Those Android users unfortunate enough to have installed the v16.3 firmware released on 17 July may have encountered a nasty bug that crashes the app over and over. Thanks to an intrepid detective on Reddit, we’ve narrowed down the bug and identified a weak workaround.The bug causing the crash seems to be triggered by local library music. Sonos Radio and TuneIn doesn’t work after the “May update”. I have to Reauthorize both but with TuneIn I get an error and with Sonos Radio a timeout…I have installed the old app and with the old app radios are working fine, “updated” again the app and radio doesn’t work.Anyone could Reauthorize Sonos Radio or TuneIn with the new app?

I can't access to sonos system eq through app. It keeps asking me to sign out and sign in, which i did and keeps on repeating same pop up msg. Need help...

I have a pair of Play 1s in the office and Apple Music plays fine through those either direct or via Alexa. But I have the same set up in the kitchen and Apple Music only plays through one speaker. I can see no difference in the Sonos app, but Alexa sees Office and Office Sonos, whereas it only sees Kitchen, no Kitchen Sonos. Alexa has created Office Sonos. Any idea what’s going on?

I have a queue containing only elements from the Pocket Casts service.That queue is not displayed in the new android app controller.It is displayed in the windows, the webapp, and the old android app controllers.That bug is here since the new app has been released.I didn't care until yesterday because I was still using the old app but I was foolish enough to trust sonos and update my system… 🤦🤦🤦    

Pandora is not working. Just does not start playing. 

Having just built a new house we have been planning on upgrading all of the dozen or so Sonos speakers we have as ours are a little old now - but the Sonos App is so appalling to use we have decided it may be better to look elsewhere, to a different company’s product. Are there any plans for a major overhaul of the new App? And if so, when?

There are some Podcasts that are shown under Albums and other Podcasts shown under Podcasts in Sonos Favorites. What is the difference between Albums and Podcasts under Sonos Favorites? 

WTF Sonos? You are garbage. Your app is no w complete garbage. Every time i go to use my simple system it's garbage. From not connecting (multiple mesh points with wifi coverage out to 1000’ from y residence), to not even being able to control volume on a device that's whiting 60’ of a primary router and 20’ from a mesh point.  What does it take to be a software engineer at Sonos, a pulse? If so, I'd check your SE’s pulses BTW.

I cannot open the Sonos app on iOS 17.6.1. It crashes every time I try to open it. So I tried to connect my wired home speakers through Spotify and now the speakers are playing independently and I cannot turn them off. I turned my iPhone off and they continued to play. Please help! 

I saw a similar post on this issue, but it was closed without any suggested resolution.  Last summer, based on reports that the new Sonos app was a dumpster fire, I had held off installing the update for a couple of months until my Sonos system “helpfully” advised me that some of my speakers would not play until I “upgraded” the app.So, I moved forward with the update.  Luckily, some of the issues (alarms and timers particularly) had been resolved by that time.  But, with the Sonos app on my iOS devices (iPhone and iPad), I can only see a handful of the 100+ Spotify playlists I have.  99% of my use of Sonos is with Spotify.  So, I would really like to see a solution to this issue (and saying “just use the app on your laptop” is not a solution).  Thank you.

Set up 2 Sonos 5, my music is in the Apple Music w, how to get it to play?

I've just signed up to Qobuz for a trial period. When trying to add to my Sonos I get the message "Error. Unable to add Qobuz account". Is this because I still haven't updated the app?

The sonos apps have updated on my iMac and iPhone and my library has once again disappeared. Ive set my external drive containing  the files to allow sharing and SONOS won't add the library.We’ve gone back a year again.just give us back the original app that just worked.I have 7 speakers with this system and I'm now seriously considering just selling them A year of being to constantly being unable to play my music from my library is just unacceptable

I can’t seem to find a way to sort my Sonos Favourites alphabetically, or anyway actually.  If I want them alphabetically, I have to add them in reverse order so that they are sorted correctly, but then if I decide to add new ones, there is no way to sort them unless I remove them all and re-add them again in reverse order.Is this going to be fixed in a future update?I have the latest version running on my iPhone (latest iOS version).Thanks,K

When I pick an album to play from my Apple Music library it shows the album and goes to the first track but doesn’t play and skips through each title without playing anything .

After updating the SONOS app to the latest version, when I try to run "TruePlay," it results in an error and the measurement is interrupted.My system configuration consists of a Beam (gen2), Sub Mini, and two Era100 speakers for surround sound.Specifically, when the test starts, the sound is supposed to come from the front, right rear, and left rear in that order. However, the measurement stops midway through the left rear speaker and doesn't progress further.Is there any solution to this issue?

a message to re-authorize my SiriusXM account on my Sonos app. When I go into Sirius and re-authorize it it says I’m good and then when I go back to Sonos, it tells me that it did not work?

I have 7 zones in my system and the bottom bar on the new app still confuses me every time I use it.  From what I can tell:If I click the album art or the currently playing song, it will pop up the “player view” for my current zone If I press the round button with 2 rectangles on it, I can manage my zone (and volumes).  But if I misclick the round button, it will pop up into the “player view” If I touch the volume slider, I can manage the volume of each set of speakers in my current set of zones If I swipe up on bottom bar, I can then flip to manage other zones in the houseMy brain knows all of this, but I seem to do the wrong thing every single time I try to use this damn app.  I think the UX team was too clever by about 50% when designing this. Also, I’d strongly prefer it to default to my zone that is currently playing music when I open the app.  It seems to default to a random zone whenever I open the app.

The Pocet Cast integration is not syncing, position nor completing an Episode with Pocket Cast App. Can you please take a look into this, to make it work again. App S2 Version 80.07.03-release-20240819.7fd7da0dd

Why wouldn’t Sonos produce a video tutorial describing how to use EACH feature of the new app? 

SHORT VERSIONThe Sonos app on my desktop machine shows content from the Plex server on my NAS. Sonos apps on my iOS devices on the same network do not show any Plex content. Why not? DETAILSMy music library is on a Synology NAS.I installed Plex Server on the same NAS. I have installed Plex as a content service in Sonos.The Sonos app running on my desktop machine sees the Plex server and shows its contents.The Sonos apps running on my iOS devices do not see the Plex server. They show Plex as a service, but when I select that service there is no list of available content. It’s just blank. Looks to me like they are not connecting with the media server.I also have the Plex app installed on the iOS devices. I’ll begin by saying that nothing in my home network environment has changed.  All Sonos products (roam, One, Arc) were working fine until today.  Now my Roam - which I’m currently playing music off via Apple Airplay - is showing as powered off in the Sonos app.  I mean, that’s clearly not the case.Now the app has thrown me into a ‘sign in as owner’ loop.  I sign back in and it asks me to do it again when I click on ‘my system’.I’ve uninstalled/installed the app.  No change.Any ideas?
