So, it seems that that many of my saved stations are (now) geo-locked. Can anybody then recommend a service that is not geo locked? The main reason that I bought the Sonos product is so that I can listen to these stations!

You could probably try to Add an Internet radio station to Sonos using your computer.
Add this URL: https://mytuner-radio.com/
It may or may not find the stations you're looking for.

Not much Sonos can do as it’s a legal restriction placed on Tune in. If you can find the streaming url for the radio station you can set it up manually via the add a station. There is a big thread on this somewhere.
