It Deserves To Be Said

I just installed the latest iOS app version and it has to be said…

The latest version fixes most, if not all, issues I had with the new version.

The volume control is now very responsive - as good as before - and I do not get all the nasty error messages that were popping after whatever action I did.

I know it should not have happened in the first place but, Sonos does deserves credits here. It is back to the stable app I used to have.
Thanks.

+1 been mostly stable for me for 12 hours. No error messages. This is an improvement.

Still missing a lot of features and many are a month or more longer which imo is unacceptable

I hear you.
Meanwhile, being a software professional and considering what they did seems to be a major refactoring - probably as a foundation for the future - I think they took a bigger than usual bite and had problems dealing with it.

Some additional patience will likely bring back your lost joy.

As a non professional software user I’ve never used such a buggy POS app ever.
If they hadn’t sold this as a finished product through a series of communications that were lies I wouldn’t be so angry and intolerant of whatever it is that they are trying to do.

As an end user and customer I shouldn’t have to beta test involuntarily.

This isn’t directed at you, apologies for bringing my endless negativity and anger to your thread that was positive.

No offense.
I understand your point and it is a valid opinion.
