Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hello, I have this problem...I have a Tidal account connected to the Sonos app (android + ios), but my playlists that I created in Tidal are no longer showing.What could be the problem?Everything is showing, only the playlists are not loading....the info appears: something went wrong...I cleared the cache in the apps and re-authorized the Tidal account...but to no avail, the playlists are still not showing.Thanks for the reply.P.

This issue is limited to the live Apple Music radio stations - Apple Music 1, Club, Chill, etc. I haven't been able to get them to play for a few weeks now. They used to work fine.The track ID comes through as “unknown content” and nothing plays. Sometimes I get an error saying that it is not encoded properly, but not always.  Today when I tested, Apple Music 1 played through one of my Play 5s, but not through any other speaker, while the app filled with error message pop ups. The other stations refused to play at all.  Is this a known issue? 

Just purchased a pair of Sonos Era 100's and I have a Brennan B2. The idea to transfer my cd collection to the B2 and use the Sonos speakers wirelessly to listen to my collection. Quite honestly I cannot get both the Sonos and Brennan apps to work as they should. Yes, all is on the same network but the music library will not transfer from windows to the Sonos. The wifi keeps dropping out on the Sonos and for some reason the Sonos app will only play one song at at time. I am wondering if I have made an expensive mistake.

I went to add a new speaker to my Sonos app today, this tells me I need to update the appThe new app update on iOS is only available to iOS 17 and above which my iPhone X doesn't supportI just bought an era100 and cannot add it to the app because the app is forcing an update to allow me to add a speaker - the not now button simply cancels the add speaker option.this is absolute bull, so now Sonos require me to get a new phone to add a speaker to their app? im sure I'm not the only person affected but probably one of the first since most won't notice in day to day use right now, but this is bull

I have a gen 2 beam paired with a Era 300. During playback from my hisense TV I occasionally get a popping sound from the Era 300. Has anyone else had this issue?

Sonos MoveYTM playing, music stops, I look in app, its still playing (seconds advancing).  I try and control the music, skip track, anything, eventually I get an error, then the Move drops off the app, then comes back again with a blank playlist.Zero pings dropped to the Move at network layer.Happened for the past couple weeks, rebooted etc, happens randomly, and seeminly only on the Move but then again I only really use that speaker consitently so not certain its isolated.  Same with YTM, not certain its related, but I have a feeling it is.Diag: ******** Moderator Note: Recorded and removed diagnostic number. Is anybody else experiencing certain Dolby Atmos music tracks where you can barely hear the vocals? I have come across this quite often recently with Dire Straits Sultans of Swing being the most recent. Could this be a Sonos issue with playback of certain songs where the vocals practically disappear? I can't imagine Mark Knopfler approving the release of this song sounding this way. Any thoughts or feedback?

A while ago I created this post: This is still a problem. For several games, if not all games, the volume is not how it should be. In the game Metaphor, dialoge form the sides are much louder than from the center. In other games, certain sounds seem too loud. These problems are especially bad when using Dolby Atmos on PS5, but also a problem in Linear PCM, in some cases just as bad like with the Metaphor example. I have tried several combinations without luck. This is not an issue with the TV or PS5 because this is not an issue with the TV audio. I am using passthrough on the TV and device type soundbar on PS5, but tested multiple combinations. Do I have a faulty Arc Ultra? I’m only using the Arc Ultra with my LG C4 TV, no sub or other speakers. I find it odd I can’t find anyone else reporting this. Edit: I think the

The Sonos app will not find or recognize my Beam.  I’ve tried everything that I know.  This is so frustrating.  I was about to drop another $2K on more Sonos products.  Not now!  I’M GOING TO PURCHASE THEIR COMPETITORS PRODUCT. YOU SHOULD CONSIDER THE SAME.  Companies that make customers jump through hoops and still leave them with unresolved issues eventually go out of business.  Sonos is on there way down that trail.

I’m having real connection issues with my Sonos System. This weekend went to use it and only had my Move speaker connected to my app. All my other speakers we showing ‘Not Connected’ in the Settings page.I had restarted to reboot each individual speaker, doing a reset and then adding it to the system. After adding a couple of speakers, suddenly everything was working. They all appeared under my app.Lasted for about 5 minutes and now they have disappeared again apart from my Move speaker and showing ‘Not Connected’.Have rebooted my router and no joy. I have a Deco mesh system but have removed my Sonos Boost a few months back as it was my understanding that a Boost was not required. Has been working fine until recently.Any suggestions? Is there an update that has thrown the system?Thanks

I am considering getting rid of my sonos system due to it’s very poor response. Having invested in the system I am loath to change everything. My Play 3’s are hardwired, whilst the Play 1’s and the soundbar are wireless. Android app can take minutes to fully start up where I can control the system, the lag on volume control is appalling. my wireless runs at 380mbps so it isn’t slow, each sonos has a fixed IP

Can someone help me reconnect my Roam? After switching internet provides, I haven’t been able to connect my speaker to Spotify. I have restarted and deleted the app. I have turned off the speaker, unselected it from bluetooth. I have restarted and restarted until I am now on this community asking for help.

My Sonos Ace Headphones will not connect consistently with the App on my brand new Oppo Reno13 phone. I have retuned 2 previous pairs of headphones with the same problem. The current (3rd pair) at least connected with my Oppo to allow an update but now will not reconnect. Bluetooth pairing works fine, it’s just the app which I unfortunately need to listen to Spatial Audio (Atmos) through my streaming service. It is extremely frustrating as Spatial audio is the primary reason I bought the headphones. I have the same problem on my old Oppo phone and also a really old Samsung S9. I have tried everything suggested in similar threads such as re-pairing, factory resetting the headphones, clearing the cache, rebooting the phone, tried Sonos support 4 separate times and all combinations of the above. The only thing I haven’t been able to do is connecting via an iOS device as I don’t have access. I cannot believe that I am alone in this problem with Android but all I can find online is peopl

I have updated SONOS, TIDAL, rebooted my router, uninstalled and reinstalled both, and still no solution. I have not re-authorized TIDAL because that selection isn’t available on my app. I am really close to closing my account and going elsewhere, especially when there is no human customer support.Any suggestions? Note, the Windows desktop app works fine. TIA. 

I have a full set up in my living room and I have just no go an arc set up for another room wort 4 gen2 and a gen 3 sub but it won’t set up as a separate system on same WiFi, done everything it’s asked but it just won’t find the new system any of it. 

Dialogues in my sonos playbar sound metallic, like an old radio.

I recently purchased a Sony QN65QN70F TV.I also have an AppleTV 4K and Sonos Beam 1st Gen.I currently have everything connected as follows: AppleTV → Samsung TV → Sonos Beam.I am pretty sure the AppleTV 4K supports Dolby Atmos.The TV does not.The Beam does not.My question is, if I upgrade to to Sonos Beam Gen 2 will I get Dolby Atmos out of it, or is the Samsung TV going to keep that from happening.Thanks in advance…..Bob

Pocket Casts not showing any podcasts and when I try a reauthorize it says check the internet connection.  There’s a Reddit thread with several reporting the same issue. 

Is there a quicker way for the app (android or PC) to speedy up the scanning of a music library on a NAS on my home network, or are there any plans for Sonos to change the way to access this content?I have a reasonably large music collection (nearly 60,000 tracks over 4,000+ folders), if I push new audio up to the NAS, I need the app to rescan the content before I can play it.  About 20 minutes each time (if I’m lucky).  Isn’t is about time this element of the app is rewritten so it works more like a File Explorer/My Files type of program?  You just upload, drill down to the content and it’s visible instantly?  (And yes, I do know you can set the Music Library to update overnight.)It’s 2025.  It’s bonkers having to do this nonsense.

Hi everyone. Please excuse me I am not very technically minded just need a little help. I am replacing my era 100 (2 of them) with era 300. Do I just need to add them to my existing system & then follow the app instructions? Many thanks for your help & any info you think  might help would be great. Question: How do I keep my line-in audio source playing to the entire house while flipping a record instead of having it disconnect from the Sonos group? I recently switched my turntable (AT-LP60XBT) from a Bluetooth connection to a line-in connection. (After adding a couple more speakers around the house the BT connection was starting to fail and drop speakers off, I assume due to the delay.)(With the line in 3.5 to USB-C)When I start a record, the music automatically comes out of my era 100 fine. I then go in the app and select the rest of the house, which plays fine. Almost 100% of the time, when the record stops and needs to be flipped, the audio reverts back to only the Era 100 that the line in is plugged into. This is complicated by the fact that in the app, the line in is still connected to the entire house (5 speakers) and does not update. Hi everyone,I can’t find the way to have two different systems on my house. I’ve read some posts, buy they are not exactly what i Want to do.I want a System A with a Play 1 and a Play 5 with a turntable, they are streaming from a NAS A.I want a System B with several Connect and Amp, they are streaming from a NAS B.Today, everything is in the App, but I want to isolate the system A to it’s own phone App et system B too.What is the correct way to do it ? Create a second account with another email ? Using another wifi network ?I’m lost.Thanks in adavnceJerome
