Just purchased an LG OLED B5. I have a slight hearing impairment and routinely listed through my Sennheiser RF 175 headphones(connected to tv through Optical).

However, at times I would like to have my guests get audio from my Arc setup, connected through eARC.

Is there a device that would allow both audio sources to work simultaneously?

TIA

I have no experience with them but there are eARC audio extractors that might work for you, check past posts or wait for one of the folks with experience to respond.

In general (depending on how the TV manufacturer has implemented ARC/eARC, they turn off (as I recall, part of the specification) for any other digital output. I can make assumptions why, but you probably want to ask LG’s Customer Service. Sonos is implemented as a receiver (end point) of ARC/eARC, and doesn’t have any ‘choice’ as to what the CEC computer in your TV is doing.

The Sonos solution for this problem are the Ace headphones, that connect to the soundbar, not the TV.

If tne Ace allowed shared audio it would be an option but it forces the choice between the soundbar being active and the Ace being active, both is not an option.

I face the same issues, soundbar too loud for guests but I can hear dialog  or too quiet for me to understand but good for the guests. Wife loves the Ace BUT ONLY IF she isn't interested in hearing the program, which is actually quite common.
