Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I do reboot my wifi system on a weekly basis on 2 am (there is a feature within the deco). I have 6 deco devices spread over the house. After each restart some sonos speaker are unavailable and all ungrouped. Alarm does not work at all. After few hours!!! most of the speaker recover by themself, some manual handling is allways required.

Spotify doesnt connect to sonos system. I have an arc an sub and 2 are 100's. Its an expensive system.Its been going on for a couple of weeks. When i power off the router and turn it back on it works again til i use my tv again and im unable to reconnect to the speakers. Its been point out multiple times by the community and also on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/sonos/s/kmnD6vGcHx The lack of a response from sonos is just unheard off. Its an premium and expensive System they should fix this issue sooner than later. Same with the apple music that cant connection they obviously have an IT / IP-DNS issue and should write a statement to there users instead of this hide and seek stuff.  52 reply's on reddit with users with issues. I noticed that since the latest update, press and hold play now does not work on favorites. It works on everything else. Tapping once on favorites still works.

I have an android (15) phone. I had a system set up at the old house with no issues. We just moved, and when I attempt to set up with the new network, I keep being told I need to update the app. But when I go to the play store, there isn’t a new version, and doesn’t appear to be anywhere I can update anything at all (only the options to open or uninstall, I already uninstalled and reinstalled). Can I fix this, or is my investment up in smoke?

My SONOS MOVE just randomnly started to malfunction. It turns itself ON at any time. After tunring it off, in less than 10 minutes it will be on again.It was working just fine, I’ve had it for a couple of years now, but suddenly it started with this thing… Happens on bluetooth and over wifi. I was recommended to turn it into “deep sleep” which is simply ridiculous, as I use it regularly. I recently upgraded to the new iPhone 17 and updated to the iOS 26 public/stable release. I’ve had a Sonos Beam 2 all of 3 days and am wondering if I’ve made a mistake. I would have expected a pretty slick experience yet it seems the simple task of getting BBC radio to work is an utter PITA.After faffing on correcting my country etc to get it to let me setup the service I thought all was good. I asked Sonos to play BBC Radio 2 and it worked, same with Radio 4. This worked fine for a couple of days. Now suddenly though I’ve changed nothing I’m now just met with silence.I can manually get the station to play via the Sonos App, however if I use Sonos Voice it fails, having looked in the app I can see its selected the requested station but then says ‘unknown content’ and is trying to play it through TuneIn. I’ve no idea why it’s suddenly started doing this when it was working perfectly?I found another thread explaining a convoluted way to get it to work with Alexa, but I don’t want to use that and frankly if it can't process a basic voice command like this I’ll be sending it ba

Anyway to use one Sonos amp to play different music in separate rooms at the same time?

Any chance to repair it by SONOS ?Before you start to blame my network (like I’ve seen this mostly on this forum) check this :  any chance to write a firmware in normal way  or should I get rid of sonos and buy something which works …? 

HelloI use my Beam 2 and my Era 300 (a second Era 300 is planned soon) to listen to music and watch TV. However, I use them differently depending on the situation: to listen to TV, I use the system with 75% on the Beam and 25% on the Era 300. Whereas to listen to music, it's more like 55% on the Beam and 45% on the Era.Can we create profiles for this?Thanks

Yesterday when I tried to play BBC Radio 3, I got the message “cannot play BBC Radio 3” . It was the same for all BBC channels. Any ideas?

I have a “problem “ with my Sonos arc ultra : every time when i turn off my tv I still hear on the soundbar the sound of another tv channel for  30 seconds, every time its the sound of same tv channel , I don’t understand what is the problem, where I’m wrong, can someone tell me what to do? Regardless of which TV channel I watched, after turning off the TV, the sound of the same channel can still be heard 30 seconds from my Sonos arc ultra sound bar , after 30 seconds sound it’s gone and silence. 

I recently got two Era 100’s as a gift. I live in an apartment complex that uses wirestar internet as a community wide internet service. There is one network “Wirestar - Secure” that everyone uses but each unit has its own unique password. I’ve connected and reconnected my era 100’s many times and I have issues with the app. A lot of the time the app shows there is no system on my WiFi. Sometimes it connects and gives an error when trying to play music. Sometimes it will start to play music and then I lose control over volume or pause/play. I do not have access to my WiFi portal to look at the settings. What can I do to get this to work?

I have two SONOS ERA 100 speakers connected via Wi-Fi, but the connection is disrupted, possibly due to the speakers being far apart. (about 10m)My question is, if I connect one speaker wirelessly and the other with an audio cable, will it be possible to synchronize the two?

Hi all. I have just got my new 4k player, having looked at the back of it, it has holes for putting the audio straight into the back of it, is it better to connect my sonos setup directly to this or not? It is currently setup via the tv so would it make any difference changing it to the 4k player? Thanks for any advice all much appreciated 😊👍

I cannot get BBC radio 2 through the Sonos app today 

I have recently changed 2 Sonos 3 speakers to Era 300 speakers to be used for line in to play vinyl.i had no issues with the Sonos 3’s but wanted an upgrade.since I’ve changed speakers when I play vinyl the sound is terrible and distorted.play Spotify or apple music and the Sonos fantastic.I have followed the advice from two different Sonos technicians over the phone and have rebooted the system and changed the RCA cables from my port to my mixer.i have two Techniks 1200 turntables and a mixer and a port.Have checked all cables and WiFi etc and tried changing level port settings but all to no avail 🤯any advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. 

Goodmorning,I’m a bit surprised that out of the blue, my Sonos One (only a few years old) apparently, according to Sound Repair Belgium, has a burned audio chip and is unrepairable. Is this a common thing ? I have quite a few Sonos speakers and after the hassle of the last year (software), I was not really prepared to see hardware problems showing up. Since Sound Repair is not returning the unit, I was wondering if I could get some kind of commercial compensation to replace one or more units and just as important, could it happen to other Sonos devices too ?In the meantime, we keep struggling with the app, lot of interruptions, especially when changing songs lead to fall out on many devices (up to two minutes to get everything back in sync).Best regards,Vincent Verraest

Awful. Speakers, Sub, AMP - disappear like magic. Factory reset all products, create a new account, get verified. Sign in, then unstoppable loop, can’t sign in, nothing will attach. Pulling speakers wires now sounds so easy. Worst product I’ve ever purchased. Works 30% of the time. What a hassle   

Is anyone else experiencing Sonos May 2024 Deja Vu?TuneIn podcasts haven't been working for close to a month, with apparently no sense of urgency to get this fixed.Now a new update adds steps to the simplest of functions (change the radio station, switch from one speaker zone to another - why more steps??).Just when I was thinking Sonos had stabilized it is eroding again. 

I have quite a few playlists saved in the Sonos app. Most include tracks I searched and saved from Napster to my Sonos playlist. A few days ago, none of those tracks would play. An error message ‘lost connection to Napster’ would pop up and every Napster-derived track would be skipped over until the Sonos app reached a track sourced from a different streaming service. I did the usual stuff — cut the Napster connection, rebooted everything, reauthorized Napster, yadda yadda.Nothing worked. Hi everyone,I prefer wired connections where possible, but of course that’s not always feasible.There are also situations, where Wi-Fi can't (mobile, or not disableable) or shouldn't (soundbar and surrounds/sub) be disabled.If I’m not mistaken, mixed setups should be avoided, as they can lead to issues or at least additional complexity (IGMP-Snooping, STP, BPDU handling...).In environments with home theater and other speakers, it would be great if one could use Ethernet and configure Wi-Fi to be used only for the dedicated link between a soundbar and surrounds/sub (since that has latency advantages, right?).Or, if SonosNet-capable devices that use Wi-Fi could be prevented from using SonosNet.But as far as I know, neither of this is currently possible - right?Or better completely ditch Ethernet and just go full Wi-Fi?Appreciate any input in advance!Cheers, Martin
