Move charging issue

Just bought a move (2nd hand). Never been used, sellers information. The speaker will not charge. Keep switching between fast twinkling red light and slower orange lights. Any idea? Anyone?

Here are the flashing light definitions. Maybe “never been used” means “never worked for me”.

Here are the charger requirements. I suggest that before attempting to use the unit that you charge it for at least a couple hours, then Factory Reset before installing the unit.

If you have an existing SONOS system installed at this location it is important that you Add this MOVE to your system during MOVE installation, don’t setup a new system.

I have already done all the things you suggest. Charging almost 3 hours, connecting to existing system. The Move keeps blinking fast red and is dead when i remove it from the dock-in-charger. 
Return to sender I think 🤔
