Controllers and Music services

After updating the iOS app, my Move 1 can’t be found. I am able to use the web app, but obviously that defeats the whole point.  Anyone fix this?

Truplay still not working on my iPad, with July’s 2024 update. Tried all forums you can find for help, none work.

The app tells me it needs a update, I press it, it then says done, I press it and it then goes back to the update screen. It is stuck doing this loop? 

I set up my speakers on a spectrum w6 internet connection and sonos app on s24 samsung phone. All the speakers were there and working properly. After several hours the speakers are no longer displayed in the sonos app but still work individually on wifi connection (Move/One). I restart phone and all speakers show up again but disappear after several hours.

I’m a software developer for 25 years, and much of the last 15 spent on mobile platforms. I have NEVER seen such a blatant failure in my life. It has been many days and still I see “no products found” when I open the mobile app. And the scum that runs this company is silent, other than to make a moronic announcement about how brave they are for updating the app. Was that a f****** joke?!?!And is the app the only problem? I doubt it. I suspect the latest firmware update(s) are also a pathetic broken attempt. Why? Because the new “web app” works fine (which proves my system is online and working even though the mobile app can’t find it), and because the Spotify app will sometimes see my speakers and play to them, even though the app can’t find them. The revised App is much slower to load than the previous version (same phone - iPhone 11). Slower to find Library albums and to play them. The first album track repeats in a loop rather than proceed track by track. Length of track shown previously does not appear at screen base. Play 3 speaker used. 

In the new app, when I go to my Bandcamp service, and then select recent purchases, I see my collection but they are sorted randomly. Not alphabetical and not in order of purchase, so I have to just scroll through lots to spot what I'm looking for. Can this ability be added? Or if it's there how do I sort? Thanks 

I am trying to sign in to the sonos app on my phone but, despite the app telling me that I have signed in, I keep getting on screen messages that I need to sign in to access this feature. I never had this problem before the update

Hi all First of, yes I am also one of these Guys using an Asus Router (Asus BE-98) My setup is as follows:Beam (connected via Ethernet) Sub (wireless) Move (wireless) Roam 2 (wireless) My Network:Two Wi-Fi (1 all Bands and 1 dedicated to Sonos with 2,4 and 5 Ghz enabled) The Apple TV, HomePod and Sonos are all in the VLAN 51 (wireless and Ethernet)I can control everything by the Sonos app. However, no Speaker shows as Airplay. I went to a device's IP and the /tools.htm page to click the “announce mDNS” button and Airplay appears, however it is not possible o play as I get an instant error message.On my Asus Router, I already disabled Airtime fairness and enabled Multicast and IGMP. However, I can't get Airplay to work, anyone had success? Thanks

We have two Sonos sound bars, and 5 Sonos speakers. Since the app upgrade, we have been able to use our Sonos maybe 50% of the time and as of this week, we can’t even get in to our system.  It Finds our network and then it acts like it’s trying to connect so you can select your music, but it never gets you to that screen. When will this be resolved? And if it can’t be resolved, how do we get a refund on all of our equipment? I think we’ve been plenty patient at this point.

The answer is  don't. Every day you will find an issue with the system. Some days you will find that the status lights are all on. Check your app..it will say no products found. Start again..eventually you will find a toggle switch to off the status lights..it is of course already off. Don't stop there.  Some of the status lights have changed colour too. No explanation or help from sonus. But hey..good news the system may respond but may reward you with just some volume controls working and half of the speakers responding and some not at all. Enjoy the uncertainty of it all, your efforts to resolve any issue will not work..go to bed, switch on in the morning, sometimes it may work if not off the system and head out or put on headphones.. not sonusDon't start me on the new app , lack of android support and the good old apparently lost sonus boost

Well, like the title says. When adding my Sub via the (latest) Android app it crashes. I wired it to the router and that makes it crash even faster. The setup was fine until I bought two Era100s which was a pain as well to add to the environment. So in the end I factory reset the ARC as well which helped to get the Era100s to work - because they got the blinking green LED just after pairing with the ARC. So that works atm.The crashing of the Android app still remains and I cannot add my Sub. I uninstalled the app, I cleared the cache, I reset my router, I restarted my phone, I reset the SUB (and the ARC). Nothing helps. Weird, right?

This is NOT an upgrade, it’s a downgrade and that is not just based on the ugly aesthetics, the app has lost its functionality and begs the question WHAT ARE YOU DOING? The app is now glitchy and despite my high-speed internet takes forever to load. It doesn’t recognise my speakers even though it is playing music through them at the time. The song displayed is not the song playing, it just freezes on the first song of the day and won’t update. The playlist now jumps, pauses halfway through a song and the shuffle button doesn’t work. The fast forward and pause buttons no long respond in real time, it takes 30 seconds to a minute. The home screen is full of greyed out icons. It is generally slow and unresponsive, very much like Sonos tech and customer service who should be addressing the thousands of complaints with speed and concern.It is clear this update was released before appropriate te

Global player is no longer showing the station icon under recently played. This was fixed a couple of weeks back but is broken again in the latest app.  

I had been using the Amp (gen 2) with two KEF speakers, a third party (KEF) subwoofer, and two One SLs with no issues but after updating the app I can’t control my subwoofer at all. The volume and crossover frequency sliders do nothing and even the “on/off” switch doesn’t work (it remains on at whatever settings it’s defaulting to). Unfortunately I’m on iOS so I can’t easily revert back to the previous version of the app. Anyone else dealing with this right now? I’ve reset my router hoping that would fix it but the issues still remains. Can’t believe this update was rolled out how it is…

Hi,With latest Sonos app, any search for music in Pandora returns no results. This is a problem I had not encountered in the past. Does anyone have a solution? Regards,CJ

Using the new app I am unable to search Pandora by artist, song, album or genre.  When I search all, I get results on Amazon and Sonos, but nothing on Pandora.  Also, if I choose to play a song on Amazon, a different song plays than the one which was selected.  Is Sonos conspiring against these other services?

I'm a custom AV installer & have over 100 Connects, Connect:Amps, Sonos Amps, Ports, Playbars, Arcs, etc in the field that my clients depend on me to manage. A few days before the 'Hiroshima' update, I just had finished installing a 20-zone Sonos Amp system in a new home. Fortunately, I was able to keep that client (and almost all of my other clients) from updating. I've been doing triage for the few that did get updated... not much fun. So much for background... I do need help solving one issue: During the install & testing of that 20-zone system, I had added my personal Qobuz account so I'd have some decent-quality music to test the speakers, set the room EQs, etc. HOWEVER, I'm now unable to remove my Qubuz account because that feature is greyed out. I tried thru both the iOS app and thru the Windows app... but all manage service or add service or remove service features are grayed out. All I get is the rub-it-in-your-face "App needs updating.... limited functiona

In the new Sonos app, the music library does not appear. I would like to review Artists, Albums, Compilations, etc.I know that I can search for a specific tune or artist.All I see now are System, Recently Played, Your Services and Sonos Favorites.I sometime prefer to scroll through my music to pick out a song or artist.

After the new app update, I am mot able to add my beam to the app. I did a factory reset and it added my Play 1s that I have, but I’m not able to add my beam. I was able to add the beam once, but it started an update and it was not able to complete the update and it didn’t get added. Second time I tried, I skipped the update, but when I try to connect to my TV, the beam is not detecting my TV. Note that everything was working fine before the app update - so it’s not about unplugging and plugging in the speaker and router settings etc.  For a speaker system that relies heavily on the software, this is a big miss and how can I trust any Sonos product in the future where a simple app update can essentially brick my speakers? All the best with your new headphones that was released this week if you have an app that behaves like this. 

My Sonos system is showing the time in GMT when I check on my desktop app so the alarms are all incorrect as I am based in Australia.  I can’t find any way of correcting this.

Hi, Does anybody know how the alarms works on the Sonos app?When installed to the preferred time, frequency, volume and (in this case) Spotify playlist- It does not play. Previously I used the alarms on daily basis without any problems (old app version) /Tobias

My music library gone from phone app & now laptop - what can I do?

Hi,Until the app update i had no problem to listen to all the songs present in a folder. Now it’s impossible to play several songs in a row.For example : Library->folder→ “Various” I can’t choose to play all the songs from this folder. If I click on the first song at the end of it it will not play the second one.If I choose “Album” instead of “Folder” it works.Thanks for your help 

Plex connects correctly. Browsing through Plex works too. But playing anything does not work at all.plex server is running locally on Synology with latest version. Sonos is updated to latest version too. i tried to play on any of my Sonos speakers  what am I doing wrong?
