What is wrong with the sonos app?  Since three weeks, I can’t control the volume anymore; it continuely searches, trying to find what is playing. It’s a frustrating mess. If it doesn’t get fixed soon, i am changing everything & i am going to spread my experience on all forums possible. 

I’m afraid to say it, but it likely isn’t the Sonos app itself, but an issue with your local network. Either wifi interference , or a duplicate IP address issue. If the linked FAQ doesn’t help, try a network refresh, bumpy unplugging all Sonos devices, then rebooting your router. Wait a couple of minutes, then plug in your Sonos devices again.

If the issue continues, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
