Is it possible to pair sonos one gen 2 with sonos 5?

I am looking to set up home with a multi-room speaker system that can play the sound from my turntable to 3 different rooms. I am struggling to decide the correct pairing of components.  Things to consider: -My turntable is the Audio-technica AT-LP120, that has a built-in switchable phono pre-amplifier with RCA output cables. -I don’t have an amplifier currently connected to the turntable. -I have a friend selling a Sonos Connect and not sure if this will suffice or I should be lookng at the Sonos Amp. He is also selling an earlier model Sonos One and a Sonos Beam.  

Considering buying the Arc to complement by 55” Samsung Frame but concerned with all the negative comments in the forums regarding issues with eARC and the OneConnect box. Seems to be a real lack of comment from Sonos customer service around resolving this issue with Samsung. 

So im looking to change my tv sound system. Right now i have a bar, sub, 2 small speakers. Im tired of having so many speakers everywhere! I heard that the Arc is the new full surround sound system that plays the role of all those speakers combined. That was the opinion of a few people, but id like more opinions. My objective is to have 1 speaker that does wonders in terms of surround sound to end the clutter in the living room.thanks!!

Trying to take advantage of the Sonos (up to 30%) upgrade discount available online (upgrading from an older Five to the newer version)…  Have clicked on my existing product and website now states ‘redeemed’ (or similar) but when I go to purchase the new product via website it still seems to comes back with the ‘regular’ full-price for the product, rather than showing the reduced price (i.e. full/regular price MINUS 30% discount [in this case] therefore customer asked to enter credit/debit card for the lower-cost total price.  Anyone had a similar experience - and more importantly - know how to resolve so I can pay the reduced/discounted total ‘upgrade’ price?Many thanks. Hi guys, Wondering if anyone can help me with this:My current set up is I have a sonos Beam and a seperate old stereo/vinyl record player set up.I’m looking to upgrade my record player however to a Sony PS-LX310BT, which comes with built in phono pre-amp and bluetooth connection. I understand that I may not be able to connect the record player to my SONOS Beam, but would really like to be able to incorporate it into the vinyl set up (as the old stereo/speakers currently connected are not great..). Does anyone know of the easiest/most cost effective way of eitherConnecting the sony record player directly to the Beam orBuying another SONOS product that the sony record player will be able to connect to and will allow me to play from the Beam also. (note. the record player has line-out aswell as bluetooth connection)I’d really appreciate anyones advice as this would take my current seperate (very basic) setups to the next level.  Thanks in advance!! 

I'm a little confused over the sonos website and sales. First issue when ordered arc said was in stock then was given a date for one month after. So changed colour to one in stock. Also ordered the sub gen 3 in November given the date of 11 December. To wait to the day to call for confirmation to be told won't be untill end of January almost 2 months after my initial order and a month after the date I purchased the product knowingly. Well the question really is why not just explain these thing's on the website, as the main pretence is you will receive your product within 2 days which is deceiving even products in stock take a week to receive. Also if a product is not in stock why wait untill a customer calls asking why the date given when purchase and after has not been met infact giving a new date which is a month later than the stated date on the sale invoice. First post here.  I am definitely not a Sonos expert so I am going to try and articulate this (probably simple) question as best I can!So right now I have 2 ancient Gen1 ConnectAmps that power 3 rooms and 2 zones.  To be more specific, I have one zone called “Patio” with wired speakers connecting to the first ConnectAmp and a second zone called “Kitchen / Diving Room” that connects the wired speakers in both those rooms (operating as basically a combined zone) to the second ConnectAmp.What I would like to do is purchase 2 new Sonos amps, keep one of my old ConnectAmps, and basically move the currently combined zone to its own individual zone. That would mean putting Kitchen as Zone 1 on the new Amp, Dining Room as Zone 2 on the second new Amp, and then leaving Patio as its own Zone on the old ConnectAmp.  That seems pretty basic to me, but the more I read the more confused I become so wanted to ask the question here.  Is that a viable option?  In theory, I don’t see why that would not

I have a couple of Play 1’s that are paired in my family room plus a single Play 1 in the bedroom. I’m looking for a little more robust sound for the family room. Currently there is a lack of rich bass. Am I better of going with a Play 5 or a Sub? Sometime along I would like to pair all of this with TV and CD music. Currently I have a non-Sonos soundbar and sub-woofer. What additional devices will I need?

I have a play bar connected to two play ones in one room and a play 3 in another room. The play 3 is connected to a WiFi router. What the easiest way to connect a turntable to my system and what would I need.

Sonos Web portal and users account should be improved to allow backorders or any orders not shipped to be cancelled.  As of today, even Chat Support was unable to assist me in cancellation of my order.  The service rep stated my request to cancel ordered had to be elevated...seriously!

HiI’m new in this comunity, and I joined before purchasing any Sonos product. If possible, could you please help me in choosing the best solution?I’m searching for a product that could give me the possibility to both listen to music from cd player and other devices, and also from itunes and apps; besides, I’d like to have some wireless speakers in other rooms apart from the one where the devices are placed. it is better a solution with One or Five speakers, or with the Port solution? In this last case, it is possible to associate to the Port some One speakers ot extend the signal to other rooms? We have recently purchased the Sonos Arc for our living room TV with a Sonos Sub.Looking to add rear ceiling speakers for surround and music.Would like to have full Atmos capabilities in the ceiling speakers. Our ceilings are 14 feet and pre-wired for speakers. (I assume Trueplay would be important for optimization) Would like to play music as well from the ceiling speakers.Thanks for the help. 

Hi! So I currently have a Sonos Surround set up for my tv in the living room, consisting of two One SLs, Arc, and a Sub, which are great.  But I was thinking that maybe it would be beneficial to purchase a single Play Five (pared with my Sub) to use strictly for music in that same room. Mind you I live in a one bedroom apartment In Charlotte, NC. It’s not a closet by any means. It’s an average size for an apartment in NC at the price I pay, which is a little over 1000. Is that practical? Does it make sense to have a Play 5 to use strictly for music playback while the surround system is dedicated to tv and movies? I would also like to hook a Play Five up to a CD Player in the near future via Line In.

Hi there,I have recently put a deposit for a Samsung Q95T with the one box.I am set on buying the Arc sorround set. However after doing some online researching I have found a lot of concerning remarks that the Sonos Arc and Samsung Q95T have some connectivity issues.May I check if the problem has been resolved? If not I will look into buying another TV. Thank you.

If I buy a pair of the new Fives, do I still need a Sub? I see the Fives have 3 woofers? I suspect the Sub will improve the overall sound but I’m keen for any experience from the community.
