Controllers and Music services

I’ve been using Tune In via my Sonos app and software for many years now with much success. I’m currently using the Sonos S1 Controller on my laptop and the app on my Samsung S8 Android phone. Most of the Tune In stations work fine but when I went to listen to the Auburn Football pregame show this past Saturday afternoon on Tune In via  the Sonos S1 Controller or app I got a message that said - Auburn Football and below that - Auburn University - AUSN Identifier 1. This is the first time I haven’t been able to listen to the Auburn pregame show using Sonos and Tune In so I was surprised. For the most part any other Tune In station on Sonos worked perfectly fine. I deleted the Auburn Network on Tune In and added Auburn Football back but no luck. I’m still getting the same message and no audio - Auburn University - AUSN Identifier 1. Can you please help me to resolve this issue? Thanks very much.

Can night mode to be schedulled? Same like on the mobile phones.

Hi,So, it seems that that many of my saved stations are (now) geo-locked. Can anybody then recommend a service that is not geo locked? The main reason that I bought the Sonos product is so that I can listen to these stations!

Migrating from S1 as Connect has died. Set up new Port no problem. Playing Spotify through my amp no problem. But can't connect My Play 1 or PlayBar which were part of the S1 system.  Tried to remove them from S1 controller but no luck.  Any ideas? Thank you.

Goededag,Wij hebben Sonos connect en meerdere  Sonos connect-amp via utp aangesloten.Omdat het wifi signaal niet sterk genoeg is in ons huis hebben we Wifi-versterkers geplaatst.Dit zijn de Tp-link M4 versterkers die via Ziggo kunnen worden aangeschaft.Als de wifiversterkers aan staan kan de App het Sonos systeem niet meer vinden. We hebben de versterkers dezelfde netwerk naam en wachtwoord gegeven. Kan dit opgelost worden met de wifi-versterkers aan? Mvg Ron

Hello, I know that the Sonos App displays a Dolby Atmos icon when my Arc is playing an Atmos Title but when it’s just 5.1, should I expect a Dolby 5.1 Icon? Thanks 

Hello. I’m new to Sonos. I’ve ordered two Sonos Ones and a full Arc entertainment set. They are coming the end of the week. I was wondering if there was any where that shows when software updates for these devices come out and release notes for them? Can’t seem to find anything. Thank you 😊 

Has anyone else had problems playing 181.fm radio stations. My stored favourites just don’t play anymore and don’t come up if I search.

I’m running a pure S1 system.  My 10.6 iMac controller says that there are updates available but I am not sure if it’s going to update to S2 and screw things up royally.  How can I tell if this is safe to do?  The components are all saying that they ar on 11.2.3 Build 57381090.

Hi...I have a playbar, couple of 5’s, couple of 3’s, couple of 1’s...since I installed the updated app, it randomly keeps crashing, even a minute or two after I used it...more often than not it’s default message is “unable to connect to system”. Its incredibly frustrating when all I want to do is adjust the volume, but then have to spend 15 mins re-booting the app, my phone, the system to perform a simple task. I’m nearly at the point where I’m ready to junk the whole damn lot and change to a different system, I never had these problems with the previous version of the app.I’m assuming I’m not the only one suffering these issues, so where’s the central support?the issues I regularly have is the “unable to connect, try again later” message. Its appearance is inconsistent and can be when i first use the system on any given day, a few seconds after previous use..to get it going again, any of the following may, or may not work, depending on what mood the thing appears to be in:Shutting the

I can transfer my Spotify to my Sonos, but can you transfer a Sonos playlist to my Spotify??  and how??

I have a Samsung PN43F4500 tv. Recently we just got the Sonos playbar. Setup was simple as always. The only issue is the TV displays this (see attached pic) message and won’t go away for 8-10 seconds or by clicking ok. Is this a glitch? Any way around this? 

So now many of us are losing the ability to stream from Google Play, are Sonos looking to help their users find another free streaming service?I found iBroadcast but can see that a few years back conversations were happening between the companies, but what has happened?

Does anyone know how to access the lyrics for Apple Music via Sonos? On the Sonos website it clearly states that this is available, but I cannot find it anywhere.   

I'm having an odd issue - I can't seem to add (or play) Apple Music on my Sonos --- directly from Apple Music. I can stream from my Windows PC (presumably AirPlay 2) - but I can't actually play my (paid) Apple Music library from the Sonos app.I'm getting error 701 on my iPad, and "UNABLE TO ADD TO QUEUE" (no error code) on the Windows 10 native Sonos app.OTHER details: The only (recent) change to my Sonos system is I added Spotify Premium. I think something may have gotten corrupted - even the name of my Apple Music service was what I thought I set Spotify to.FINALLY: I've had Sonos (and 10 zones) for >11 years so I'm pretty familiar - and had to remove my Sonos Bridge (thanks Sonos) when S2 was released. That's when weird stuff like this started...

Hoe kan ik die steeds terugkerende vraag naar het checken van compatibiliteit met de s2-app uitschakelen? Ik heb juist die s1-app moeten installeren omdat Sonos een apparaat van een paar jaar oud als verouderd heeft gelabeld. Die reminder is overbodig en ik neem aan dat dat voor alle gebruikers van de s1-app geldt. Is dit een beetje jennen soms van Sonos? 

I use only Spotify Premium, build playlists in Spotify, and play via Sonos (Playbar; Play 1). I cannot get beyond 4K songs per Spotify playlist for Sonos queue to accept it. Everything I’m reading indicates either no max size, or a much larger than 4K song playlist. Any helpers?Lou, BC, Cda.

I’ve seen a number of old, now closed, comments about this and would like to address it once again. I’d love to be able to create named folders in Favorites so I could better organize what I listen to. Playlists doesn’t do what I want as it will add all songs individidually from an album, not just the album like Favorites does. For example, I might add folders for Jazz, Blues, Rock, Ambient, Classical, Folk, Soul etc.and have favorite albums from each genre. Anyone else want a feature like this?
