Controllers and Music services

I am using S1 due to equipment limitations that preclude an upgrade.  When i try to play either of these two podcasts, and certain others, I get the response “cannot play the podcast xxxxx, the connection to pocketcasts was lost”. But he fact is, the connection is not lost.  When i select other podcasts on Pocketcast, they play just fine.  Sonos tech support gave me the standard blurb - Unsubscribe and then resubscribe.  This of course doesn’t work.  Sonos then states that its something on pocketcasts end, and they can be of no further assistance.  I must take up the problem with Pocketcasts.   I’ve refused to do the digital run around for 8 hrs ., only to find that i’ve wasted 8 hrs of my life;  Mainly for the fact that I have a real life with lots of other obligations, i just want to listen to the podcast!!  Has anyone else had this problem?My overall impression with Sonos is that it is very flimsy platform.  It seems to actively seek out reasons to not do what you

This new app has rendered my six speaker system completely useless.  I’ve rebooted, reinstalled, unplugged so many times I just want to throw it all away.  How can a company be this careless with their customers?  Never again.  

re New App.Not only does the equaliser NOT WORK I have lost all the midrange sounds PLEASE HELP!This is not what I expect from SONOS please reinstate the old App and give us our lives and our MUSIC back.

Hi,I have created a custom music service for my Sonos system (via http://urlofsonoscomponent:1400/customsd.htm) to have access to a service that does not provide its own app yet. The service is still listed and accessible with the old desktop app (MacOs) but not with the new app on my phone (Android). Is this something that will also be added back in to the app like local library access?

My Deezer sub menu is not opening within the Sonos app. I have uninstalled both Deezer and Sonos: it continues to tell me “something went wrong. Try again “. Other services are working, as is the stand alone Deezer app. This is just the latest problem since the Sonos app was up(down)graded ! Has anyone else had this problem?

Who on earth comes up with the brilliant idea to develop such a poorly managed iOS app... Why should everything always be new, be changed due to marketing ideas, be worse? What a pity!One detail: Where is the alarm clock function to be found in the iOS app?(a user of the first SONOS hour...)

Environment:  Android phoneWhat I do is, I go to Music Library, then Folders, then select the folder with the music I want to listen to.Folders with music in are, my music, wife’s music, Christmas music, etc.When I select the folder I want, there used to be a “Random/Shuffle” button I could select to randomize play through all artists in the folder.It is gone!!!However there is a “Random/Shuffle” button in individual artist folders.  REALLY???  WHY???That was always there but never made sense to me why you would want to randomize play for an individual artists songs. Does SONOS ever respond to posts ?If so, Please put it back!Is there a way to install previous version ?Now I have to go to my PC (it hasn’t been screwed up, yet.) to play my music.Now the phone app is kind of useless, for me anyway.

Hello everyone hope you are doing well , I just started my journey into Sonos and i chose to start with ikea symfonisk book shelf gen2 however It wasn't my lucky day :/ since I bought it 4 days ago and all the trouble to set up with the new app however I was happy and jump when I saw today app release and end up adding the device however at the end it ask for update and showing error 1002 and wont show any device in the system i had used several phones android ipad iphone also tried another email account  all unfortunately not working  please shear your thoughts and even any have smiler issue after the app update todayios 80.01.10

Hi, I am just about to download sonopad and wondered if it has the same capability as the old sonos app? Ie room selection, grouping rooms etc.

My music library disappeared from my Sonos apps. When I try to add it back using the desktop app, I get the error message “unable to add the shared folder (913)”Chat support told me this was something to with the new security settings on the “upgraded” Sonos app and to call phone support but there is currently a 30 minute wait.Does anybody have any advice? Thanks

When I try to save my queue as a playlist, I get the error message “unable to save the playlist”. The playlist has about 9300 tracks which, as I understand, is well below the limit.I am using the S1 desktop app. Chat support told me to call phone support but there is currently a 30 minute wait time!!!Any suggestions?

Since yesterday I am unable to connect with my Deezer account through the S2 app. I’ve tried deleting the service and adding it back in with no luck. The Deezer app itself works fine as does playing music in it it’s simply trying to get sonos to connect that fails.  Has anyone run into this issue recently and been able to correct it? Sonos helpline is running with an hour wait time so I thought I’d try here  cheers

I noticed that “Add to End of Queue” now appears in the context menu when browsing my music library, along with “Replace Queue”.  However. selecting “Add to End...” always fails and displays the message, “”Unable to add to end of queue”.  Note that “Replace Queue” does seem to work properly with my music library. On another note, editing my home screen to remove “Pinned Collections” that were created in the old controller are only temporarily deleted when I edit the home screen.  Closing the app and reopening it restore these collections (which are all podcasts).I wanted to make sure these were documented as a bugs, and not considered fixed.  I’m on controller version 80.04.05-release+20240702

When playing music through the app with Spotify as the provider, the music is frequently jumping and skipping.Very similar sound to a CD that is badly scratched.No response through the app also to move the track forward, the queue was showing as empty and no music found.

Currently, only a handful of Spotify playlists show through the sonos app. Will this be fixed in upcoming releases. There was not an arbitrary limit set on viewable playlists in the old app. When will the personal music library be searchable again? Thanks
