Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

As of a couple days ago I can no longer connect to PLEX.   I get“Something went wrong. Try Again” when click on artists from my favoritesand“No content items available” when clicking on Plex iconI can cast to my sonos speakers from the Plex app (not plexamp) on my computer.If gone through all the suggested steps I could find from the internet.  I guess my question is to see if anyone else is experiencing it or if it's just me (and for how long).  If its everyone, then hopefully its (another) screw up and they’ll get around to fixing it eventually. super frustrating that something that has worked for years just stopped working especially when its the reason I went with Sonos.

Following a network change in my house, my entire Sonos system disconnected, and it is impossible for me to reconnect it.I tried everything, delete the system, recreate a new one, disconnect and even return to the old network but impossible. Each time, the application can no longer detect my system or at least connect. Because I have a message telling me that it has found a system on this network, but as soon as I click to connect the application tells me that it is connected to the system, but it never appears in the application. As if it had never happened?Could you help me please

hi all,i bought my Sonos ace a couple of weeks ago, and update with the new firmware.when i used it with my phone or laptop via bluetooth the sound is realy pretty good, but unfortunately via swap tv is realy "meh " ... even with true cinema enabled ... volume is too low at 60% ( wich is the base volume setting when you swap to the tv ) and i need to turn up the volume at 90% to ear something "acceptable" to my ears .. and no, i'm not deaf.i tried to reset my Ace twice and update also all my speakers system to the last firmware version ( beam gen1, sub gen3, 2x one SL ) and also my ace with the latest fiirmware but nothing changed. 😞 what should i do? 

For four years since I installed the Arc and Sub, I have controlled the volume of the Arc with the Cox remote control, and the volume of the TV speakers never changed, always muted. This morning the TV volume started changing when the remote was used to adjust the Arc (home theatre) volume. I have no idea what may have changed.Even more frustrating and confusing is the TV speakers do not always change. The volume changes sometimes, not every time.The ARC is connected to the TV via the ARC output.Any ideas?

Hi ! My soundbar made a quick repeatable sound and after a few seconds a very annoying and loud sound at about one second and till then I have no sound .i have a soundbar (arc ultra black), 2 Era 300, and a sub woofer . I have a 7.5.1 system !  do anybody knows what happened!  

Every time I connect my headphones via bluetooth for a call on Google Meet the mic either just doesn’t work or my input audio cuts in and out for the first 5 minutes of the call. All the output audio is fine. I’ve checked both the settings in Google Meet and the system settings and everything looks fine. When I connect via USB it works fine. It’s very frustrating. Any ideas? 

I have an install with a Samsung TV, Arc ultra, sonos amp with 2 ceiling mounted surround speakers. I can use the rear speakers when playing through the Sonos app but no sound from the rear with TV usage. I thought I would hear surround sound. Thoughts/help appreciated

FYI, I streamed Apple Music Lossless content for eight (8) hours today in three (3) rooms grouped as you can see in the picture below. My network is an Asus Wi-Fi 7 AiMesh built around an Asus GT-BE98 Pro and Asus RT-96U x 2 over a wired backhaul. If you are having issues streaming Apple Music short of a server issue, outage identified by Sonos or defective speaker then it’s your network that needs attention. 

Hey allheres the go, I’ve got a Ray, Sonos 1 and play 3 that are all connected to the same network and running fine.  The issue I have is that the Ray is plugged via optical cable into the tv and when watching the TV if you want to play music elsewhere in the house on the play1 or 3 when you open the app and change the speaker, the tv playback disconnects.  Note, I am not grouping speakers. I am trying to play music on another speaker while the tv sound is playing.  Any suggestions on how to change speakers without disturbing others? cheers 

Recently my Sonos system started having major issues (suspect from an EERO update) where the speakers were slow to start, then would cut out and music volume would go up and down.   EERO says to connect all wireless which was my setup, but I went ahead and turned on SonosNet, and all issues stopped.   So I’m not setup opposite contrary to EERO recommendations.  Does anyone have insight into this?  I tried questioning on the EERO site and only get the recommendation to turn off SonosNet.

I'm Prakash. I'm having some trouble adding or removing a specific music service, like Apple Music, from my Sonos account. I've been trying to do it through the app, but it's not working as smoothly. I have a Play:1 small Sonos speaker which I listen to constantly with the radio on.Several times a day at the moment, it goes suddenly silent and when I go into the Sonos app on my phone, it says Sonos cannot connect to the speaker. Typically aftrer a few seconds or minutes, it reappears in the app and I can press Play to get it to start playing again.This speaker is unusual on my network because it’s a newer bluetooth-enabled one. My other Sonos speakers are older (10+ years, I think).It’s extremely annoying that it keeps disconnecting. How can I troubleshoot this problem? I’m no kind of wifi or router expert so I’ll need things explained in simple language please.My WiFi system is an Aginet TP-Link mesh router that I can see via an Aginet app on my phone. In this app I can see the speaker listed, but it keeps appearing and disappearing. It actually disappears in the app far more often than it goes silent. Sonos S1siPad Pro OS 18.6.2iPhone 16 OS 18.6.2Linksys Velop Mesh network (Nodes: MX5500GC x 2  , WHW03, WHW03CF, WHW01)I had this multiple times, periodically one device usually iPhone will lose connectivity to the Sonos install. Today I managed to get it to find it by forgetting the network and rejoining it; simple as that! It has been bugging me for months. I use a Linksys Velop mesh network, and Sonos is on the 5gHz separated network (2.4 and 5 gHz have different SSIDs). I guess it could mean that the specific node that Sonos is on was different from the iPhone, maybe the mesh does not broadcast the settings effectively across all nodes???

I have a Cambridge Audio AX C25 which I have connected to an Era 100. I am connecting via an official Sonos line-in converter and a brand new rca cable. When I play a brand new disc, the sound is all distorted. i have also tried using a passive volume control and also a preamp but the distortion remains. Also I have adjusted the line-in levels and this makes no difference. Im out of ideas on what to try next. 

Hi everyone,I needed to change my network router as we have a new TP Link Deco mesh system.This required me to set up my Sonos network again.I set up my Playbar, Play 1 and Synfonisk speaker on the same Sonos system using the S1 app.So far so good.I then wanted to set up my Roam speaker. So I used the new Sonos app for this, and set up a new system as the S1 isn’t compatible with this speaker.I then (foolishly) decided that I wanted to add my Play 1 speaker to the same system as the Roam, as the Play 1 is compatible with the S1 and new Sonos apps. So I went through the upgrade process for the Play 1 and added it to the system associated with the new Sonos app.Then I realised this actually wasn’t what I really wanted after all.I therefore followed the ‘downgrade’ process in the new Sonos app, and downgraded the Play 1 to be compatible with the S1 app again.However, I can’t now add it into the S1 app as I keep getting the same ‘Sonos app needs updating’ message that other people have men

Will the case ever be available to purchase online? Seems really weird that we pay a premium for these headphones and yet there’s no option to purchase the case? I travel for work weekly to various cities and countries, and this is the second time I’ve left the case on a plane. I know it’s my fault. I have no problem purchasing a new case, but I can’t as they aren’t being sold.  I did contact customer support, haven’t had a response to my latest email which I sent last week. Can anyone please recommend a case which fits the headphones but also isn’t breaking the bank, as I will undoubtedly leave it on a plane again in the future! (sorry for the typo in the title)

Anyone else having issues with volume. Sometimes I have to set volume to 84 just to hear faint sound???   

So, i installed qobuzz app on my Hisense android tv. The tv is connected to my sonos arc by hdmi / e-arc.  when i did that, the TV up in my desktop/phone as a qobuz connect device (in addition to tv w/ google cast). and i am able to play on my sonos speaker through the “tv” connect. We know that Qobuz cannot connect to Sonos devices directly. (please!) The TV and the qobuz app says hi res music when playing on the Tv app. It plays through the Sonos Arc fine and sounds great.  Now, on the sonos app nothing is displayed as music or anything qobuz or controllable music for that speaker, as its says its gray TV Audio / HDMI / stereo PCM. As if the tv is playing audio.  How confident can i be that Sonos speaker is actually receiving and playing hi res audio from Qobuz android tv? Want to make sure the Sonos speaker is not downsampling it somehow.  I know i can control Qobuz from the Sonos app (its installed) but the Sonos app is not great to use, and it does not connect/sync with the Qobuz

In moving, there is a black clip in back of sonos in optical hole that connects to the cable. In that hole is a black piece of plastic I think responsible for a tight connection.  Mine broke and need repair.  Best Buy and a few other sources say send back to Sonos and they can help. Anyone have this issue before? Is this monitored by their team? How do I get touch with them if they dont reply here?

How come my Sonos app says that my two speakers and sub are not connected but I CAN play Spotify through them through the Spotify app ??

Hello everyone,Lately, I've noticed the volume level seems lower when integrating Sonos and Spotify. I've tested this on several Era 100s, Fives, and Sonos Ones, and I find myself needing to increase the volume significantly compared to last week. Do you know if there have been any recent changes to the Spotify integration volume? This occurs whether using Spotify Connect and the Sonos app. Do you have the same feeling?

Not sure about others, but this mass “upgrade” did a doosey on my system. Beam randomly stopped working, so I investigated and ended up updating most of my devices and the app.  Some of it had to be done twice and the Beam would not show up at all.  I power cycled and updated again.  Then I got Beam system showing up multiple times but marked disconnected.  After a while it seemed to solve itself.  now the system operates again (this took about 30 minutes- and I’ve not tried the TV, which is another story...).  Now, when I use the system the beam system volume often does not show up if I stream locally, The slow start to restoring the previous local NAS streaming shuffle is broken and only plays one song.  Also, you now have to go down and additional level to do so- and yes, when I try some functions, I get “something went wrong.  Try again.”.  Are others experiencing similar problems?

Until recently my music folder was fully accessible, but now I have no access to the folder unless I switch off the Private network Firewall.This seems to have happen following a controller update.The Sonos Desktop controller and Library service have both been allowed in the firewall settings, but unless the firewall is switched off the library is unavailable.I have restored the Firewall to default settings and let the Sonos controller request the  changes it wants but that has not helped.What other actions are required to enable the controller to see the library which is in the music folder on the same PC.  Sonos is no longer a friendly system to use. I really shouldn’t need a degree in computing to be able to use Sonos products.Any help would be welcome 

I set 1 alarm on my Sonos Port. On at 10:30am, off at 9:00pm. Lately it just makes the chime/bong sound and I have to log into it to tell it to play the music I selected. This shouldn’t be something I have to check daily.
