Cannot add NAS share that has a space in its name

I have an existing NAS configuration, where the share is //NAS/Music Library/   with a space.

If I try and add this to my Sonos SL using the app it just errors and tells me to check the username and password. (which I know are correct).

Now the example on screen tells me not to use the trailing slash character, but if I don’t use that then the Add button stays greyed out.    I cannot believe in 2024, that I cannot use a sharename with a space, so can someone please advise how I should enter the location (I have tried quotes etc)

I had issues with the new app what I did was download the windows app and added the share through that my share was \\ip.address\my music

The SMB protocol is decades old, and does not support spaces in share names. I am surprised your NAS actually let you create an invalid share name.

Well been working fine for nearly a decade on QNAP and Synology NAS boxes…  even MacOS allows me to use a share with a space,   Kodi picks up the share if you put a trailing slash character.   It’s fine I can live without connecting the music library to my one sonos device as my hifi BlueOS and Jriver software connects to an “invalid sharename” fine!

Thanks so much @k1elec 
That indeed was the solution.  I can confirm that the MacOS app allows me to add my chosen sharename as \\nasmusic\Music Library 

So definitely an issue with the iOS app then!   Anyway all solved, thanks for the guidance.
