Thank U Sonos for this horrific update i was planning a big party with family and friends for my daughter’s wedding thanks to the upgrade everything went wrong lost a whole day trying to fix Sonos system problems, been asked many times to repeat system upgrade, finally it worked with Spotify app directly The last version was just fine.Why changing for something so much worse?

After the last update on iOS I appear to have lost my own playlists. On my computer I can see and play them, but nothing shows on iOS. Grateful of some help please? Thx.

has anyone found a way to control their sonos on a chromebook since the awful new app installed last week? I thought there was a web application. anyone have any positive news how Sonos are dealing with the incompabilities.Also so many of my favourite radio stations can no longer play on Tune In..  what a disasterSo disappointing

With the new released Sonos App the progress of podcasts are not synced back to pocket casts. With the old Sonos app it worked. 

 My library has always been on a NAS which works well.  I decided to try adding a share from an external drive on my Windows PC.  I used a thumb drive with one album on it with the folder structure “H /My Music /Classical/Berlioz/Symphonie Fantatique.  Then in the My Music folder Properties I put Sonos in the share list.  Using the Sonos PC app I added the H: My Music folder by browsing for it using the option “Add music from an external drive attached to your computer” (paraphrased). After it indexed, which took forever, I found that it indexed the My Music folder on the PC, not the My Music folder on the H: external drive.  The path of the share was H:\My Music although the slashes were back slashes as opposed to forward slashes as used for the NAS share. So why would Sonos not read the path literally and instead index the My Music folder on the PC?  My NAS share + the My Music PC share was too much for the index process.  If the index had only taken the single album on H: drive the

HP Chromebook running 124.0.6367.225Sonos install: version 80.01.07-release+20240517.e5cee07After install of update the app consisting closes upon attempting to launch. Initial splash screen displays for a couple seconds and then closes. A dialog has come up where I can go to Sonos App info to do force stop, etc. I have uninstalled and re-installed numerous times. Have updated the tablet Android software as well and uninstalled and reinstalled the Sonos app. Same issue. App working on my iPhone. Anyone else experiencing this? Anything else I can provide? This is very frustrating...

HI,from today all my SONOS speakers are unusable, the Sonos APP made the SONOS Roam SL disappear 4 days ago, today N.1 Play 1 disappeared and the other one survives but I think this one will soon leave my WFI net too. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO RE-INSERT THEM INTO THE APP WITH THE RESET PROCEDURE, the APP crashes or the procedure ends but there is no trace of the speakers in the APP. Can I go back to the previous version of the APP? the previous one worked for three years, with this "NEW APP" it is a continuous disaster and it is a fact that I can no longer use the speakers. I'm quite annoyed by SONOS, the chat and the support phone number are impossible to contact, always waiting, waiting congratulations.This is second my post for this problem.For SONOS the NEW APP can be a big problem.

Hi,I just noticed that the Alarms again disappeared from the Android app. Also the App version can't be displayed anymore. To me this is not an improvement. When can we see again a stable reliable app?Thank you.

I store my music files on my iMac and was accessing them via the music library settings on the desktop app. But not since May and the update has this worked. Has anyone with the same set up managed to access their music yet? Can anyone offer a solution? Are Sonos ever going to get this to work for people with my setup? I’ve never had the error code 913. The latest update simply reports Access to the shared folder  “// ----- ” is denied check username and password.

Hi Folks. It is fair to say pre mandated Sonos upgrade, my Play 1 worked a treat. Since the upgrade it keeps telling me I am not logged in when I am, failing to detect WIFI ( even though all non Sonos services are fine). It also flashes up , ' no wifi detected ' even while it is playing a podcast. I have uninstalled , reinstalled, unplugged, factory reset ( the threads tell you that is ' game over ' for your device but the Help section gives it as the option to use when all else fails) . All else has failed…Some of the replies seem to tell users by Factory resetting they have disabled their product permanently, why suggest it in the help section if that is the case?? Forget connecting to a rep, ' none available' over & over. I have not changed my WIFI/,Router or anything else and now have a device which does not function. Any suggestions please?  The reviews are terrible for the upgrade, but things seem to be getting worse. Love my speaker, frustrated by chaos of the app. Thanks in

I have downloaded the latest Sonos app but I still can’t access my playlists off of my Windows 10 desktop computer.  I can access my music just fine, also located on said desktop.The Sonos website instructs me to go “from the Manage menu and select Music Library Settings.  I found something called, “Your System MANAGE”; I assume this is the right place. From here, the Sonos web instructions say to go to the section for “My music folders on Sonos,” select + (plus) on macOS, or Add if you are using Windows.”  Under the “Manage Menu” I don’t eveb have an option for Music Library Settings at all.  I have “About Your System, Alarms, Audio Compression, Date & Time, + 6 other items.”I have an iPhone 11 running the last iOS.How do I import my playlists folder from my PC which disappeared when Sonos released its latest app?Thanks.

Updating the app on my phone brought back those options after Update-ageddon but they are still missing from my Samsung tablet. It's running Android 14 and UI 6 and 80.04.05 of the Sonos S2 app.  Why? 

My Roam SL has been removed from APP.After reset it and reconected to my WFI the problem is not resolved, still missing in APPwhy ? What is wrong in the procedure ?I checked in the router configuration an It is present in the router. I rebooted the router but nothing happen.Any additional info?

The previous versions haven’t been amazing at this. But since the last update, the app is incredibly slow at showing the current status of the system. For example, showing the current track playing when it’s been changed.  Is it now routing differently?

The next batch of restored features was originally advertised as being available mid-June.Well, mid-June came and went, but no sign if the updates.Next, we learn these have been pushed back to July, due to ‘testing issues’.Its mid-July now and it would be interesting to know when the next update will be released.Could someone from Sonos enlighten us, please?

Hi.  The new app does not work properly on my Android phone.   When I try to open the app, all I get is a black page, a white page or a black page with the Sonos logos with both S’s cut off.  The app will just hang in this state for hours.  I have tried restarting my phone, re-installing the app, and opening the app from the “app info” page.  Anyone else had this problem and found a solution?   Thanks.

Hi AllAlthough i have no interest in downloading the new(Not improved) App atm due to a few teething troubles...😆, do you download from the app store ?My Sonos app on the phone is just a Black disc with no access to it , funny i have a Beam, 2 Ikea surrounds and a Roam for a few years now and most of the time the sound is great but using the app was never great especially with Spotify very flakey skipping tracks, music just stopping etc.. i did think it was just bad luck but seems the app has always had problems  CheersWayne England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The search function doesn’t work in the new app, all services seems to be up and running. Tried everything, uninstall/install of app, reboot of network. The search function is working fine on my iPad with the old app (orange one). Anybody knows how to fix this?

Grouping rooms just doesn’t work. It adds rooms you’ve not selected (not great when that speaker is in the bedroom and the wife is trying to sleep). Removing speakers from a group just causes the app to hang and takes several attempts. Frequently skips songs or returns to beginning of playlist (especially when adding or removing speakers). Seems to have removed the existence of my Sonos Boost and I have no idea how to get this back, this is causing additional connectivity issues that the Boost had previously solved. Constantly seems to default to playlists being on a loop, I don’t want this to be the defaultI am sure there are many many others bugs I have not yet unearthed, but this is a very bad update, please provide the opportunity to roll-back until you have fixed these errors. Sonos is not cheap and the ability to group/ ungroup sets of speakers with ease should be the bare minimum for the user experience. Such a shame, the reputational damage caused by rushing this through can’t

FWIW, here’s a tip for those whose Sonos app (iOS) does not see their music library. This has been the case for me since the original app overhaul. My very large music library is stored on the D: drive of my desktop PC. The workaround for me is to stream something — anything — from the app and then the “Your Sources” header suddenly reappears (where previously only “Your Services” was visible) and my library with it. It’s galling to have to do it this way but better than nothing. I realise that it might be because my PC could still be using SMBv1. However, the app is such a dumpster-fire that for the time being I am going to stick with this workaround rather than experiment further. I hope this helps anyone who has had problems getting the app to recognise their stored media.
