Since the new version of the app I am unable to access my Sonos system as when I ask to join an existing system the accept T&S’s button is grayed out and does nothing when I tap it. This is the same on both my Android tablet and my iPhone. Both tablet and iPhone software is up to date.Come on Sonos team there have been too many issues in the recent past from the Alexa issues with the Era 100 to this!!Can somebody please help me reconnect to my Sonos System This is just sooo frustrating!! Thank you

When I try to swipe the next page down 99% of the time the whole app will swipe down instead of the menu. Do I have fat fingers or is the pin strip you need to hit positioned wrong” 

As of August 1 2025, Sonos is finally displaying my music library. I can see a list of my iTunes playlists.However, when I add a playlist to Sonos’s favorite, Sonos starts using some cryptic internal code for the playlist name. I can’t tell which playlist is which from the names used.  

Problem Free Imported Playlist Solution:I was one of the victims of Sonos’s recent upgrade in May. I lost everything and was unable to play music until August, still without my imported playlists. Work arounds proved faulty. My music library would appear and disappear forcing me to do another significant reload. The NAS work around has proven satisfactory but not ideal. My external hard drive is not a NAS, why are we treating it as such?Sonos support was completely unacceptable; the representatives were polite enough and while apologetic (offering nothing but empty promises that these issues would be fixed in future)  proved completely unable to resolve the issue  Call wait times are oft north of 75 minutes and level 2 technicians have to be scheduled weeks in advance. Hi,I'm having real usability issues with Plex. I've tried removing and reauthorizing the account etc multiple times. My use case is that I have multiple Plex sources but can't interchange them. so is keeps defaulting to the my childrens source which is smaller (not sure if that's contributing).  I get the “something went wrong” error when I try to changing it to my main source after 10 or so seconds of thinking about it. Workaround is for me to access music that's hosted in my main source  via the playlists option or using search which is hit and miss - often seems to drop Plex from the list of services to search. Strangely I can access an album via this method but not the whole artist - again not sure if it's a content thing. I've loaded the following diagnostic.**Moderator Note: Diagnostic number removed for privacy*

Volume control not working on iphone/iPadis there a way to fix? It use to work….😳😡

2 things:1. When alarm sounds in morning, My phone screen used to come on with option to turn it off or snooze. Since the May update, it doesn't do this anymore. Is this coming back sometime??2. Alarm music selection used to allow to search our music subscriptions (e.g. YouTube music) and choose music to play... Now it only gives options for sonos radio or sonos favourites... Why?? 

I have had a Roam for the last couple of years and it has mostly worked well.  I do not like the new app, but I like the Sonos ecosystem and decided to expand the system with an Era 100.  I thought I would be ok as I suspected that the app issues were related to large/complicated Sonos setups and that progress was being made on system stability.But I am now having issues where songs from a Spotify stream just skip after playing for 30 seconds or so.  It is an intermittent problem, but I just had 5 songs in a row skip.  I mostly use the speakers as a group - both playing.Is this worth taking up with Sonos support given the intermittent nature of the issue?  Do you know if Sonos keeps an internal log of song skips and the reasons behind them?Feeling deflated about my new purchase.

As the subject says, most of the time the music library option is missing from my iPhone (and more recently SonoPhone) app, and when I try my Mac Sonos (v16.2) ) app, I can see that it’s forgotten/removed my NAS settings. \\SONOSSERVER\MUSICThis is based on a Synology NAS DS720+ running DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 5 Any ideas why this has started happening more and more in recent months? Many thanks in advance Jonathan

PLEASE add an option to Shuffle the Songs in Apple Music Library. This exists for Spotify, it exists for our local music library, it should be able to exist for Apple Music. Here are the “workarounds” and why they are bad:“Just shuffle play in the Apple Music app and airplay to your sonos!” - Then we miss out on Lossless quality, which is reduced over airplay. Plus it’s much better to keep things within the Sonos ecosystem and limit the number of different apps we need to do simple things. “Just start playing any song in your library, and then enable shuffle” - This does not work. The queue will be empty. “Just use the My Station feature in Apple Music” - this is not the same as shuffling an entire library. It’s just some playlist that an algorithm creates, so you can hear familiar songs over and over.

I had a previous problem with this and some renaming and file sharing settings took care of it. It has popped up again and the previous suggestions don’t seem to be appropriate.  Any ideas? Hold time on the support line is 60+ minutes.

I have recently Bought an Arc, two Era 300 and a sub mini which I use as a home theatre system.  My system keeps disconnecting from the app and I have to turn them all off at the power and then reconnect them all to the app and then pair them. This is becoming exceptionally frustrating and not what I expected from Sonos products.  Any help or troubleshooting would be really appreciated. 

Hello from Finland,I have been using Sonos system for 13 years. I have six different Sonos speakers. Half of them legacy S1 -only speakers and half modern ones. I finally realized I have to move to S2 and forget old speakers. I just realized that Sonos playlists don’t move from S1 to S2. I have couple 500 song playlists. I opened S2 and uppgraded new speakers to S2. Then I saw that playlists don’t move. I figured out that I have to manually move playlists to Spotify. Half a days work but possible. I opened S1 and started moving playlists by hand. I realised that I don’t have inaf time to do that at that day so I came back to do that couple days later (today) and S1 don’t open. It just says open S2. I deleted S2 app and cut new speakers from electricity. Won’t help. Can’t get S1 to open. See that old speakers flashes at app before it says “Us S2 app”. Are now old playlists destroyed? Can I do something to get old lists back? My wife will kill me for this..  

I have created a diagnostic for this issue.Kitchen and Lounge are grouped and were playing then Lounge stopped.It is still showing as playing but there is no sound coming from the speakers.

Since acquiring a Roam 2, I have it in the bathroom and connect it via groups to a stereo pair in the man bedroom… So I thought I’d create a pre-defined group called Showertime with the roam and stereo pair so that I can more quickly group.However… It doesn’t seem to work as expected (ignoring the annoying amount of swiping in the new app...). So on this screen I effectively have 2 predefined groups showing, Everywhere and Showertime. But, if the damned app is not on one of the rooms in the group Shower, when. press Shower, it adds shower to the room selected instead of changing the selection to what is in Shower… But, if I select Everywhere, which does the obvious, and then press Shower, it selects just the rooms in the group Shower, which is what I’d expect normally.. Is that how it’s supposed to work? Doesn’t seem very intuitive?

Music Library Settings is greyed out on Windows desktop app & not shown on Android. Unable to play music from my library. Occurred Saturday, 9/7. The Settings option under the "Manage" menu is also greyed out.  SONOS Controller - V16.3SONOS OS - S2Build - 80155014 

Tengo el problema que no puedo manejar parámetros en la aplicación, me pude reiniciar y lo hago pero no sirve de nada , reconoce las áreas de mi casa , pero además del volumen no puedo manejar ej el balance , por lo que escojo por ejemplo mono en el área de la piscina , e reinstalando la aplicación mi contraseña y no pasa nada , también. He desconectado los equipos pero no pasa nada el problema es la aplicación.  Adjunto lo que aparece pero no se soluciona. 

One hour before a party and the Sonos App no longer finds the Amp or Beam. Unplugged everything. Does anyone have any bright ideas. All my reservation about this system is coming to fruition.

I noticed that Sonos S2 app 8.07.05 running on Android 13 UI 5.1 smartphone sometimes stops and exit after being launched without no apparent reasons. Requiring to clean app cache data in order to have it working again.

Why does an “unable to load content” error message constantly appear in the app under my Sonos Favorites and My Stations Pinned Collection? Also since updating the app a few months ago one of the Jazz Groove stations I listen to every night before falling asleep can no longer be accessed from Recently Played. The only way I can listen to the station is to access it from Jazzgroove under My Services. What’s going on here?

I’ve got an unusual issue which has started over the last few weeks.The Sonos in my bedroom (Wired Sonos Amp S2) when playing BBC sounds keeps dropping out - sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes every 1 minute. The stream sometimes recovers after a 5 seconds, other times it simply stops.This morning, when I played the same stream via my desktop App, it actually has given me a more useful error message (than I got from the App) stating “song not encoded properly” ?However, if I play BBC Sounds via my mobile or desktop, it plays perfectly.I’ve done the normal “reboot everything” including internet.I’ve also setup continual PINGs from my desktop to the Sonos in question (just in case its somehow having connection issues) and to the Internet (just in case my Internet is failing). Everything shows a constant connection. Obviously Sonos buffers the audio stream anyway, so the odd packet loss should not impact it (if I stop the internet it takes around 25 seconds before the radio actually st

Curiosity …What can I learn from the information I can see when I go to ‘About my Sonos system…’ ?I understand the serial numbers (MAC addresses plus a character), Sonos OS (mine are all S2), IP addresses, and wireless modes (presently mine are all WM:0).I take the hardware version and ‘Version’ (software version) to be self-explanatory.Series ID is interesting.  I wonder what it means.OTP is even more interesting.  Some of my players have this and some not.  I wonder whether it’s something to do with SonosNet.  Perhaps, if I understood it, I’d know which players are supporting which other players in the network.  This could be useful if I were planning to move them.  FYI, presently only the Boost is wired to my router. Peter

Currently both my Sonos 5 Gen 1s are working well with S1 on iPad. Wondering if I can install the Sonos S1 for windows and also control the speakers? Will it conflict and break anything?
