully updated the Beam(gen2) and the Ace but I still missing the TrueCinema  item on TV Swap menu.

I am so angry that you are forcing your customers to update the app on app load… WTF man!!!! (Even when I have selected the no automatic updates on the app) I am perfectly happy with how it is running before and I don’t trust your updates. I DO WANT ANY MORE OF YOUR F@@KEN UPDATES!!! Leave me be! With you latest update (which sounds exactly the same) I now have my sound cutting out after I pause my tv… after 3 mins of re-setting the volume it comes back. It happened after the last update you did - hence why I selected no automatic updates on the app. So now I have to go back and re-set every 14 of my speakers so it reads the app again. Just wow!!

Hello everyone.I have a setup consisting of the following: Sonos Arc UltraSonos Sub Mini2x Sonos Era 100LG OLED C4DUNE HD Pro 8K PlusXbox Series XPS5 Pro All system components are updated to the latest software version.About a month ago, I noticed a strange sound. It’s very similar to a signal interference noise that lasts for about a second or less on the Arc Ultra. It can occur once every 30 minutes, sometimes once an hour. There's no pattern to when it happens. It’s like a static beep lasting a second or less. It’s not heard on any of the other system components. All devices have been stationary — nothing was moved or touched. There’s no visible damage to any of the devices.When watching movies or series, if I hear this sound and rewind to the same moment, the sound isn’t there anymore. I can’t play different music on different speakers.  Have two I-pads and whatever selection I make on one I-Pad effects the app running on the second I-Pad.  Went round and round with suppport chat and got no answers.  On either I-pad I can’t control other speakers independent of the first selection running.  On the desktop app can control speakers independent of that is happening on app.What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I searched but couldn't get exact clarification on this specifically.  I have two DVC Episode 8ohm Rock speakers at a new home were moving to.  I have 1 AMP and know that the minimum impedance it can handle is 4ohm.  To maximize the DVC speakers safely with the AMP, what would be the best wiring scenario. Two wires are red/black and two are green/white connected to each speaker. Thanks!

I’ve upgraded my tv and so have changed Sonos soundbar to HDMI e-arc with ir signal to use Samsung tv remote.issue is that I have a Sonos play as single rear speaker grouped to use sometimes for movies etc. with optical setup the sync was perfect. With hdmi setup I have the 75ms delay that sounds terrible with soundbar 10 foot in front and single Sonos play 3 feet behind me.help please 

I have an existing home theater system ( Sonos arc sound bar along with my Sonos 5 as surround sound. I want to increase the punch on my sound. Can I integrate the Sonos amp to my system and so how will I connect it correctly??

I have a samsung s90d oled with nintendo switch 2 and ps5 pro connected to sonos beam gen 2, 2 play ones, and gen 3 sub. When I connect my ps5 with surround sound and enable linear pcm on ps5, I only get linear stereo on my sonos app. When I select atmos I get full surround and atmos on app. Whether in game or in settings menu.On my nintendo switch 2 I get linear pcm 5.1 on the app while playing in game. In audio settings menu and audio output test the switch doesn't detect it 5.1. It says i have stereo, but when i play test tones it plays sound through all 5.1 channels but app and switch show stereo pcm during this. I have earc on, auto mode and pass through selected on my TV, as well as hdmi-cec on. I do use nice quality hdmi cables.  I've power cycled and unplugged replugged it all. I have read sonos may not get along well with some samsung tv, is that my issue? Thank you for any help

All of a sudden I've noticed that I can't add playlists to the queue in the Android app.The app can see the tracks, but if I click on the play or shuffle icon it just spins away doing nothing.If I try to add or replace the queue with the tracks from the playlist i get an error message.If I click on the three dots next to.the track and select play, the track plays.One or two playlists with very a very small number of tracks seem to work as expected, but any substantial list won't work.Is this a known issue that's been broken in a recent app update. I have searched but can't see anything about playlists that recently. Thanks

Hello, I have a play 5 gen 1 and had interruptions during music through Spotify. When I switched to Tidal the problem was solved. 

cannot connect Sonos playbar wirelessly with new sky hub router. it connects with Ethernet but then cannot establish Wi-Fi connection. I have factory reset the playbar, and Apple Music plays through playbar via Sonos 2 app. I have reset router and altered security protocol and even tried it via sky WiFi extension hub upstairs but cannot achieve a WiFi connection. Any other suggestions please 

Iv just purchased a new tv (Hisense 75u8qua) and Sonos beam.  Had the beam connected to old tv last night and all worked fine.  New tv arrived and have set up, missing sound from some tv shows.  Trying to watch lioness and can only hear the background noise and no dialogue.plugged in using Arc hdmi, used the supplied HDMI cord etc.  cannot get it to work.  

I am planning my kitchen and dining room.  I am installing 2 sets of in-cieling sonos speakers in my kitchen and the adjacent dining room I wanted to put in-wall speaker/s.  My question is do I need to put a pair of in wall speakers (3rd in parallel series) or can I just put one in in-wall speaker?  the room only requires one speaker based on size, but not sure that I could do 3 on the right and 2 on the left and everything would function well.Thanks

Sonos Sub gen 3 not updating and hence unable to add to home theater system - arc and surrounds era 100, what seems to be the problem?  

After a year of troubleshooting with Sonos support things still don’t work.  I even sent an email to the new CEO and to Investor Relations and they got me in touch with a high end rep and problems are now recurring again.  They said I needed to plug one of my wireless speakers into direct Ethernet to establish a proper SonosNet network (which kind of defeats the purpose of wireless speakers and wireless worked fine before last May’s app disaster).  Have rebooted router and factory reset speakers and everything else and it’s still problematic.  Recent issue is that speakers are normal volume when searching and playing from Spotify via the Sonos app but if I AirPlay from Spotify directly to the speakers the volume is massively reduced.  Nothing changed on my end and have checked volume settings on both apps.  And then the Ethernet connected Sonos One and Sub Mini are always picking up audio like 30 seconds after starting music again too.It’s all a mess and I doubt I’ll be able

Wife and I "gifted"  ourselves two new Sonos Roams in Dec '23, one orange, one green. Of course how little did anyone expect the Black Spring (year, and continuation for some) that Sonos would force upon us.Yesterday, her roam decided to up and experience the knocking noise all of a sudden while playing.FIX (PERMANENT?): It took about, if not over, 30 seconds of holding the power button to turn it off. Turning it back on, all seemed back to normal.  Time will tell.We were hoping that the Roams were going to be able to eventually link, wired or wireless, to build a stereo pairing for use at camp sites, picnics, and back yard hangs while relaxing with a beverage or gardening. But someone decided to torpedo the app, and the rest is history. We clearly knew the quality of device we were buying into for portability which could even be an extension of our other Sonos speakers. I have a large Sonos system (19 devices).  I have purchased another 10+ devices in the past but upgraded them.  So needless to say I know my Sonos.I have had a problem with a Ghost TV  as the main imput into two of my rooms that only have amp(s).  A while go I factory reset all of my devices and everythign was working great.   Then one day I choose to expand the TV to these other rooms.   I have not been able to remove the Ghost TV since then.  L2 has even replaced one of my amps.    The good thing is that after 9 months I think I know the fix.  I have to factory reset all of my devices (2+ hours) to get rid of the Ghost TV, and never expand the TV into those rooms again.    The problem with the Ghost TV is that those rooms become surrond sound speakers only.    NO - I will not talk to support desk any more.   Hours upon hours to get to support desk to go now where  - you guys are painful.   Enough with varify my phone n

Recently after updates on both SONOS and WebOS I started experiencing problems with playing content  over eARC.what happens is that DolbyAtmos or 5.1 shows do not use all speakers on ARC and content especially  dialogues are muffled.i need to change to PCM to have a decent sound quality but then no Atmos or 5.1.My setup: ARC, 2xEra 300 and Sub gen 3TV LG C1 WebOS 6.5.1-35Settings:HMDI Bitstream, eARC ON, Pass Through, SIMPLINK ONTroubleshooting: reset to factory settings both TV and Sonos system, unplugged from power both, contacted Sonos and shared logs few times, nothing.only solution which works for now is to unplug eARC, plug in to Optical disable eARC and SIMPLINK, play the content for a while and then re-plug eARC mainly for Dolby Atmos content.usually works for few days and then same problem occurs. no idea whether it’s an issue with TV or Sonos.any ideas or help? many thanks 

Hi, I just got a brand new pair of Sonos Ace headphones. Connected them via Bluetooth to my OnePlus 10 Pro, running OxygenOS 15. Then downloaded the Sonos app and tried adding the headphones to it. The app finds the headphones, tries to set them up, then when the screen displays "preparing the Sonos Ace" it interrupts and says it couldn't add the ace and to check the Bluetooth connection. I've tried resetting the app, resetting the Bluetooth connection. Nothing is helping. 

Hi Team,Already have read almost every forum post and tried every trick from completely reinstalling all my Sonos devices till completely redesigning my wireless.Iam using a arc with a sub and just replaced my Sonos Play 1 surrounds with 2 ERA 300 devices.The problem is they keep losing there connection in the surround enviroment and i don't get it why. There is not a real error but sometimes after 30 minutes and sometimes within 3 minutes the ERA300 speakers disappear in the app and I cannot get them back.I tried reseting them, unplug and plug the cable again.Also set my wifi to only use 2.4ghz, 5ghz, disabled things like client loadbalacing, band steering, added fixed IP addresses etc etc.. but iam pretty lost now.Iam at the point of returning them because my play 1 were always working fine but for some reason its not possible to get a steady connection with the ERA300’s...(EDIT) added my play 1’s again..but

AirPlay to my Era100 from my iPhone music library was working yesterday. It is not today, but it works from the radio channels from the Sonos App. Chatted with the help centre. Made me switch to Bluetooth. Ok, it works but the sound quality is clearly worse, which is what I was impressed with, great sound via Airplay.Anyone experienced this?I will submit a new request to Sonos.

I have an amp and Ace headphones. The amp is connected to my Samsung laser projector through hdmi arc and my headphones through Bluetooth. Whenever I select the audio output to Bluetooth it selects it for a second and the the amp recapture the audio selection

Can I use Spotify connect with Play:3 and Play:5 generation 1 ?The reason I want to use Spotify connect, rather than just the Sonos app, is the iPhone will be in Spotify offline mode (and hence playing playlists previously downloaded), purely to save data.It’s being used in a garage with no PC, or broadband, but there is a 4G router (with limited monthly data). I tend to listen to the same playlists, so it’d be daft to use data for no reason.I tried it today, and none of the speakers showed up in Spotify connect, though the same iPhone works fine on my home Sonos set-up which is multiple Move:1 Gen 1, and an Amp Gen 1. Sonos app working fine in the garage set-up, with Spotify account, but data use too high as mentioned.It’s a new iPhone set-up (recently reset), with a fresh install of Sonos S1 and Spotify.cheers
