The “add the playlist” option seems to have disappeared from the … menu of the songs. I still see “add to favorites”, “play next” etc… but no more proposal to add the song to a playlist.Does anyone know where that option has gone to?

Sonos 1 app does not work anymore?!? My 4 sonos gen 1 products are useless now. So angry

My SONOS system keeps failing to connect to various speakers even though i have Fibre to my house and good WIFI in the home. Why is this happening and it is very annoying.

There is a reported bug fix coming mid-June 2024. My setup keeps stopping being able to play music from Yousee. I have to reauthorize 3-4 times a week. I guess this is not normal - at least it didn’t use to be like that.

This morning, I went to play a podcast on my Sonos One via the Spotify app and upon connecting, it immediately began skipping to each podcast in my “My Podcasts” playlist, without playing any of them.I switched to my Sonos Arc via the same process and did not have this problem. I played that podcast successfully, without any lag or loading time, Meaning this is likely a device issue, not a network issue.I have tried unplugging and plugging back in my Sonos One, restarting my router, deleting the Spotify integration and reinstalling it, and deleting and reinstalling the Sonos app.Anyone else having this issue? How do I fix this?

Is there a way to see the Amazon Music Station Name on the Sonos App? Both currently being played and recently played.

Am I the only one who finds the volume sliders frustrating in the app while using your phone?They jump and it's hard to get the number or volume level you want. Can we not get arrows up and down that move quickly when you hold it down and moves the volume up or down by 1 when you touch an arrow once? 

    All the album photos in my Sonos Music Library are the same.In the music folder on my pc that is shared with my Sonos Music library on both S1 and S2 apps, there are JPG files for 15 of my 21 albums. But all 21 albums show cover art for an album photo that there is no jpg file for in the shared music folder. Possibly it was there at one time but the album and its related files were deleted.    Where is my Music Library getting this photo? Were is it stored? WHAT FIELD IN WHAT FILE INDICATES WHAT PHOTO TO USE AS THE ALBUM COVER?Why are the Albums that have jpg files not showing the correct album art?Is there a way to make the Sonos Music Library show the correct album cover by editing one of the files in the shared music folder on my Windows PC? Edit:I tried to give as much relevant information as I could, but if you need more info, just ask. It seems an understanding of where the Sonos Music Library gets the photo for its cover art is required and how the files in the shared folder

How can I play music from my computer music files? I used to play them before the “ap” change. The old Sonos app offered the choice right there on the app. Now I have spent over an hour chasing down the so-called “instructions” to get it to “share” my files with the Sonos app with no luck at all. The instructions do not work. I can’t believe the app still hasn’t been updated to fix this. Why would this feature be taken away from us? It was one of the most convenient features for me and it is what sold me on the original Sonos system I bought 10 years ago.

I have about 9K downloaded songs from CDs and purchased from tuned only iTunes account.  I was hoping for instructions on how to access my iTunes library of songs through SONOS.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

I assume this is just something that Sonos has to fix in the app. I had muted my Arc earlier and eventually it turned off when the TV went to sleep. So later I have music playing in another room and try to group the Arc in and the group is formed but no sound is coming out of the Arc. I figure I just have to wait because I always have to wait with the new app…. But after several seconds I verify the Arc is grouped and it is but the volume slider is kind of grayed out. I can adjust the volume slider of the Arc but still no sound. There is no icon to show the Arc is muted so no way to un-mute the Arc while grouped. I had to remove the Arc from the group and once it was independent the mute icon was visible and I could un-mute and then form the group again and it works as expected.  Please add the ability to mute/unmute individual speakers that are a part of a group. I am running: 80.16.32release+20250123.d584035dbon iOS 18.3.1     

USB drive connected to a Netgear RAX30 keeps throwing ‘access denied’ error -  settings are  are for ‘all/no password’ Is this an issue from the past updates ?  Currently all hardware is updated an app is as well.  i connect to a windows share no issues, but would like to NOT have to keep running the PC Just to access my music.  Especially when the usb nas was working with no issues. 

Very recently bought an ERA 300. Signed up to YouTube music. Added the YT music app to Sonos. All was well until a few days ago. Then some YT music content became ‘greyed out’. Today no music available through YT music. Removed YT music from the Sonos app. Can’t re-add it via Add to Sonos through ‘Manage’. I’ve reinstalled the Sonos app on my mobile. Rebooted the mobile, wi-fi. Just keep getting Something went wrong. All help appreciated, please!

I have a sonos beam 2. How i control the audio with my mobile phone without open the app? 

The delay (latency) with my SONOS app recently became very long, around 15 seconds to change volume and streaming services. I am a long time user(!) with numerous devices which include Play 3. I was not convinced it occurred as a result of a recent app update. Although it happened around that time.Slightly unwittingly, Tech support provided a key insight. I offer it for others in a similar position:SONOS now requires a rapid exchange of data to coordinate mobile Apps and speakers and unsurprisingly that is really sensitive to the quality of the connection between the controlling speaker and the house router. So if you build a “Group” around a speaker that has a weak connection (low bandwidth/high latency), control of that group crumbles into a disorganised mess which takes a long time for the system to sort out. Is the Sonos app. phone and/or desktop ever going to be improved in terms of usability?Using it feels like it was designed in like 1990 early computer days.  I can’t even change the order of my favorites, how they are viewed? There is no alphabetical, you can’t rearrange, you can’t group delete or remove playlists. On and on. I just don’t understand how this can be.  This great sound system, customized through out the phone, but I’m at the mercy of Sonos decided how a playlist should be organized?  There’s more.    Will it ever improve?I guess maybe there is some app that you can pay for with better features?Certainly not Spotify, because that is not compatible enough to control multiple speakers ( on a desktop). Wah. Complain, complain. 

I’m posting here out of sheer frustration with the current state of my Sonos system. Lately, every time I adjust the volume or change tracks via the Sonos app, there’s a noticeable delay – sometimes as long as 3-5 seconds! This might not sound like a huge issue on paper, but in practice, it makes the system feel completely unresponsive and, honestly, unusable.When I’m trying to enjoy music, a delay in volume control is a dealbreaker. Imagine turning the music down for a conversation, only to have it stay loud for several more seconds – it’s incredibly disruptive. And don’t get me started on the delays when changing songs. Hello everybody, When will Sonos Voice Control work ok with Youtube Music? I want to speak to my Sonos Beam. Giving commands like “play something from music”, “play relaxing music”.  Thanks in advance, I believe it’s not a big deal :)

Songs in a Spotify library sometimes have different volume levels. Can Sonos somehow correct this difference in volume levels while playing a list ? 

Like these older topics, I’d love for there to be an option to set a favorite or playlist as the default, so I don’t need to find my phone or computer to get some tunes goin’. Rather than get told to go stick it by my speaker (getting the ›failed action‹ sound).Current behaviorWhen device hasn’t been used/is powered on > Press the play button > Nothing happens (Failed action sound plays) Expected behaviorBeing able to set one of my favorites as the default favorite in the apps. It would be greatest if a default can be set for each room/speaker-group, but one for all would also be better than the current implementation.After having set this:I turn on my speaker > Press the play button > It starts playing the default favorite (no other device needed). NotesIf there is a queue, I don’t want it to clear it. This could also be a nice feature to be able to set (e.g. clear queue after (x) minutes/hours), but personally the current queue behavior works for me.

My original post was locked so starting new one.  Posted this 3 months ago, 3 months after the ‘upgrade’:Hi Folks,3+ months into the updated Sonos app debacle, here is a list of features that worked great on version 16 of the app but still do  not work on version 80 of the app.  I hope we can get fixes for these and check them off in less than 3 months:    1) Add/Edit tracks to a Sonos playlist.        I use playlists heavily from music in my local Library. Some of these playlists have thousands to tracks.  Since the upgrade, I cannot edit them at all.    2) Album art.        Album art no longer displays for tracks from my local Library.    3) When viewing the queue, the app should zoom to the currently playing or last played track.        When a playlist has more than dozen or so tracks I shouldn’t have to scroll to find the current track.    4) Touching the volume bar should allow me to adjust the volume for any of the devices currently being used.        Now I have to click the spea

Hi I have 3 Sonos Port + 1 Sonos Arc, all working fine from the Sonos app (iOS). I normally stream Spotify from the Sonos app and all works as expected.I also use regularly Spotify Connect (from Spotify on iOS or Spotify on macOS) to stream music to my Sonos Ports or Sonos Arc. This worked well until the last firmware update (82.2-59204).After the firmware update:My Sonos Ports and Arc are shown as valid Spotify Connect destinations from the Spotify speaker menu (both on iOS and macOS) But when I click on any of the Sonos destinations, Spotify just shows “Connecting...” and nothing happens. Other non-Sonos Spotify Connect speakers work as expectedm both from Spotfy iOS and macOS. My wifi is exacly the same as before the Sonos firmware update, so the problem is not on my wifi.So I assume that the last Sonos firnware udpate broke something on the way Sonos gear responds to Spotify Connect requests? Last.fm is a crucial tool for heavy music listeners and audiophiles who want to track their listening habits and discover new music. Given that Last.fm itself provides step-by-step integration guides, it’s hard to understand why Sonos has not taken the small steps needed to bring this feature back.Even more frustrating is the lack of clear communication from Sonos.
