"unable to browse music"
We've had the Sonos players in the house for over 3 years and up until recently, I've had absolutely no problem accessing playlists under "my music" in Amazon using the Sonos App. Lately, however, for some of the playlists, but not all, the Sonos App will cycle for a long time and then deliver the message "unable to browse music"... What has changed in the connection with Amazon such that this would suddenly be a problem. Why does it happen for some of the playlists and not all of them?
Can't change Spotify account
I need to change the login details of my Spotify account as a connected service on the Sonos. The current account is not a premium one (downgraded from premium to free and no longer works). I (probably mistakenly) removed the service and re-added it, thinking it would prompt me to sign in with a new account, but it doesn’t prompt me with any login details and just says “Error. Unable to add Spotify Account” when I tap on “Connect to Spotify”.I tried deleting the cache and user data in the Sonos app and restarted my device but it gives the same error.Android v10 Pixel 3Sonos App v10.5, Build 53270100
Spotify Connect poor performance with Sonos
When connecting to Sonos speakers using the Spotify App, there are a multitude of problems going on. Volume control doesn’t work and if it does, it reverts back to the volume it started at eventually Lag in the Spotify app and on the speakers Pause/Play button is delayed by about 10 seconds Speakers cut in and out regularly and occasionally drop the music all together Ive read about interference or other issues, but I haven’t changed anything in my current homes set up and these problems started a few months ago. I am getting frustrated that the performance isn’t what it used to be. I use a play 1 and play 3 in my kitchen and Living room, control with an iphone XR. All apps are updated.
Channel doesn't exist
Has anyone else experienced the error message “The channel does not exist (anymore)”. I am getting it on all channels on SiriusXM. I have reset my router, rebooted my phone and the message still shows. My SiriusXM works through their app but now through my Sonos. Thanks in advance for any help.
scala Radio will not play on my Sonos via Tunein
Tunein finds Scala on is list in the Sonos app on my iPad. However, it will not play. When I press the play button, it changes to a rectangle and then immediately changes back to the arrow. It plays other stations fine including BBCR3 and Classic FM. I have tried this both with and without vpn running and have tried several times over the last six months after updating Sonos app …
Cannot see airplay option for Sonos One from BBC Sounds app
Hi, I am trying to airplay to my Sonos One from the BBC Sounds app however the option to airplay to my two x Sonos One (one in kitchen and one in living room) does not appear as an option whilst airplay does show as an option from the Amazon Music app and SonosTube app. I am using iphone ios 13.2.3 and using Sonos version 10.5.1. Any help would be appreciated. Thank kyou.
I use iTunes fro all my music, all of my music is transferred to my Sonos system, one of my large playlists (over 9000 songs) is missing, it was there then one it day I noticed it disappeared, I have actually made another playlist identical and changed the name and it still will not transfer to my Sonos when I update my system? any feedback would be appreciated. thank you.
My Sonos will not play certain local radio stations via Tunein
Hope someone can help. My Sonos one using tunein radio will play our local radio station called Pirate FM and will also play Pirate 70’s but when I ask it to play Pirate 80’s or Pirate Christmas it states that the station is playing but I get nothing? Any help would be grateful….Thank you
Tidal settings for Sonos: Use HiFi or Master Quality?
Hi. New to Tidal (but not Sonos) and have a simple question > In the Tidal settings is it best to select HiFi (lossless audio) or Master (the best audio experience)? I know that Sonos does NOT stream the Master Quality Audio (MQA) offered by Tidal … but will Master Quality work on Sonos (via Connects & Amps) so I can use it via other devices (i.e. get MQA on BlueSound Vault) or do I need to set it on HiFi (to get lossless Flac 16 bit/ 44.1kHz) on Sonos? The other way to ask this would be: Would Sonos automatically down sample the MQA hi-res files to CD-quality lossless? Thanks! Could not find answer anywhere in forum or via the Tidal FAQs.
Why have almost all the Spotify playlists disappeared from Sonos?
Since the last update, only a handful of recently accessed Spotify playlists are accessible to browse through the Sonos app on my PC. The ability to browse Spotify’s curated playlists was a feature I used on a daily basis. I can only assume that a bug has been introduced in the latest update which has caused this loss of functionality. When will this be fixed?
Sonos stopped connecting to Music Services
Hi My Sonos Controller recently stopped recognizing my Spotify account which I then removed from the Sonos app.Now Sonos does not connect to any music service and under “Add Music Services” I get the message “No selections available”.Based on other answers, I have tried:reinstalling the Sonos app rebooting the router, Sonos Bridge and Sonos speakers & ConnectNothing seems to work and I still get the same message under Music Services.I ran a diagnostic after trying all these things again - the code is 1669624089.Thanks for any advice!
sonos not showing up in spotify connect
for the past few days I have been unable to play Spotify through Sonos directly from the Spotify app on my iPhone via Spotify connect. This used to work fine previously. It works fine when my partner uses her account on her iPhone, and works fine on my account via Spotify on my MacBook. I’ve tried all the recommended rebooting of router, Sonos speakers, iPhone etc. Have tried removing and reading Spotify account in Sonos app. Still no sign of my Sonos system on Spotify connect! Please help Sonos team, this is driving me nuts. Can still play Spotify via Sonos app, but this lacks serious functionality and so is not an acceptable solution. No Spotify in the Music Services list. Sonos Move.
I live in San Francisco and I recently bought a Sonos Move to use it with my Spotify Premium Account. Iwas trying to add Spotify in Services/Add music service menu but it doesn't exist there. So I have to use a Bluetooth in order to listen Spotify.Is there a way to listen to Spotify on my Sonos via WiFi?
Amazon Prime Music Stations get "Requested Operation Failed" error when selected from "Stations"
I am able to select & play my Pandora & TuneIn stations just fine. When I select any of my saved Amazon Music Stations in My Sonos, I get “Requested operation failed. Please try again.” It never works, though. I have to Browse for it again to get it to play and then it plays just fine. This is on the app on both iPad & iPhone. Any help out there? Thank you.
Spotify Playlists not visible in Sonos App
Hi there.I’ve recently done some housekeeping in Spotify - using Playlist Folders to hold old playlists. Unfortunately in neither the Apple iOS 13.13 App, nor Windows 10 app - these aren’t visible. Instead, I merely see the playlists (I *think* in the order I placed them).Is this a known issue or enhancement opportunity? (or am I being a dumb ass?)Thanks in advance for any guidance available - it’s appreciated. :-)
People accessing system through Spotify connect
So I just came home from work and was surprised to hear my speakers blasting music on full volume. After some troubleshooting I Could say that it is not my apartment that is haunted but my girlfriend who had accessed my system through her Spotify by accident by using Spotify connect. After some testing we found that several People who had accessed the speakers before through my wifi Could still connect, miles away through Spotify and play music. Is there any way to block or remove this function. I only want People to gain access when I allow through my wifi? Thanks!
YouTube Music + Alexa
I decided to sign up for a paid music service today. I was deciding between Amazon Music Unlimited and YouTube Premium, which includes Music, since for $2 extra, there are other benefits. I thought it was an option because I saw it listed as one of the services to add in the Sonos app. BUT, apparently Alexa can't start a song with it. Is that right? I expected to be able to change the default app, and then just continue and be able to play most any song. Instead, I find that I can't even get Alexa to start a song with it, even if I say Play (Song Name) with YouTube Music. Is that right? Did I just waste $13? Thanks in advance.
Play 5 not appearing in Spotify Connect
Hello, Anyone have a fix to make the Sonos play 5 speaker appear in Spotify connect menu (both on the Spotify iOS and macOS app) ? Rebooting the Sonos used to do the trick for me but not anymore. Rebooted the Sonos, rebooted my router / modem, uninstalled and reinstalled the Spotify apps, removed and readded my Spotify Account in the Sonos App. Nothing. :(
Linking Sonos Surround System to Naim Uniti Core
My Naim Uniti Core rips and stores CDs to a high quality. It also functions as an UPnP music server and is wired to the router. I have noticed that the Sonos app shows the option of connecting to such a source. Do I need to wire all the Sonos devices in my Surround System (Beam, Sub and 2 Ones) to the router or just the Beam? Currently none of them are connected to the router as I operate them wirelessly. Alternatively, might it work wirelessly?Any detailed advice would be appreciated as I am a novice at connecting devices.
