Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

S1 suddenly saying 4 of 7 speakers are incompatible.  2x Play:5 & Connect:Amp ok.Playbar, Sub & 2x Play:1 now incompatible.  Was all working fine yesterday.   

I have just setup an arc ultra and have added my existing fives as surrounds…..my question is when I play Spotify, all speakers, arc and fives play music…..I don’t want that, I just want the music to come out of the fives

I am adding my voice, again, to the many frustrated users who cannot understand the complete lack of interest from Sonos in fixing this issue. It was working in the old Sonos app, it should not be hard to fix it.

Recently got the Arc Ultra with 2 Era 300s for surrounds and a Sub Mini and just couldn't get the sound right, it was just off no matter how much I fiddled around.Not so much an issue for TV where there's hardly any Atmos stuff on offer anyway really, but a major issue for music as I listen to heaps of Atmos music via the Apple Music app.So I ran a Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 calibration track and wow, both the height and surround levels were *way* too loud with the volume sliders set to zero in the app. Like, quite ridiculously so. Sound from the height speakers was 2-3 times as loud as from the front with Height Volume set to zero. When I turned the sliders all the way to the *minimum* possible (minus 10 for height, minus 15 for surround) everything became much more balanced although the front surrounds are still a bit too loud. Listening to Atmos source material sounded so much better after that.Is this a known issue or is my Arc Ultra faulty? Wondering if I need to contact CS.

Hi. I have a constant problem connecting the sonos ace to the sonos beam gen 2. The headphones connect only once, after a complete restart of both devices and then never again. I don't know what to do, the app keeps writing me an error and asks me if I have both products turned on, even though the app itself clearly sees that both are on and connected. On its own, everything works without any problems, just connecting the headphones to the soundbar using the volume control button or the app constantly reports an error. Thank you for the adviceHi. One of my ZonePlayer ZP120s has started buzzing and crackling through the speakers.I’ve swapped it with my other one and there is no fault and the faulty one connected to the good ones speakers has the buzzing fault so it’s the amp itself that is faulty.I’m in the UK is the Amp repairable locally or does it have to be returned to Zonos in the USA?Can I buy a new one my system is still gen one, so i’d need a compatible product.

my connect amp has been temperamental, but has more or less functioned as i wanted since the initial purchase in 2018. i use it to stream music to old analog bookshelf speakers.it went beyond temperamental and stopped being recognized by the sonos app about 6 weeks ago. i’ve been fiddling around with it, on and off since then. i deleted then reinstalled the sonos app, performed a factory reset numerous times and attempted to log onto my wifi network several times. i have been able to get to the point in the sonos app where i can enter the password. i can see the correct network, i input the correct password, but sonos cannot get on the network.i have seen suggestions to make changes to my network for the sonos. i have five other devices on my network, so i am reluctant to make any router changes for the sonos.i’m thinking, that maybe, i had a lightning surge 6 weeks ago, and that maybe something on the sonos got surged and that is what is preventing it’s entrance to wifi network.this c

In the Sonos app I get AppleMusic but when selecting e.g. a song I get “No items available”.I have deleted and reinstalled the Sonos app, restarted my iPhone, reinstalled the speakers and re-authorised the app for AppleMusic (three times). What next? Does anyone have a solution please?

Hi as per title - Is anyone having problem with Apple Music Recently Added? I'm getting Something went wrong. Try again.I normally use this ‘feature’ a lot I add new music in Apple Music app and then switch to Sonos to play it. I’ve been away a few days and just got back and I’m now getting this error. Everything else is OK. I tried removing and re adding service but same error. I’ve log the problem with Sonos support. Thanks

Hi everyone, I just wanted to be completely sure about this, otherwise I will likely return my speakers. I have 2 era 100's and a Beam Gen 2 in a bedroom. I bought these speakers so I could group them together and play the same audio from my TV through all speakers. I don't want to use them as surround sound. The era 100s have been cutting in and out when using the TV, but not if I play music through my phone via the Sonos app. The nice gentleman in Sonos chat said I'm unable to group with TV audio. Something about the beam having to sync and relay tv audio to the era's causes the drop outs. Is this correct? I've seen others here say they put speakers in separate rooms that play TV audio, so I'm just a bit confused. Thanks!

My speaker was connected and working fine a month ago, when I tried to use it again recently it wasn't letting me connect. I tried to go into settings but it was telling me I wasn't the system owner (I am and this is my only email connected to sonos)?I tried rebooting the speaker completely disconnecting it for 30 seconds etc etc so I could just connect it to a new system- which I did but now it's giving me an error (1067 NOT 1066) saying it can't update my speaker. I haven't found any details on this error or how to even begin to fix it. 

I have an issue where my Arc setup starts resetting its volume to 15, and won’t go past 15. It happens when audio is being sent via my BenQ TK860 projector.It happens every now and again, and rebooting/reinstalling hasn’t fixed it. I’ve read several posts that this could be a sign of device failure, and I should reach out to Sonos support.I started a chat and was directly told that Sonos “does not support projectors” - is this true? The projector has a standard eARC HDMI output. I can’t find any reference on the Sonos website that projectors are not supported, only that you need eARC.ThanksTom

I have a Sonos Amp powering 4 Sonance in wall hidden speakers as well a Sonos Mini Sub.  I can add the sub to my Sonos system, but when I add the sub to my Amp it will not play along. After about 30 seconds it will say Sub not connected. I then have to remove it from the system and reinstall it, before it can be used again. If I add it to my Arc ultra, the sub works just fine.  All components are updated to latest firmware. How can I add my sub to the Sonos Amp? 

Hi, I lost sound the other night from my beam. I turned the TV on and off and it came back for 5 mins but has now stopped again. I have checked all settings, factory reset the TV and beam. Changed the HDMI cable. The TV is seeing the beam as I have the icons when I turn it up and down there is just no sound coming out. The TV works through internal speakers and the beam works if I stream to it. It is also seeing the TV as in the volume it says HDMI TV. I have turned everything on and off and now I am just at a loss. Could the TV just not be putting out sound?

The system continually defaults to the bedroom which is the room I use the least. I always have to switch it back to living room before I can listen in the living room. How can I fix it so that it does not default to the bedroom? Do I always have to Go and choose the room I want to listen to even though I want it to default to the living room or whichever room I was using last?

The problem with my Sonos Play:1 speaker is that it doesn’t perform a factory reset, it doesn’t connect through the Sonos app, and it doesn’t work when I try using an Ethernet cable. No matter what I do, it doesn’t respond or connect properly.

Hi, I am having an issue with YT Music, it was connected fine but the playlist wasn't sync'd and I tried removing and adding it back but now it shows no playlists and can't find ANY songs on YT Music. There are no errors, I tried unplugging the speakers, deleting the app and reinstalling it, rebooting my router and wifi, nothing works. I tried using a non premium account (just to see if it worked), it also doesn't work. I was wondering if there is a way to see logs so that I may see why it doesn't work? YT Music on my phone or computer work fine.

Recently we upgraded our wifi network. Havent had the need to use the sonos app for a bit.When I logged in, the subsequent screens were exceptionally grainy to the point I cant use the app.Deleted it and re-installed no change.Restarted the phone, no change.Am I doing something wrong, or the the whole App now flaky?TIA

Is it just my system or has the fade out facility when listening to a playlist disappeared.  Surely not? I think it enhances the listening experience if one song fades into another.ThanksTag

We've installed hundreds of Sonos Ports, used as both an input, output, or both.Today at a customers we had the following occurrence when adding a Port (to their existing system) which is completely different to what we've experienced before.System:Living room - Amp Snug - Arc, Amp, Sub Kitchen - Amp (New zone) Streamer - Port with turntable as an input Sonos port added, updated, configured & turntable plugged in correctly. If you wanted to listen to the turntable in the living room; you'd select Living Room as the zone, then select line in > Streamer - Turntable as the source, but when selecting this, the source wouldn't change.Sonos support said that the Port zone has to be grouped with the zone where you want the line in source playing.We're pretty sure that was never the case but further testing proved it to be the only way it would work on this system.  Any thoughts?

Hi All,Woke this morning to find that if I search an Artist and go to choose them from Qobuz, I get 'No selections are available' - this only affects the search. I can choose Qobuz from my services & all my favourites are there and play perfectly. This only affects Qobuz, Spotify etc show results as usual.Have rebooted the router, no change. Re authorised Qobuz, still no difference. Any ideas? I'm still running S2 16.1 (no intention of updating currently) 

I am very disappointed by the long lasting ´alarm issue ´ and I’m sure not the only one.  What do you suggest ? BR,A tiny client of Sonos…
