Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

My app is FINALLY working correctly & now it's forcing me to update. I can no longer avoid it. It goes straight to ‘Sonos system needs a software update’ I used to be able to close it & reopen & I could still use the app as I normally did.  Every time I update it gets worse & it’s been fine now for 2 mos. Anyone know any tricks to avoid the update & still have a useable app? HELP!!!

Has been for 3 days, won't load. Mobile app ok, sonos 2 PC app ok. although I have to reset it almost daily for some reason. 

My Era 100 has for the last few weeks randomly decided to just play an alarm tone rather than the playlist it’s configured to play? Maybe one day out of last 7 it plays the playlist. I’ve tried turning the setting on and off but still no joy. It’s up to date software wise. Any suggestions? So disappointed how flaky Sonos has become vs my original experience with them years ago

Arc / mini sub / L&R Era100’sOnly the RH ERA100 signal was breaking up and stopping every 20 seconds or so for 1 or 2 seconds at a time off/on/off etc.WIFI signal? Nope. switched channels. Switched access points. Strong signal.Too close to a wifi enabled coffee machine? Moved - Nope.Answer? Mixed wired / wifi across systemArc was ethernet, sub was ethernet.Switched all to WIFI - FIXED.🤷‍♂️ 

My Windows 11 and Android device both show the same issue; “Can’t Browse Music”.  Everything else works fine.  My wife has an Iphone and she has no issues using the system.  Once she selects music my devices can then control the Sonos app as far as playing or adjusting the volume; just can’t pick any music from the Amazon Unlimited library. I have un-installed the Sonos app and re-installed it several times. I have removed the Amazon Music service from Sonos and added it back… several times.  I have reset the Sonos App and then removed and added back the Amazon Service.   Not sure what else to do at this point.

I originally set up my system (several Play 1, a Connect, One, and two Bookshelf) in a wireless setup with the Ethernet cable into the One. It has all been working well, but now, moving to no Ethernet access, I need to switch the system to wireless. It seems this is not possible without a factory reset of all speakers to enable wireless connection. This will obviously remove all my settings, including services and playlists, which would suck.I tried just resetting the One and giving it wireless access, but once I did this it was of course no longer part of my system. Plugging another speaker into Ethernet I can add the One back, but now I am where I started. There seems to be no way to just connect the whole thing to my WiFi without factory resetting the speakers.

Hello to All!I bought a sonos roam 2 on this week and have a lot of pleasure with its sound. But my main aim is common sound device for all purposes. Using sonos as speakers for iPhone was really cool. It’ll be very convenient to use sonos just as PC speakers. And via WiFi. How I can do it?

I just subscribed to Amazon Music Unlimited.  In the Windows Sonos app I already had the Amazon Music service configured.  When I access Amazon Music, I only see music that I purchased from Amazon, none of the 50 million songs in the Unlimited version.I tried resubscribing to the account and still can’t see all of the music offered by Amazon Music Unlimited.Is it even possible to see all of the Unlimited content in Sonos?

I set up four Move2’s at my condo’s pool and want to be able to set a specific time (e.g. 9pm) for the speakers to turn off.  I know I can set the timer up to 2 hours, but I want the ability to auto shut off at 9pm.  I cannot find this functionality on the app, seems like a simple tweak fo the app.

I bought a Sonos Ray and would like to install it with the Sonos Android app.This is impossible and I can't connect to my account via the app and therefore install my Sonos Ray.I've tried using Chrome as my browser, but it doesn't work.I've reset the application several times, but it doesn't work.In short, I've got a sound bar I can't use.Am I alone ?What the solution ?

I have just been testing the edit playlist feature on android v 80.21.3 os v 85.0.64200.I started with a playlist playing in the queue and then as I was listening to each track I had the edit playlist function open and started deleting tracks from the playlist that I no longer wanted (NOT from the queue itself).After about 10 minutes of editing I was astonished as some of the entries I had deleted reappeared in the playlist right in front of my eyes without me touching anything.I then reviewed the playlist and found some of the tracks I deleted earlier in the session had correctly been removed whilst others had returned BUT worse still was that tracks I definitely didn't delete have been removed from the playlist. ( I noticed this as it was a track I hadn't even got to in the playlist).So not only had I wasted 10 minutes of edits I have ended up with random tracks missing. I now have to restore the playlist and start again.WHAT IS GOING ON?  This would have been easy to miss if I hadn'

I posted a while back about an issue with duplicate album names (https://en.community.sonos.com/topic/show?tid=6925592&fid=229131). That is still an issue, but this seems to be a new wrinkle.Just eyeballing my album list, I see (at least) eight cases where the same album title is used on different albums by different artists. One example: ‘Greatest Hits’ by (1) Carole King and James Taylor, and (2) Steely Dan.The most extreme case is ‘Unplugged’ by four different artists.(Alicia Keys is erroneously​​​ repeated)In all cases, if I select one of a group of duplicates and ‘Replace queue’, ALL albums of the same name get queued.Can anyone else check for similar behavior?Yes, I realize I could get probably around this by simply tweaking the name of one of the albums, but should I have to? Should be a simple fix for a vendor who was concerned.Please advise. Thanks!

I have a new router in the hall now and don't want to permanently hardwire a play 1 speaker there.  Can a 5  x play 1 system work on wifi with none hardwired to a router?  Asking as the app isn't detecting my products, unless hardwired and doesn't seem to be using wifi anyway.

I just discovered that MyTuner Radio no longer works in Sonos. I deleted the service and reinstalled it, to no avail. Yesterday it was functioning normally. Did something change I'm not aware of? Or maybe there is a Sonos-rep who can shed some light on this problem? Thanks in advance.

For the last two weeks or so, my audio has been stuttering when I play podcasts from my phone. It does not stutter when I play music, and it does not stutter when I am watching TV and using the Arc for audio. Sonos support seems to think I have a high amount ot wireless interference. I do not have smart devices other than my TV and I have not added anything new. I've tried all the different WiFi channels with no change. Could this really be the issue if it's not stuttering all the time? What else do you think I could try? I've tried a couple different services and it stutters across both of them.

DId I just waste $366 on a Sonos Move 2? I have a Port, Playbar and a Move 1 all working seamlessly. Products are rather pricy so I buy something when I can and decided to get the better sounding Move 2 and just keep the Move 1 in my bedroom. I just got the Move 2 today and it installed perfectly, it loads the playlist off my drive connected to the router like it should, but when I try to play anything from that drive I get an “Access Denied” error with no explanation of how to fix it. This is where I ALWAYS play my music from and it works fine on all other devices. If I can’t play music from my external drive on my Move 2, should I just return it? If it does not play that music, it’s worthless to me.

Have app loaded on Windows an Android. Using Amazon Unlimited and until last 7 days no problem. In My Music section of  Amazon Music Services if I chose Albums I get list of albums but when I click on individual album therein I only get image and not list of tracks to play. If i press on sub-menu and press play now I get error message. However all tracks are there if I access ‘Tracks’ rather thank ‘Albums’ I have not got over 500 tracks and have tried both delisting and readding Amazon to services. Any advice appreciated

Hi All,I have a new setup at home that is:Samsung OLED S95D (Dec 2024) Sonos ARC Ultra + Sub (Gen 4) + 2x ERA 300 (Mar 2025) PC with Nvidia 4080 Super and Windows 11 (Dec 2024)I connected everything as I think it should be connected: PC goes to one HDMI 2.1 port on the OneConnect Box from GPU Sonos ARC Ultra to eARC port on the OneConnect BoxUp to few months ago, the system was working flawlessly: I was able to see Dolby Atmos on my PC, the app Dolby Access was showing the configuration (for home theater the Atmos was enabled) and life was good. All of a sudden, probably after an update on the GPU, the Dolby Access stopped working. I can see that the system processes Dolby Atmos from Windows settings, but I am bot able to activate it from spatial audio settings.I tried rolling back GPU Drivers, installing new drivers,  switching HDMI ports but no chances. The spatial audio is gone.I also managed to reinstall Windows 11 (I upgraded my SDD) and I still have the same issue.Do you guys hav
