I’m running a pure S1 system. My 10.6 iMac controller says that there are updates available but I am not sure if it’s going to update to S2 and screw things up royally. How can I tell if this is safe to do? The components are all saying that they ar on 11.2.3 Build 57381090.

Yes it’s safe to update the Mac controller to the current S1 version as well (scroll down).
