Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

WHY THE HELL IS EROR 913 ON THE MAC NOT SOLVED?

Hi all,I have a NVIDIA Shield Pro → LG G5 → Sonos Arc Ultra (eARC).I am trying movies coded with TrueHD Atmos 7.1 but on Sonos its showing Dolby Multichannel 2.0. How do I get the TV and Shield to give me the correct/proper sound? I thought the Arc Ultra handled Atmos right, so why wouldnt it output this? Any help or best settings would be so welcome… Please help.FYI, I also tried with an Apple TV 4k, so if anyone has ideas for this that would be great too.

I’m a die hard Sonos supporter. My system works as it should. However nothing is perfect.I’d like to see Sonos (if possible) do something to improve the microphone sensitivity for voice assistants. I have three Arc Ultra’s and all have difficulty picking up a request when audio is playing. Ironically, my Move 2’s are much more sensitive to picking up a voice command when playing audio.I don’t believe this is an issue where I need to submit a diagnostic. I’m well enough familiar with Sonos to know when an issue is not a glitch but something that may be corrected via a firmware update unless it is hardware based. If hardware then I’ll have to wait for the Arc Ultra Plus 😂.But seriously, hopefully the Moderators can push this as a low-level concern but one that would be most appreciated if addressed. 

My sonos amp only has 2 of the 4 speakers working. I cannot find anywhere to view the speakers if there is that facility. I have turned it all off and wifi then rebooted and plug in speakers again and that has not worked.

I have done a factory rest and connected my Sonos one gen 2 to the network. It then says the message in the image I have attached. However, there is no system settings in the app. I see a settings icon in the top right but it doesn’t let me click it. Any advice?

Beginners use of Sonos App. I’m sure there is a simple guide to the Sonos app. for OIS? I get lost very easily; can’t ‘re-find’ topics…! What’s the best, simplest place to start learning about the Sonos App.? Then, I guess, there must be a simple overview article somewhere with setup/management instructions that cover everything (without getting bogged down)?

I notice the volume level is significantly lower when playing music via Spotify on my phone or via the Spotify integrated in the Sonos app. Is that normal? I installed the Spotify app on my Google Streamer and the music level is much better with that and mirrors the TVs reference level. Is there a setting I am missing? I don’t have a volume limit and even use lossless. Please advise.

I am streaming with a hardwired (1Gb/s) Nvidia Shield Pro passthrough to a TCL 65QM851G TV. My new Sonos Arc Ultra is plugged into the eARC port of the TV and the TV is set to passthrough to the Arc Ultra. I also have a pair of ERA100’s for surrounds. The Sonos gear is connected to a 5G wifi network. The system plays/streams PCM stereo content with no issue but when I stream any type of Dolby content (Dolby Atmos or Dolby Plus 5.1) it plays awesome for about 5 minutes then the sound starts to drop out very briefly about every 1-2 seconds. If I pause the stream for a couple seconds and restart it, the cycle repeats, 5 minutes of awesome sound then the dropouts restart. What can I do to rectify this issue?

I have a Sony Bravia and Apple TV 4K and use a Siri Remote Apple TV IOS has latest update 26.3. I had been using Apple TV remote to control volume for a very long time. This is an RF remote as is the Sony remote both would control. Out of seemingly nowhere, the remote no longer controls volume. The Sonos is connected to the network by Ethernet and to the TV by optical audio cable. Sonos indicates software is up to date. I have tried the following:Reset the whole Sonos system by unplugging and disconnecting the optical audio cable. I used the app to set everything up and it goes well until the remote set up. Neither remote will pair up!I reset the Volume Control setting in Apple TV from Auto to TV via IR as some suggested. Still nothing.  It appears that it is somehow powering on when the Sonos when I turn on the TV because I turned off the playbar multiple times and it keeps turning back on and playing sound at a lowered volume I previously left it on. 

I have an Amazon Fire TV stick and I would like to hear the TV audio through a Sonos AMP. I do not plan on adding a soundbar. The entire setup will consist of only the amp and a pair of sonos in-wall speakers.I found an old article (5 years old) detailing how to extract audio using an HDMI audio extractor along with a sonos optical audio adapter, which seems rather archaic…So I have 2 questions:Could I just connect the Fire TV to the TV and using the HDMI/ARC connect the TV to the AMP? Would I be able to adjust the Sonos volume though arc? Could I then still create a group in the Alexa app combining an echo device to the amp to stream music trough it WITHOUT using the sonos app? How would that work if I’m already watching TV and play music through Alexa at the same time? 

I screwed up and added my new Era 100 to its own system, not the current system that my Beam is on.I keep trying to forget the system for the Era but it stays there. I added another era 100 to the original system  Am I screwed?

I am thinking of adding an Arc Ultra to my TV.  Existing system are all older Play1 and Play 5 speakers and still using the older App.Will the Arc Ultra be usable with the old App and will I be able to add a couple of Play1s as surround speakers ? Not upgraded yet because of the cost and the fact they still sound great. 

I have been using Sonos for 22 years. Today, my Sonos app on the Mac suddenly couldn’t find the Music Library I keep on the computer. After several other attempted fixes, I deleted the Music Library in Sonos and tried to add it back, but it wouldn’t do so. Nothing has changed on my system, as far as I am aware. Firewall and file sharing appear correctly set up. I use Sonos S1 controller on the Mac, and am running mac OS Sequoia 15.7.3.Any ideas, anyone?

 Hi All - I think I posted this originally in the wrong forum!Can anyone help with this though its not strictly related to Sonos issues?I have an old Buffalo Linkstation Duo that registered a disc failure so I replaced the disc and the other one failed. So I replaced that one and within a few days it registered a failure on the first brand new one!Im assuming that is a power issue or a fault with the chassis rather than the discs as they are brand new.So my question is if I kept the discs (assuming they are fine which they should be as they are brand new) and just switched them into a replacement chassis - an identical one ie a Buffallo Linkstation Duo - is it as simple as that?Would my PC and everything simply pick up the NAS drive as usual? Or is it more complex than that?Any help much appreciated.

I have a 1st gen sonos bridge and need to replace lost power supply (DC 5V 2A). I have an adjustable power supply with different adapters/plug so the right one fits the bridge. When mounting the adapter I must choose wether the center should be positive or negative. Do any of you know which is correct?

I’ve changed my WiFi network and moved te music library to a NAS drive.  Sonos app can not find any hardware 

 I’ve just setup my arc ultra,2x era300 subwhen I go to YouTube to do a 5.1 surround sound test. Nothing is hear out of the rear era300what am I missing ty

I hear random clicks an pops while watching tv

Good Evening,I hope someone can advise. I have 2 x play 3 speakers and 2 x play 1 speakers.All were working perfectly . There was a recent software update and the play 1’s are fine. Since the update both my play 3 speakers are popping and crackling randomly at any volume and are very distorted. I have tried them separately and as a stereo pair. I have turned the bass and treble down and turned the loudness off. I have done a factory reset twice but to no avail. I have raised a case with Sonos diagnostics and they have said that it is a hardware fault if I have done a factory reset and it has not rectified the problem. I said that it is very strange that both speakers have failed at the very same moment in time with a hardware failure and he agreed but said that is what it is and offered the 15% upgrade. Any advice suggestions would be much appreciated. I love the speakers and don’t want to throw them away and buy new. Thanks

Hi,I’ve bought my wife two of the Era 100s to add to my old (basically unused) Sonos system (4xV2 devices) so that we can use Bluetooth to enjoy music (bypassing the Sonos app). However, I can’t add them, the update fails with error 30 (as in this question).The speaker is sat on my desk, metres away from the router. There is only a USB cable, so wiring in is not possible without an adaptor. There is also no option to submit anything as per advice in that post, only to “Try again”.I have attempted factory resets, running the setup with and without the microphone (which I’d far rather didn’t exist), but it fails at the same point whatever I do. Since I bought two of these, I’ve tried both and it’s the same deal. I have a network firewall, so I can see that my phone successfully

I just bought a new sonos speaker the Era 100, i already had the Sonos One gen2, when i try to set an alarm from the app it immediately cancels out, not even a nanosecond and it’s gone idk what’s wrong.i bought the a new Era 100 and same issue with the sono one gen 2 i don’t even know what’s wrong to say im speechless. i have tried everything resetting the speakers the app everything.

Hi group,I bought a Beam gen2 and a pair of Era 100’s a year ago.  The wifi network setup went well and the Era 100’s were added as surrounds.  After some time they stopped working.  I factory reset the Era 100’s and re-added them but they would no longer work as surrounds.I found advice on Reddit that said this functionality was corrupted by a firmware update (no specifics given) and was now a common problem.  Further advice recommended connecting the Beam to ethernet and disabling wifi on the Beam which I did.  As proof of concept I did this by running a long ethernet cable down the stairs and across my living room to the Beam.  With the Beam on ethernet and the Era 100’s on wifie the Era 100’s would connect as surrounds.  If I re-enabled wifi on the Beam the surrounds would disconnect.Since I can’t have wired network where I use the Sonos system I can no longer have surround presumably until the broken firmware is fixed.I’m open to ideas and suggestion

Can I use Pandora or Spotify?
