Sonos Port + Third Party Speaker Sync

Hello! I just set up a Sonos Port to my turntable and a third party speaker, but I am having sync issues when playing to the speaker and other Sonos speakers. Here's a breakdown of my set-up:AT-LP120XUSB »Rega Phono Mini A2D V2 »Sonos Port »Marshall Stanmore II Voice I would understand a delay if were running to an receiver between the Port and the Marshall speaker, but I'm going Line-Out directly to the Marshall. I've also set the Port to the all the Audio Delay options in the app without success. Is it not possible to play music Line-Out to a third-party speaker and to the Sonos simultaneously without a delay? Thanks!

iTunes or Music playlists-add to library

Im running the latest Sonos App on my (up to date) iMac 24. I could not get my music library into the Sonos App and called in for help. The agent took over my Mac and moved some things around and now my library from iTunes/ Music is shown in the Sonos App. My playlists are nowhere to be found. I’ve read the articles about xml files but can find them so I don’t know the path. ideas and suggestions greatly appreciated. Thx hk

TV Autoplay Won't Turn Off - New Issue for me 2024-05-17

Even after the recent app fiasco, my TV Autoplay settings were still functioning correctly. After a forced update via the Windows desktop controller this morning it is no longer working.It seems that whether the switch in settings is set to ON or OFF, my living room speakers are now cutting off music and switching to SPDIF when there is a signal from the TV. (i.e Autoplay is always on no matter what I do to the settings.)I already can’t listen to the music that I own at all, and now I can’t even listen to music via a service in my main room while the TV is on.

Takes forever to get to your Apple Music library, then it's wrong

Because there aren’t enough problems, here’s a minor one that’s just indicative of what a stupid app this is:When you search for something in Apple Music, the results automatically show you the whole service, and there isn’t another option below that which is just your library like there used to be. You need to click through to the service and then click another button to switch to your library.But wait! It gets better! Then it shows you the artist, below it are the songs, and then way below that are the albums because who listens to albums anymore? (Maybe people who are willing to spend thousands of dollars on a music listening system? Maybe?) Anyway it’s even better because when you get to the albums it doesn’t actually have all the albums you have on it. You can see the albums you have in your library in the song list, but they don’t actually show in your library! You have to actually search for the album name or go to the regular Apple Music tab… which shows every album by that art

Only 100 songs listed when browsing my music library

It’s good to see some of the features returning after the problems that arose from the recent app update and I’ve now managed to reconnect my music library, but seem to have a problem when trying to browse songs in my Library (and the ability to search the Music Library hasn't yet returned).  I can browse the full Library ok by Artists, Albums, Composers and Genres, but when browsing Songs the list stops after the first 100 songs (listed alphabetically).  Artists, Albums, Composers and Genres all display the full listing ok and I can see all songs (thousands) ok when browsing using the Mac Controller, so this is problems is specific to the iOS app (80.3).  Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it?

sonos won't play certain pocketcast podcasts,specifically "Freshair" and "Commonwealth Club of CA" others play ok

I am using S1 due to equipment limitations that preclude an upgrade.  When i try to play either of these two podcasts, and certain others, I get the response “cannot play the podcast xxxxx, the connection to pocketcasts was lost”. But he fact is, the connection is not lost.  When i select other podcasts on Pocketcast, they play just fine.  Sonos tech support gave me the standard blurb - Unsubscribe and then resubscribe.  This of course doesn’t work.  Sonos then states that its something on pocketcasts end, and they can be of no further assistance.  I must take up the problem with Pocketcasts.   I’ve refused to do the digital run around for 8 hrs ., only to find that i’ve wasted 8 hrs of my life;  Mainly for the fact that I have a real life with lots of other obligations, i just want to listen to the podcast!!  Has anyone else had this problem?My overall impression with Sonos is that it is very flimsy platform.  It seems to actively seek out reasons to not do what you ask of it.  Althou

so dissapointed.

This new app has rendered my six speaker system completely useless.  I’ve rebooted, reinstalled, unplugged so many times I just want to throw it all away.  How can a company be this careless with their customers?  Never again.

Custom music services with the new Sonos app not visible

Hi,I have created a custom music service for my Sonos system (via http://urlofsonoscomponent:1400/customsd.htm) to have access to a service that does not provide its own app yet. The service is still listed and accessible with the old desktop app (MacOs) but not with the new app on my phone (Android). Is this something that will also be added back in to the app like local library access?

deezer sub menu not working

My Deezer sub menu is not opening within the Sonos app. I have uninstalled both Deezer and Sonos: it continues to tell me “something went wrong. Try again “. Other services are working, as is the stand alone Deezer app. This is just the latest problem since the Sonos app was up(down)graded ! Has anyone else had this problem?

Who on earth comes up with the brilliant idea to develop such a poorly managed iOS app... Why should everything always be new, be changed due to marketing ideas, be worse? What a pity!One detail: Where is the alarm clock function to be found in the iOS app?(a user of the first SONOS hour...)

Is the volume scale adjustable? I'm alternating between volumes 5-6-7 on a scale to 100 and it is too finnicky!

I have a small house with many devices, normal listening does not need to go up over 10. I wish the lower volumes were more spaced out so I don’t have to do mini micro adjustments on my screen. 5xOne, 1xPlaybar, 1xBass, 1xRoam

What happened to the "Random" button since the new version?

Environment:  Android phoneWhat I do is, I go to Music Library, then Folders, then select the folder with the music I want to listen to.Folders with music in are, my music, wife’s music, Christmas music, etc.When I select the folder I want, there used to be a “Random/Shuffle” button I could select to randomize play through all artists in the folder.It is gone!!!However there is a “Random/Shuffle” button in individual artist folders.  REALLY???  WHY???That was always there but never made sense to me why you would want to randomize play for an individual artists songs. Does SONOS ever respond to posts ?If so, Please put it back!Is there a way to install previous version ?Now I have to go to my PC (it hasn’t been screwed up, yet.) to play my music.Now the phone app is kind of useless, for me anyway.

Hi,I am referring to the following thread: In summary, it is about complaints from several users that the streaming integration of large providers into the Sonos ecosystem has not been working properly for some time. Spotify is named as the biggest player.The discussion also revealed that Spotify and Sonos have been aware of the problem for some time, but there are no plans to fix it. It also seems clear that Sonos, as the service provider, is responsible for fixing the problem and not Spotify. This is because the Spotify integration seems to work perfectly with other systems (e.g. Bose).In my personal experience, the quality of the Sonos system has deteriorated rapidly since the last major update to 80.00 two months ago. Since that update, Apple AirPlay has virtually stopped working reliably, resulting in constant dropouts on our Sonos Roam and Sonos Era 100 speakers. Hello everyone hope you are doing well , I just started my journey into Sonos and i chose to start with ikea symfonisk book shelf gen2 however It wasn't my lucky day :/ since I bought it 4 days ago and all the trouble to set up with the new app however I was happy and jump when I saw today app release and end up adding the device however at the end it ask for update and showing error 1002 and wont show any device in the system i had used several phones android ipad iphone also tried another email account  all unfortunately not working  please shear your thoughts and even any have smiler issue after the app update todayios 80.01.10

Music library security settings

My music library disappeared from my Sonos apps. When I try to add it back using the desktop app, I get the error message “unable to add the shared folder (913)”Chat support told me this was something to with the new security settings on the “upgraded” Sonos app and to call phone support but there is currently a 30 minute wait.Does anybody have any advice? Thanks

Playlists

When I try to save my queue as a playlist, I get the error message “unable to save the playlist”. The playlist has about 9300 tracks which, as I understand, is well below the limit.I am using the S1 desktop app. Chat support told me to call phone support but there is currently a 30 minute wait time!!!Any suggestions?

deezer not connecting

Since yesterday I am unable to connect with my Deezer account through the S2 app. I’ve tried deleting the service and adding it back in with no luck. The Deezer app itself works fine as does playing music in it it’s simply trying to get sonos to connect that fails.  Has anyone run into this issue recently and been able to correct it? Sonos helpline is running with an hour wait time so I thought I’d try here  cheers
