Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Whenever I listen to radio thru Tunein, I get the "Welcome to Tunein" message every 10 minutes while disrupting the music. Highly irritating. Why??? It's also pretty irritating having to hear "Welcome to Tunein" whenever I switch stations. I didn't have that with another brand I used before.

Hi,I have set up 2 Sonos FIVE speakers as a stereo pair in my living room but felt that the sounds was coming too much from one side of the room (the wall against which the 2 FIVE speakers are) so I decided to add a 3rd speaker and bought a sonos ERA 300 that I place on the opposite wall facing the 2 Sonos FIVE, so it’s a triangle.I wanted to add the ERA 300 to the “Living room” in the app so that the 3 speakers would be grouped and synced but it seems that I cannot do this… probably because the 2 FIVEs are in a stereo pair? I can always select “Living room” + “Living room 2” (the name I’ve given to the ERA 300) to play music on the 3 speakers but I cannot do a Trueplay tuning for the 3 speakers…So here are my questions:Is there a way to add the ERA 300 to the stereo pair? Would the sound be better if I un-paired the 2 FIVEs and grouped the 3 speakers together (2 FIVEs and 1 ERA 300) instead so I could do Trueplay? Would it be better to get a 3rd FIVE instead of ERA 300 so the 3 speake

My sonos Arc does not connect to wifi anymore. I have try to reset my router many time . And it’s impossible to factory reset my Arc exept if i plug it into the ethernet port .When i try to factory reset the arc wireless ( no ethernet cable ) the light blinking amber and and came solid white but never came blinking green ( pairing mode ) but when i plug the ethernet cable everything is fine.

I have wifi at home with sonos configured.  I have new speakers at my office, so i need to add another wifi to use office speakers. Buggered if i can add another wifi to my account.any help, thanks

Hi. Is it possible to add youtube app to sonos app? If so, how?.

I like to be able to choose a specific group and adjust the volume level to each different speak in creating a  alarm. The right not you can only choose either speaker or general group and no choice of sound levels to each of the speakers.  I rather choose the speakers and volume of the for each of the alarms might even add a copy to another new alarm so you would not to customize each of the alarm again. I maybe you could create different groups with the specific speakers and column? 

why cant i hear music from the sonos app in my sonos ace ? its only possible for me to listen to spotify

Until recently when I turned on my TV the Sonos Ray would be muted by default. Now it remembers the last volume setting.How do I set it back to be muted when I switch my TV on?

Hi,I’ve just replaced a couple of old Sonos devices in our house which means I can now use the S2 app. I also have a Beam connected to two Play:1s as surrounds.I’ve managed to get them all set up OK on the S2 app, but when I go into the “surround audio” options, all I see is a “Surround distance” with a “reset” button. So I can’t set the music audio to “full” for the Play1:s.Any ideas why I can’t see the usual surround audio options? Thanks!

I just changed my wifi routers in my house, and now my sonos speakers aren’t working! Some join, and some don’t, music keeps dropping off and even the app itself won’t load properly, and keeps popping up with the message “something went wrong, try again” Please help!!!ps. I’ve been trying to set up via 5ghz connection, but even on 2.4ghz router option I’m having the same problems. Nothing seems to work!  Moderator Note - Removed and recorded diagnostics number.

Why wasn’t this beta tested? If it was, it was poorly tested. When a hardware product is beta tested, it is released with 99% of the bugs worked out. With this software update, it seems like nothing was tested. And no, I will not buy or recommend Sonos to anyone again. This is a complete failure on the part of Sonos. I am obviously very saddened, frustrated and upset with this update or really lack of. I haven’t been able to use my Sonos Threes in my office using a library for more than 8 months! I am an android user and switched to S2 and then boom, no music library. Next, I enrolled in Apple Music since I was told that would work. So now I am an Android user with Apple Music that still does not work. Before you introduce additional items such as a sleep timer, maybe Sonos should fix things like a library, so that I can listen to my 1000s of songs.

Where to start. I miss the old app. Is there a major update in the works or is the current version what will be ? The current version is unfriendly. 

Can a stereo pair be set up with 2 Era 300 using Bluetooth?

Since last update on sonos I have lost all my playlists and all that shows are my Spotify ones. Any advice on how to get them back would be greatfuly accepted 

Is it possible to connect 3 no. Era 100’a in the same space, for example with two as a stereo pair and the third just playing independently?

The release notes say:“This release will be gradually rolled out to users over several days.”Can we please get a more detailed update? Surely there is more detail about the plan for this rollout that can be shared.

Hello,My System can‘t use my Sonos bridge anymore.I have to update the Bridge,but this didn‘t work?somebody Can help me?

My Sonos speakers are not being recognized by the app. I've tried reconnecting them, but it cannot locate my product. How do I do this? I've had the same speakers for the last two years and this is the first time I've had this issue.

I suffered the app update which was in May  and it’s now close to September and no update. So my questions are, when do we see the app being fixed and able to access our connected NAS drives again? My second question relates to the Sonos roam and S5 v2. I was bought a roam for my birthday then decided to upgrade my S5 to a v2, at the time I could play vinyl from my Bluetooth turntable to my Sonos  roam and then pair it with the new S5, I did check this with Sonos who confirmed this was possible and it was, since the update that’s also broken. So can I get a reply to my questions please, as I think I have been patient for the last few months with Sonos, but  having not see any further emails bar the apology I am wondering if it’s being fixed.

I just spent hours, after discovering the music library capability has returned to the app, re-adding my music library on a synology NAS back to sonos. The whole process was hindered by a lack of proper instructions or error messages in the app. Let me save folks a lot of pain and give them the details:Go into your NAS and make sure SMB is enabled. Also, make sure SMB 1 is turned off and 2 and/or 3 are on. I found that even if 2-3 were on, if SMB 1 was still possible it mucked things up.  Go into advanced SMB and see if you can enable master browsing. This seemed to help sonos find the files I have music in later. Do not try to add your music library from the app on an iphone or ipad. It is too hard, and does not let you browse to the files. You need to key them in by hand, which is really irritating. Go into your PC (or MAC and do it there). Go into the add music library function. Use the browse function to find the music directory on the NAS you want to add. Note, if SMB 1 is active

This just started today 7/19/24 on the desktop controller, impacting all albums in my library with tracks by different artists. The album itself appears in the library once for each unique track artist (so some as many as 30 times) and within each album, the tracks are now sorted by artist instead of track number with no way to re-sort.

I own over a dozen active Sonos devices. In my online account (on sonos.com) one of those devices does not reflect the room rename I’ve done. It is listed as “Move” rather than the new name. Only one of my devices has this problem, which is a bit odd. On the local network, the rename was successful.Any ideas what’s preventing the rename from being reflected in my account?

I have 4 sonos amps with 4 seperate zones of speakers. How can I play different music from spotify account on each zone in the same buiding on same network?

The Saga continues……                                                                 My System consisted of 2- Play 5’s, 1- Connect Amp, 1-Play One, a Bridge, and 1- CR200 Controller… This had worked successfully for a many years and then recently I kept had intermittent  connection to the Play One….  and after the Help Desk had me switch to Wi-Fi (removing the bridge) all now works… except the CR200 Controller….  When S2 was introduced, I was told specifically that the CR200 MUST have the Bridge to operate as the 200 only has SonosNet.. and it did … until now.  It provided great convenience for us when it was used. I was thinking about getting another Bridge or Boost, but trying to find a working one may be a challenge. But now I’m reading contradictory threads of users who have successfully reintroduced the CR200 without a Bridge… and using S1, saying it only requires at least one of your Speakers be connected to your Router.If this is correct, I would really like that confirmation,
