Hello. 
I’m new to Sonos. I’ve ordered two Sonos Ones and a full Arc entertainment set. They are coming the end of the week. I was wondering if there was any where that shows when software updates for these devices come out and release notes for them? Can’t seem to find anything. Thank you 😊

Thank you. But isn’t this just for the app? I mean release notes and software update announcements for the actual products. 


The app is merely a remote control for the software running on the computers in the speakers, so they would be one and the same.


So you are saying when the app is updated it includes fixes for things on the speakers? For example if there was a problem with the arc it would show on the release notes and then be accessible via the app as a software update?


Generally, yes. They rarely update just the controller for an issue there, but in most cases, it’s a paired update. You receive a new controller, and the process also updates the software running on each Sonos device. You can also explicitly choose, within the controller, to automatically update the software running on the speakers, which I recommend.
