The Sonos app is crap, super slow unresponsive and it ruined how I enjoy music. Anyone has same issues?

Not really, it can depend perhaps on the audio source, perhaps - a locally held library is pretty quick. As attached.
The Amazon streaming service can take a few seconds to start playback… but it’s not a huge issue (see attached from my iPhone controller).
