Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have a sonos arc and other sonos speakers.Sonos arc speaker is the only one that cannot connect to my system.I have a starlink connection and i have try it to other isp connection and its working sonos arcbut to starlink connection it doesn't work.Any suggestions?

Hi, I bought 2 Era 100 a couple of months ago, and they have been cutting in and out often when in a stero pair. The primary speaker is always good, but the secondary cuts in and out frequently. Please help!  They’re connected to a 5GHZ WIFI.  

I have factory Reset all my Sonos Equipment. Recently was gifted a system from a friend who did not know how to reset everything. I have connected the Sub to the system, but the system will not recognize the Soundbar, play:1 x2 or play:5 even if I connect them with Ethernet cable 

So we have this 4 speaker setup that was working just fine and all of a sudden it stopped working. Not knowing why I just proceeded to reset everything but for every speaker the result was the same setting it up over WiFi.I can see the speaker and it also connects to the WiFi (takes long thought) and then it says it’s all done but might not show up in the list. If it doesn’t I’m supposed to unplug it and plug it back in. That is exactly what happens so when I don’t see it in my list I proceed to unplug it. Then I try to add the speaker again but this time it’s not in a reset mode. It finds the speaker just fine and tries to connect and fails. Every speaker does this and this happens every time. What is going on here?The speakers in question are 3x Play:1 and one play:5 When I connect it on ethernet i can actually set it up and even gives me the option to select the location for it. But then it’s on ethernet and as soon as I unplug it it do

I have a Samsung TV. Audio set to Dolby Atmos. Shows EArc. I have Now TV uktra boost, which supports Dolby atmos. I play a show through there and the arc shows Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0. Is this atmos?

I am having problems with my Sonos one speakers having a delay from the sound coming from the soundbar.

Suddenly the Android app just spinns and says "something went wrong". When i play from my Mac through AirPlay, everything is ok. I have restarted router, re-installed app and i see my speakers in the app, but it just spinns.  Thanks for help and advice. 

I know there has been some problems - to put it mildly - but in October 2024 is anyone else STILL getting regular drop out when playing music? I get regular moments of silence in the middle of songs and it’s REALLY frustrating that it hasn’t been sorted yet. Ive got Sonos Ones (x6) - don’t think it matters but some are One SLs I’m on app version 80.09.08 Software is on automatic updates and all speakers are up to date.  Any help would be appreciated.

This issue had been going on for several years now, and happens in two different houses with different network systems (although the networks have the same name and password for convenience).Both systems are made of several play 1s and several One SL, one also has an old playbase grouped with two play 1s. Some units are in pairs, some are standalone. In each house the system has at least one speaker connected via Ethernet, I kept wifi activated on the speakers. Both wifi are mesh systems with several repeaters (google mesh in one, different brand in the other).Whenever I try to adjust the volume or change songs with the Sonos app (android or iOS, latest version at the time of writing), it works instantly when controlling One SLs but takes 10+ seconds to react with the Play 1s, making them unusable. The same issue happens when they're directly playing from the Spotify app. If I use voice command via a Google home unit, the Play 1s react immediately, which tells me there

Sonos had been doing well with a Connect:AMP unit, but then started to drop out. I unplugged the AMP and plugged it back in, and now it is off the network. The Android app I have is 80.09.04-release+20240917.6a71457I have a pair of left and right Play:1’s and they work fine. I have a Roam SL and it works fine. The Connect:AMP shows up in it, but every time a try to play something, I get “Something went wrong.”  So what went wrong? How can I find out?  

SENT TO CEO@SONOS.COM  I have never been a litigious person in my life but I think I would join in a class action suit against Sonos for What you have done to your users with this new app.  You have breached your agreement and trust with customers Rendering in many cases, thousands of dollars of expensive equipment virtually useless.  Why in Gods name did you make a major change to an app that has caused such confusion and operational problems.   First you introduced it no option of retaining the older app which worked just fine.  Then you admitted terrible operational errors that needed multiple fixes and to this day doesnt work well.  My music services cut out unexpectedly without recovering. Some of my speakers need multiple restarts to connect. There are substantial connection delays.

If I broadcast in one room it's a little better, not ideal, but if I do it in 2 or 3 rooms it's impossible even though everything was perfect before. Radio broadcasting poses no problem Thanks!

Hello, I get the following error: “Your system cannot connect to content”. I tried to restart the speaker and the app, but nothing changed. It works to play from airplay, but not from the app. Please let me know what could I do.  Thank you,Stefan 

Dear Sonos team,i placed the Sub Gen 3 in the corner between the wall and the TV cabinet. The distance between the TV stand and the wall is 43.5 cm. In practice, the Sub is positioned in the center of that distance. Is the position correct? Or is it better to always keep it in that space but a little more towards the outside? So that the two acoustic ports of the sub have a little more "breath".However i am very happy with how the sub works, the bass is spectacular.Good job

So with the new app, i lost my whole system. I managed to add everything again except for the Sub. The app recognizes it on the network but crashes after 2 seconds when trying to add it, already factory resetted it. What to do?  

I have a solid red status light on ARC after update.Reboot and attempt at factory reset have the same result. 2 slow white flashes on the status light followed by the speaker light flash, this sequence loops a few times then solid red.I have tried factory reset with ethernet cable connected as well. SONOS chat support was not help after 2 hrs waiting for responses. any help please??  

Hi,Heave anybody the same problems with multible Spotify streams?It has already worked all the time since i have the sonos systems over many years.I use a premium Spotify account.Best regards.Berni

Hey guys,I have just bought a Sonos Amp and have connected my record player to it via the RCA outputs, I’m just wondering if I can also connect my cd player? Is it possible to use an HDMI cable from the HDMI output on the Amp then attach a Sonos Optical Audio Adapter which then plugs into the Optical output of the cd player?Thanks!

Okay, this is going to be long. Like many of you I have hit the wall on the NAS issue.  Don’t let them lie to you about SMB.  It is 100% about indexing.Normal folder structure of Artist/Album/Song craps out quickly.  The meta-data is just too large for the crappy app So I copied songs individually to folders.  First couple of folders could do about 1000 songs. Works perfect. Can index these songs. If you do more than that it fails.  So this is a VOLUME issue, not a SMB issue So I created a few more Folders with 1000 or so songs in them and was able to index those.  Fine By the time I was at 5 Folders, needed few and few songs per folder Stupid, terrible, unfriendly app craps out at 16 folders (hard max) I can’t prove it, but it seems like things loaded better if I cleaned up some special characters that were part of the song names.So I can get roughly 9,000 of my 22,000 songs into SONOS.In

Well after investing probably circa £2k on Sonos speakers over the years I’m left completely exasperated by the utter uselessness of the black app.    It is truly shocking by comparison to the rust coloured app that preceded it.  It cuts out all the time, stops working when it feels like it, and changes songs midway through.  What a great update Sonos team……errr I don’t think so.   What has angered me most is the removal of the ability to add songs your currently playing to your own playlist.  Call me old fashioned but in any music app surely the first thing is should do is allow you to add to your own playlist. Not a bloody Sonos one that doesn’t even work correctly. All the decent functionality was removed and replaced with utter crap.  What I really don’t understand is how the tech people and the board are still in office.  Yes the CEO wrote out to say sorry but didn’t you consult your client base first.  Surely the first rule in business is to meet the needs of your customers. H

We were promised a fix in September, what is the target date for a fix? This is really bad escape defect.  We have waited over 4 months!

Today, my app tells me that I need to reauthorize the TuneIn app because account access has expired.  I follow the simple on screen process that takes me to the TuneIn website to authorise the connection but I get a message saying the pairing didn't work"Something went wrong when trying to pair to your Sonos System.Please return to the Sonos app and try again using the same credentials."Anyone know how to fix this?Thanks
