SONOS does not offer repair services anywhere on the planet. I’m in the USA, but I understand that there are 3rd party repair services available in the UK and EU.
ZP120 can be replaced with a SONOS AMP.
Ebay and the like have a good selection of older Sonos devices for sale.
Confirm the status (working, broken, untested) and the date of manufacture.
Devices that have a 30% upgrade option available may sell for more than a similar one that doesn't, it is worth asking if it is not mentioned.

Thanks for your replies and help, I put in online search “ 3rd party repair services available in the UK” and there’s a one only 20 miles from me so good result thank you.
Update
I emailed the company (https://sonosrepair.co.uk/)

Hi could I bring you my ZP120 to have a look at please?
I have two, One has started buzzing and crackling through the speakers.
I’ve swapped it with my other one and there is no fault evident and the faulty one connected to the good ones speakers has the buzzing fault so looks like it’s the amp itself that is faulty.
Got the following reply.
Good afternoon Jeff,
Thanks for getting in touch.
We repair many Sonos ZP120 device’s with similar faults
We will happily assess and if possible repair yours- we do operate a no fix no fee service
There’s a link on our site to organise return shipping labels if you would like to go ahead with the repair
Best regards
Natalie
But in the meantime I decided to travel to the address on the website and see if I could just hand it to them to have a look at.
On arriving I found an unoccupied house with a boarded up double garage, outside of which there two were piles of broken electronic components some of which were clearly Sonos.
I emailed them again informing them I had visited and described what I found and I have heard nothing back from them.
I found a telephone number but there was no answer on that either.
There is a option on the website to book in your repair but you have to pay £19.99 up front
Payment covers shipping both ways and covers our initial repair assessment.
You can drop your parcel at the post office or have it collected.
We will Email your labels to you (usually within 2 to 3 days).
From what I’ve experienced up to now I won’t be paying them anything and I would warn anyone who lives too far away to visit to be very wary before paying out money up front to this website.

Thanks k1elec I’ve checked out the comparison and looks like the zp120 uses a different protocol so I’ll go for another 120 from Cex but thank you for your offer
