Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Due to Sonos refusing to play my Amazon Music playlists appropriately I removed the service from Sonos and attempted to re-authorize.  However, as I follow the steps to add the service, it stalls on a screen with this message: “Authorizing Amazon Music Account...”   Below that it shows the Amazon Music logo and the spinning circle directly below that but refuses to proceed/complete.  I’ve updated everything and my accounts are all compatible (Unlimited).  Despite several attempts, the account refuses to proceed after as long as minutes.  Samsung Android telephone.  Please advise on how to move this forward and complete the authorization.  

Just got the Era 300 and I’m using latest ios on 15 pro max iPhone. When I start the advanced true play calibration it crashes after exactly 2 sec  iinto a message stating “there is something wrong …”. Is there a fix for this?

Hi, I have found the new Sonos iOS App (80.00.08) returns a “No results” message for all YouTube Music searches. This same account worked fine in the pervious generation of iOS app and continues to work on the latest MacOS app (16.2). I have tried removing and re-authorizing the YouTube Music service and restarting all the equipment with no luck, and now suspect this is broken. Has anyone else had this problem?Are there any fixes?When will this get fixed? Thanks,Graham

I’ve struggled with the Sonos App since the May 2024 update, in particular the volume control and overall slow performance.Today I downloaded the Sonophone app from the Apple App Store.  It costs £3 (three pounds sterling).It’s excellent and my 6 Sonos speakers are now usable again.

Why is Sonos only playing on the first like 30 seconds of the song and then skipping to another song?

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the latest update of your app. This situation has brought me to the brink of packing up all my Sonos speakers and putting them in storage. Since the update, my experience has been nothing short of a disaster:1. Speaker Detection Issues: The app intermittently fails to detect my speakers. They appear and disappear at random, making it impossible to manage them effectively.2. Grouping Problems: When I try to split the music in one room from the group, the remaining speakers stop working and cannot be re-grouped. This has rendered the multi-room functionality unusable.3. Playback Failures: None of the speakers will play music after attempting to manage them through the app.4. App Connectivity: The app frequently loses connection with the speakers and is unable to detect them again.5. Google Assistant Issues:

I have been using sonos and apple tv and never heard any sound when turning apple tv off but recently when i turn it off sonos arc plays very loud chime like turnoff sound. I have looked both Sonos and apple tv setting but could not find anything that might help turn it off. Need help. Plz

Have read a lot of info on here over past months re; this utter disaster of a roll out...must say, what a complete *-show from Sonos. I am still able to use (& enjoy) my Sonos speakers for now, as I haven’t yet upgraded the android app to the new version, but expect at some point I’ll need to. Currently using an old WD MyCloud (NAS) which uses SMB v1, and according to WD, it’s doesn’t support SMB v2/v3.So, in short, my question is this:Once/if this new version of the app ever gets fixed, and what may be referred to as ‘normal Sonos functionality’ returns, is it the case that I will need to go out and spend more money to replace my current NAS with a new one which supports SMB 2/3, in order to play my music from my music-library on my Sonos speakers?Thanks for reading. 👍*Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the

It appears that there is huge mass of us that are extremely disappointed and frustrated with this new app. Not sure if it matters or if anyone is looking, but adding my voice to the long line in hopes that Sonos will revert back to the former app. This new app is over-designed, dysfunctional and removed functionality. How on earth did this get approved to launch?! PLEASE Sonos team, admit you made a mistake, revert back to the old app so you can perfect whatever it is you were trying to achieve with this update. 

My favourite stations will not play. In particular stations from other countries. No error message or anything suggesting of an issue come up. I can listen to some stations but only local ones, within the same country. Is there a geographical limit? 

Well, having previously posted that I’d managed to get a reasonably stable Sonos system 80% of the time since the infamous App upgrade largely due to overhauling our WiFi, that figure took a dramatic downward revision yesterday morning. On launching the Sonos App for some morning music, one speaker of a stereo pair immediately lost connection and 5 hours of repeated factory resets or ethernet cable connections failed to get it to rejoin, just endless ‘lost connection’ error messages during setup. Only solution has been to move another speaker to form the pair, as this was a set where a stereo pair really mattered and I now have one useless Sonos One (Gen 1). In the process of sorting all this, the Sonos App also suddenly lost all of the Apple Music Playlists I had pinned, just to rub its appalling instability in.I’ve now got to the point where I’ve decided not to launch the Sonos App at all and simply stick to Airplay and the Apple Music or Apple Music Classi

I’m a big fan of Sonos speaker and I bought two era 300, two ones, an arc, a sub mini and a roam, however, it’s been really lame when streaming Music on my Sonos. They either just stopped playing or skipping songs… if it’s just once a few days I might ignore it, but it’s been a while that I have to unplug the speaker to restart, some times I need to do it multiple times a day, and now I just don’t even bother and just use Bluetooth, and that only works with my era 300s and roam.  i called in the CS, they said it might be because of the new app update and Sonos is working on fixing it. Anyone else is having the same issue? When will Sonos speakers work properly? 

I have three speakers in my system (roam is not on). They all show up to select. If I start music on one of them and then try and add the second, it keeps saying unable to connect. See screenshots. It is playing on the Sonos Move. When I check TV Room and apply, I get the unable to connect at the top of the next picture.   I can play different music on each speaker.  I’ve unplugged/powered down the speakers and reset my router and still nothing.  

With the new app, I can’t access my music at all. According to the Sonos support pages, you add your music library by going to “Manage” and then “Music Library Settings”. But in my app, there is no Music Library Settings on that page, only Content Services.I called Sonos support, and they told me that some people are missing that setting, and this is something they’re working on (and they couldn’t say how long that would take). But the lady I talked to didn’t really seem to know what she was talking about. I haven’t found anybody else reporting this problem. Everybody is talking about all the missing features, but nobody mentions not even being able to access your music through the app. Is somebody else experiencing this?

Would love for the Arc to be able to connect to two Ace headphones. This seams like it could easily be a software update. 

5 rooms full of reviously working sonos gear.Music is playing, neither sonos or spotify can see or control the audio flow.  Volume controls snap back, room joins fail, starting new music fails.Un-installed and reinstalled sonos on Android.  Rebooted.  Spotify can't connect to speakers, nor affect audio levels.  Once I was able, with one room disconnected, to start another song, but nothing snapped back to normal.  Worked fine yesterday.  Nothing on wifi / LAN changed.Events suspected to cause issue: samsung TV switched audio from sonos bar (mute, which caused all music to stop) to BT headphones. Umpaused sonos, music continued.  Timeline resumes above. Additionally, changing between 2 wifi systems at two locations, with same ssid and pw, confuses the app, takes 5 seconds to figure out where it is, and let me see the devices. 

So I’ve been digging around and have not found a place to contact support directly so is this the place?  I had an arc with the one SL’s setup as surround sounds.  I replaced the One SL with Era 300’s.   I factory reset the One SL’s and set them up for both to be in Office.   I click add stereo pair and it runs the setup and then says there is a problem.    The Wi-Fi is a deco BE 95 mesh in access point mode,  I’ve tried turning off the 5Ghz off and only using 2.4 and vice versa, tried connecting both One SL’s to ethernet same problem.   So after hours of frustration I decide Lets just setup the era 300’s as the surround speakers so at least I can have that.  I setup the speakers add them to main bedroom.   Well on the sonos app there is now main bedroom, main bedroom 2, and main bedroom 3.  Odd but I go to the Main Bedroom the arc and sub are there i click Add surround speakers and it comes back saying I NEEED 2 compatible speakers.    Why is this such a p

Anyone else have a TON of trouble with this junk. Took it on vacation, keeps dropping off of Bluetooth and WiFi impossible. Absolutely terrible.

Despite following all the recommended steps, I am unable to update the network settings via the Sonos app. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what I’ve tried so far: App and Device Status: The Sonos app is up-to-date. The Sonos Amp is connected to power and initially connected via Ethernet. Steps Taken: Connected the Amp to the router using an Ethernet cable. Accessed the Sonos app, went to Settings > System > Network, and attempted Wireless Setup. The the app fails

 Why are options like Replace Queue etc. missing from the Play menu.  This was accessing an Apple Music playlist by holding down on it to bring up the context menu. 

Ace doesn’t audio swap with Arc that is connected to Apple TV 4K via airplay 2 (not HDMI). The Apple TV 4K is connected to a TV projector and not to a TV. When I attempt to Ace audio swap with my Arc the sound defaults to the TV projector audio. No sound gets swapped to the Ace. Is the audio swapping not working because the Arc is not connected to the Apple TV 4K with a HDMI?

For several months my Sonos app went off and kept telling me it could not connect or could not find any Sonos products on my system! But I have 1 tv boombar and 4 Sonos 1 speakers….they weren’t cheap! And now nothing works or connect to my music services or my wifi

  I am running Windows 10 and the music is all digital on both my C drive and the Cloud.  After the update, now Sonos can no longer see/read my Apple Music Library.  My whole system is now basically useless.  I can bluetooth to my Move but … really?  if that’s all i want to do I don’t need Sonos.This worked fine until the update.  No warnings.  Nothing.  Just no longer works.
