Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

This new app is downright terrible. You can't access any of the playlists you have created, edited, and played the last couple of years. You get constant error messages, and no reason as to why. Then when you do get access to a playlist whether it be through your Apple or Spotify account it stops playing a song abruptly 45 seconds or a minute and a half through skipping to another song that isn't even next up in the playlist shown even in shuffle as it used to show you in the former application. I have heard one full song in the past 2 hrs. Then when you get into a playlist either way you can even scroll.the playlist you have to wait a couple seconds to load 10-15 titles and do that again to scroll down the list unlike the previous app where it was fluid and you scroll the entire lists seamlessly. Revert back to the old application and do us a favor. Allow us to have back the control we had before. Newer isn't always better. Fix all the issues because the brand name is definitely takin

Make sure your Sonos system is powered on and connected” All that’s changed is I was forced to update the iOS app to this (garbage) version. Now I can’t even connect to my system. Sonos please revert to the old app or at least tell me how I can connect to my existing system before my thousands of dollars of equipment is trashed

Hi I am looking to buy the home theater package with era300 speakers and Arc. One thing that's important to me is being able to switch from home theater setup connected to TV and then listening to music in stereo via the app with just the two era300 speakers (via the Sonos app on phone) with ease.  Is this easily. Any responses greatly appreciated 👍

I am at a total loss as to why the Sonos app is now worse than ever.I have 3x Play 5's, 2x Play 1's, a Playbar, an Amp and a Sub worth thousands of ££££ and now none of them will work or allow me to successfully set them up. Why??? This app is garbage. I hate the new look too. You say you’re preparing it for the future but watch out, you may not have one of you alienate your customer base, again. You made my earlier devices obsolete a few years ago and I thought I’ll stick with you, and so I had to replace them all And now this again. I have installed the new Sonos app and when I try to use the Sonos radio service I am asked to re-authorize the Sonos radio account to access the service. When I try to re-authorize the account, nothing happens except that I am asked again and again to re-authorize the account without being able to access the service. I have tried to log out of the Sonos account and reinstalled the Sonos app to no avail. Can anybody help me?

Hello, Why has my SONOS ONE SL WHITE suddenly stopped working? I purchased 4 of them at the same time in February 2023. Since then I’ve had 1 which has been playing up, I had to return 1 of them a month later as it was faulty and turning on ( I tried all the steps online about resetting ) and then received another one from JB-Hifi only to now find this one not powering on. The others work fine, drop out every not and then but still manageable.. Can anyone help? Not very happy with this purchase right now, It’s only lasted just over 12 months while my speaker I got from Kmart has lasted me well over that... Thank you!

S2 app on PC updated my system and now my app on android will not update. Is stuck on search for updates. I hit that then says done I hit that then it goes back to search for updates.

The moment I open the app on my android (Google Pixel 6 Pro), it crashes and closes. What is the solution?  Previously, it would only successfully connect to my system 50% of the time.  Call wait time is 95 minutes and chat is not available!This app is supposed to be getting better!!!

Today I tried:to play some music to my Beam via AirPlay but the operation failed to listen to a Sonos Radio station but the station wouldn’t loadto play some music on my Roam but the app kept saying the roam was powered down to switch on voice enhancer via the app but I can’t find where it is anymoreto activate Sonos voice assistant but the operation failed what the hell is going on ? ?  im sure someone will tell me to power down every component and reboot my router and then power everything back up, and do the same with me phone blah blah  is this what it’s come to? 

When I try to connect it to my system it comes up as unnamed deviceIt is either powered off when it is not or in sleep mode Cannot get it past that Have reset it and tried re-adding it but no change Steve edit: Some additional info. It seems to add my Move 2 okay but at the end it warns me that it may not appear in my app and if not to power off and on again. I have done that multiple times but the app must shows it as Powered OffModerator edit: combined posts

I’ve just moved home with 3 products - 2x Play 1 and 1x One SL, but need to set up a new system. For some system, this is proving incredibly difficult and throwing up some strange issues along the way. First off, the app wouldn’t recognise any of the speakers. I performed a factory set on each and they have since managed to connect.Play 1 x2 - goes through the motions of setting up as a new system on the Sonos app, culminating in a message saying the products have been added but may not show up under system until they are unplugged and reconnected. Unplug, reconnect - no system found.One SL - doesn’t even go through the motions on the Sonos app, but on the old Sonos S1 app it will connect using the infinity button and then...nothing. No system shows up, no other products can be connected.Several hours and a conversation with Support later - I still can’t set up any products on a system.Anyone else experienced this? Any advice would be gratefully received, thank you! 

I got a brand new Sonos Move2 direct from Sonos. I’m a fitness instructor and needed to connect via Bluetooth. The first time I used it the sound kept cutting out. I’m using Spotify on an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’ve used this device in the same rooms and positions connecting to my old Bose and had no problem at all. I contacted Sonos and they told me to reset and send diagnostics etc. when they couldn’t find the problem they send me another band new one and I had to return the original one back to Poland. The second one came. First time I tried it, exactly the same. Again contacted Sonos, went through all the diagnostics with no joy. I explained the goods were unfit for purpose however they refused to give me a refund stating because I had received a replacement it was out of their money back guarantee!! I’m fuming. I have a speaker that is useless for my purpose!! Wish I had upgraded to a better Bose. The only thing I have found which helped slightly was moving my iPhone further awa

Hi everyone, just updated to the new app , I've noticed the Trueplay toggle is now missing, before I updated it was there under settings but now it's gone , I am using an android phone and always had the toggle but unfortunately it's now gone , or is it hidden??? Thanks 

Ever since I updated to the new app it will periodically disconnect from my system and will only reconnect if I reboot my phone. Has anyone else had this issue?

I HAVE WAITED FOR MONTHS TO HAVE THIS UPDATE FIX IMPLEMENTED. I HAVE NO ACCESS TO MY LOCAL LIBRARY. I’VE DONE THE NAS LIBRARY WORK AROUND BUT IT IS NOT PERMANENT (NAS LIBRARY DISAPPEARS FOR NO REASON) AND THERE IS NO INTERPLAY WITH THE IPHONE APP.  THIS FIX WAS PROMISED IN MID-JUNE AND NOW IN MID-JULY….HERE WE ARE AND NOTHING. I’VE SPENT THOUSANDS ON THIS SYSTEM AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO PLAY MY MUSIC THIS THIS UPDATE DESTROYED MY SYSTEM.  CAN YOU PLEASE ADVIDE OR DIRECT ME TO WHERE I CAN GET AN UPDATE ON THIS PROBLEM. SOMETHING LIKE THIS IS UNHEARD OF, AND QUITE FRANKLY, INEXCUSABLE.  CAN THE OPEN PROGRAM, PRE-PROBLEMATIC UPDATE, BE RETURNED SO I CAN BE OPERABLE AGAIN?    

I have updated to the new app. Like the new layout, but how do I access, set and remove alarms on my system, now? 

I love my Sonos system. When my Bose bluetooth speaker hit EOL I opted for a Roam loving the idea that I could link it to my existing system but also take it anywhere with me. And it does work great at both. My only criticism is that it’s a power hog. I took it on my recent 5 day camping trip & was able to use it for campfire music the first night. The next day I used my portable power bank to charge it. This power bank should’ve been able to charge my iPhone 15 4 times. After charging my iphone once, the Roam sucked up the remainder of the power bank leaving me unable to charge anything else. We ended up using my friend’s cheap bluetooth speaker for most of the trip as it lasted just as long (didn’t actually time it & alcohol was consumed so don’t hold me to that lol) & was easier to recharge. I ended running my car for 30min to recharge my iPhone & power bank. I ordered a small portable solar panel for charging on Prime Days to hopefully help keep it charged next trip

I own a play 5 gen 1 and recently bought another secondhand and it sounds completely different to mine. The only difference between them is one is white and the other is black.When I place them side by side the black one sounds great and the white sounds like one or both of the mids are missing. It makes me feel like my ears need to pop.Is there a way to test that mids are working?

I can see the Sonos Move in system but I’m unable to have it join the already playing other room, nor I’m able to play by it self. I have rebooted it several times. Any advice?

have a play 1 and play 5 connected by wifi for years. recently sonos app reports no speakers are connected.  leaving the play 1 untouched, i connected the 5 via ethernet and it worked as did the 1 still on wifi.  by disconnecting the ethernet cable from the 5, the wifi connection on the 1 was lost.  how do we get both of these back on wifi?,
