Why do I keep getting sign in as owner but won’t let me  

Think twice before you install the new SONOS app as at least the following features are no longer available (temporarily or permanently):Sleeptimer has disappeared completely. Either you sleep the entire night with music on or you wake up to switch off the music… Quite defeats the purpose. Alarms: creating and editing an alarm is no longer possible. You can only toggle an existing alarm on and off. Local music library: make sure you don’t remove it as it is no longer possible to add a local music library stored on a NAS or shared device. Also the search doesn’t work on the local library any longer; it only searches the online music services. Sonos seems to have finally let down its initial user population that made Sonos big before music streaming services existed…Either this is a deliberate choice by Sonos to reduce the functionality or someone validated a pre-beta release for production to meet some preset deadlines… In any case, don’t up

Today, again, my alarm did not go off at the appointed time. This has been happening on a weekly basis since the launch of the new app.This alarm is configured to go off on weekdays at 6.35am, play a random song from a playlist (creatively called 'Wake-up songs'), play at 10% volume, and run for 2 hours.Yesterday morning, the alarm went off at 6.35 normally, and I woke up.Today, I woke at 6.53, and noticed that my alarm was utterly silent.In the app, I could then verify that:The alarm was still configured as described The alarm was switched on The Sonos app was not reporting any issuesHowever, the playlist for the Sonos One by my bed was entirely empty, which is inexplicable as I hadn't done anything since waking up from the alarm yesterday. While the new controller on android still can’t deal with libraries, it does at least “work”. But on my iPad the new controller doesn’t even want to draw the screen or do anything.

Fixed for me using 80.04.04 on my iPad:Sonos Favorites now shows all of my Favorites not just the first 18 items. It now behaves just like the new Sonos web app. Thank you.Still an issue for me:Selecting the Plex Service still “occasionally” times out on the first attempt before returning anything. It generally works on the 2nd attempt. Sonos can you please increase the timeout when waiting for the Plex response. The old Sonos 16.1 app on my iPhone and the new Sonos web app doesn’t have this problem, just the new Sonos IOS app.I am still choosing to use SonoPad for local music library playback, mainly because the new Sonos app still doesn’t support the A-Z positioning for Artists and Albums which makes it unusable with a large music library containing a lot of Artists/Albums to manually scroll through . Once this issue is fixed, I hope to start using the new Sonos app for everything again.Ross.

Please help me understand why SONOS would issue a version that will not work with MAC OS Sonoma14.5.  I have tried to 4 hours to get it to connect to my itunes play list and it will try to connect and then it will not connect.  It continues to give me a multiple versions of errors.  Please help.

How do I select a zone where to play something in the new app? If I open “Your System” I have no way to select a zone where I want to play something, it only let me group zones. If I deselect everything and select only a new zone it does not work it does not play. I only can join a new zone with my currently playing zone otherwise nothing works. This app update is 💩, it renders everything useless. What a mess.

After upgrade to new sonos app, I have major isses whit the new app. First it is not intuitive and it response very slow, I know I have a lot of Sonos in my home and also a Boost connected directly to my router. When I ude the new app from my android mobile or the new app from my iPad pro, it’s response is very very slow. Sometimes when i Pick a new Music playlist, it can just wait and wait and then either begin or come whit a massage that something went wrong….If I Want to ajust volume, sometimes there is a delay for more than 30 sec and sometimes it just live its own life and do not respond at all. I am very unhappy whit the new sonos app, I newer had any issues whit the old app. I have a 1000 / 1000 fiber connection to internet, so no problem this way…..I have tried to shut Down for all Sonos speakers, and the boost and my router, then start everything up again, beginning whit my Router, then Sonos boost an so on…Any one no

Older Play 1 and PlayBar wont connect and register since latest app release 80.00.20.The latest release is a shambles and there is no acceptable reason its so full of errors.The developer/manager needs firing.The old Sonos 1 app now tells me to go to Sonos 2 App, which tells me I might have to downgrade my units but thats not working atm.I have a PlayBar and a Play 1 that now wont register and connect since latest updates to Android app.When is this going to be fixed.BTW I am network engineer and my Ethernet and Wifi network is working correctly.Users shouldn't need to constantly restart or power off/on my router, this is shoddy app coding.If I cat get this fixed will be looking for a refund  

It’s now July - no fixes to the system / app update.  May I suggest a fix?…. get rid of the CEO.  

Support reckons this is not a common issue, but has anyone else found the equaliser refuses to adjust with the new app? It's really annoying as I rely on a bias to one speaker in a stereo pair and like loudness enabled. It simply refuses to accept any changes on my app and just reverts straight back.

Woke up this morning and my Sonos was gone.Thw app looks fine, it simply will not play anything.  Rest the modem, reinstalled the app.  Nothing.  Sort of like old times last month.Anyone else experiencing this, and anyone have helpful answers? thanks 

With the introduction of the unwanted play.sonos.com which allows Public-facing access to your Sonos system, an attack vector has been introduced towards IoT Sonos products.As a minimum, 2 Factor authentication should be introduced to allow users greater security over access to any Sonos websites, but in particular to play.sonos.com.Another enhancement would be the option to turn off access via play.sonos.com to your Sonos system by implementing a switch in your Sonos profile (not in the app, because I am not upgrading to version 80 just to turn play.sonos.com off!)

After the last update, randomly, I find the speakers (Arc, One, Beam) at a different volume than the one I left them at and sometimes I notice the green light that corresponds to the mute. are you aware of the problem? the app is slow, doesn't see all Spotify playlists and now this problem too. I invite the technical department to urgently resolve at least the volume problem. Thanks  Luca

When listening to Pandora on Sonos I hear Ad after Ad, (Kroger, mattress, cars etc).  When I listen to Pandora without Sonos I do not hear any ads.

All my music is located on my computer, organized in iTunes.  It is very messy, with files located under 2 Users...if I click on a song file and select Properties, iTuues shows me the path to the song on my hard drive. But also, I can look in File Explorer and see that many if not all songs are stored in both Users. Everything was working fine for a while, then I noticed that Sonos was skipping songs in many of my iTunes Playlists...”access denied”.I have been trying to add more song folders to my Sonos Music Library but it won’t let me. I have been all over the internet looking for help. I have looked at tons of my folders and Shared them. I don’t know what else to try. For the time being, I just want to be able to listen to ALL my songs, like I could before.Another question: At a later date I want to clean up and re-organize so that everything I do is under only one User. I have a system with 2 ERA 100 a minisub and beam Everything was OK and I use Trueplay. After updating (now the system is on IOS 17.4.1 is S2 built 80.00.04. In trueplay when I try retune the system hangs (after rotating when there is the message You will hear some tones… It hangs and only reseting (power off) the phone I can escape from this scree. Is this a normal behaviour? Any solution? Thanks

I’m round my friends house and i can’t connect my sonos please help!.  I re-downloaded the app so i chose connect to existing sonos and it can’t find it because it’s not connected to the wifi…but i cant connect it to the wifi because i have to set it up in the app! HELPP

Some features are not available anymore in the new app version since last thursday, like access to a Nas harddisc. WHY..??? I have a lot of music-files on a harddisc and I can't play it anymore with the new app..! Also earlier made favourites are impossible to select. I had to install new Radio Broadcasting stations. Please make it possible to return those functions or give the possibility to use the old app version. The old app was working fine for me..!!

Hi - I follow a couple of politics podcasts and new episodes drop at any time. With the new sonos app I no longer have the dates they were released. Pocket cats includes it. Will sonos put this back on?

Hi all,in light of the app update disaster and similar issues I’ve discovered that my two Sonos One speakers can’t be operated via my controller on my laptop (Win 11), but they work fine via my phone using a rolled-back version of Sonos 2 software.This is what I get:However, both are shown as connected on my Virgin Media router dashboard. I haven’t changed the router or the network name. All was working fine until the latest update.For clarity here’s what I have done:Turned the router off - three timesRebooted laptop - three timesPlugged Sonos One to router - twice. Didn’t show.Uninstalled the S2 controller - twice. Still can’t access the system.Rebooted my NAS drive with my music library on it - three timesRolled back to V16 of the S2 app on my phone and got access to my library

I live in a rural area with sketchy internet access. On a good day my top speeds are 1.1mbps down and 0.8mbps up, often much slower. Leaving the connection active seems to cause it to slow down, so I only connect when I need to go online. I’m getting the idea that the new app needs to connect to some server somewhere to function. Is this the case? Will my sonos kit cease to function unless I’m online when it's updated?

Can anyone tell me how to connect the new app to my music library held on a NAS on my local network  

Ever since the new app has been released, my wife is unable to search music or use the app in any meaningful manner. Is anyone else having the same issue? Does anyone know the solution? 

 I have CBC Radio & Music in my connected services on the Sonos app. After the app update yesterday it stopped working.I’ve uninstalled this in my connected services and re-installed it, but that did nothing. I checked another radio station (NRK) and that seems to be working fine.   This is what the app shows when I select my CBC station to play. After selecting “Play” it just spins.
