First post here. I am definitely not a Sonos expert so I am going to try and articulate this (probably simple) question as best I can!So right now I have 2 ancient Gen1 ConnectAmps that power 3 rooms and 2 zones. To be more specific, I have one zone called “Patio” with wired speakers connecting to the first ConnectAmp and a second zone called “Kitchen / Diving Room” that connects the wired speakers in both those rooms (operating as basically a combined zone) to the second ConnectAmp.What I would like to do is purchase 2 new Sonos amps, keep one of my old ConnectAmps, and basically move the currently combined zone to its own individual zone. That would mean putting Kitchen as Zone 1 on the new Amp, Dining Room as Zone 2 on the second new Amp, and then leaving Patio as its own Zone on the old ConnectAmp. That seems pretty basic to me, but the more I read the more confused I become so wanted to ask the question here. Is that a viable option? In theory, I don’t see why that would not
I have a couple of Play 1’s that are paired in my family room plus a single Play 1 in the bedroom. I’m looking for a little more robust sound for the family room. Currently there is a lack of rich bass. Am I better of going with a Play 5 or a Sub? Sometime along I would like to pair all of this with TV and CD music. Currently I have a non-Sonos soundbar and sub-woofer. What additional devices will I need?
Hello,Does the Sonos One have two speakers, i.e. does it play true stereo? Thanks
I’m looking at my first Sonos installation to cover an open plan area which includes the living/dinning room and kitchen with total area of 700sq ft. in a rectangular layout. - The must haves are ceiling speakers.Would appreciate some recommendations on the best set-up and number of speakers to cover the area. thanks!
I have a Play 5 Gen 1 and eligible for trade up, I would like to know is the trade up promo code good for 1 new product only or entire order? Because I want to expand my Sonos system, I plan to get the Arc, one Play 5 Gen 3 (to replace my old Play 5 Gen 1), one Move, and another pair of One Gen 2. Thanks.
I have a play bar connected to two play ones in one room and a play 3 in another room. The play 3 is connected to a WiFi router. What the easiest way to connect a turntable to my system and what would I need.
How can I add my Crosley Cruiser Deluxe Turntable via Bluetooth or RCA Out to my Sonos Playbar, Sub & Sonos Ones?
Sonos Web portal and users account should be improved to allow backorders or any orders not shipped to be cancelled. As of today, even Chat Support was unable to assist me in cancellation of my order. The service rep stated my request to cancel ordered had to be elevated...seriously!
hi, with your trade in scheme, can I trade an old connect, for a new amp, if so could you tell me the price.
I’m interested in the Surround Set, which has 4 products within it (Arc, Sub, 2x One SL). I also have a bunch of 30% upgrade discounts available, and plan to use them.If I buy the Surround Set, does it use up one of my upgrade discounts, or 4 of them?

HiI’m new in this comunity, and I joined before purchasing any Sonos product. If possible, could you please help me in choosing the best solution?I’m searching for a product that could give me the possibility to both listen to music from cd player and other devices, and also from itunes and apps; besides, I’d like to have some wireless speakers in other rooms apart from the one where the devices are placed. it is better a solution with One or Five speakers, or with the Port solution? In this last case, it is possible to associate to the Port some One speakers ot extend the signal to other rooms? With the Five is it possibile to connect a cd player or similar? How many speakers could be connected similtaneously? For a 30 mq room what is the best solution between a Five and a set of 2 One speakers?Additionally: the One and Five speakers could be associated also (and simultaneously) with a Beam soudbar to have an improved home theater effect? Thanks in advanceBest regardsNicola
We have recently purchased the Sonos Arc for our living room TV with a Sonos Sub.Looking to add rear ceiling speakers for surround and music.Would like to have full Atmos capabilities in the ceiling speakers. Our ceilings are 14 feet and pre-wired for speakers. (I assume Trueplay would be important for optimization) Would like to play music as well from the ceiling speakers. Thanks for the help.
Hi! So I currently have a Sonos Surround set up for my tv in the living room, consisting of two One SLs, Arc, and a Sub, which are great. But I was thinking that maybe it would be beneficial to purchase a single Play Five (pared with my Sub) to use strictly for music in that same room. Mind you I live in a one bedroom apartment In Charlotte, NC. It’s not a closet by any means. It’s an average size for an apartment in NC at the price I pay, which is a little over 1000. Is that practical? Does it make sense to have a Play 5 to use strictly for music playback while the surround system is dedicated to tv and movies? I would also like to hook a Play Five up to a CD Player in the near future via Line In.
Wie kann ich einen Plattenspieler, gerne auch von Sonos, in mein System mit Playbar einbinden???
Hi there,I have recently put a deposit for a Samsung Q95T with the one box.I am set on buying the Arc sorround set. However after doing some online researching I have found a lot of concerning remarks that the Sonos Arc and Samsung Q95T have some connectivity issues.May I check if the problem has been resolved? If not I will look into buying another TV. Thank you.
If I buy a pair of the new Fives, do I still need a Sub? I see the Fives have 3 woofers? I suspect the Sub will improve the overall sound but I’m keen for any experience from the community.
Hi, I’m looking to buy a few sonos one’s and maybe a sonos’s beam but would really like to save a few quid and get them certified refurbished from sonos as I have no problem with a used device. I was just wondering how regularly are the refurbished speakers restocked? and how quickly do they sell out?
Hi All,I recently got the Arc and Subwoofer. I’m looking for some recommendations on a new power surge protector.
Hi. I'd like to get a Sonos Arc. I currently have my LG TV connected to my Denon avr. I have my Sky, BTtv and XBox all connected to my Denon. This enables me to get Dolby Atmos through speakers attached to my Denon. If I get a Sonos Arc can I go from my current setup on my Denon into the Sonos Arc then out into my LG (or some similar setup) and get Atmos through the Sonos AND Denon avr and speakers at the same time? Don't know why but just think I'd like to keep my speakers as they are whilst also having the Sonos Arc. Am I being daft thinking like this? Cheers in advance.
I have a Play:1 and Play:5 (Gen 1). I’m thinking of getting a Sonos Beam and wanted to understand if the Beam would group to the Play:1 and Play:5 (Gen 1)? I can’t think to find confirmation of this functionality on the Sonos site.
For anyone who uses the Symfonisk lamp as a pseudo-alarm clock: can any of the physical controls on the lamp function as a snooze button for an alarm that’s programmed via S2? Or is snooze only possible using the app?Side question: I can’t figure out how the speaker is configured behind the mesh of the lamp. Is there a proper “front” to the speaker (relative to the on-off switch for the lamp)?
Hi! - I have a Sonos system (2 Play 1’s as surrounds, Playbar) and also a Connect which I use to link my turntable to the system. Since the Connect is a legacy item, I’ve looked to shield from S2 updates. However, it is getting more and more difficult to avoid e.g. today both Play 1’s went ‘missing’ and the app tells me I have to update to S2 to sort it out.So, 2 questions:Is there any way I can ‘find’ those missing speakers whilst continuing to use S1, or If I have to bite the bullet, what is the best upgrade option to replace my Connect... Port? Amp?Any help, much appreciated - thanks
Hi allVery impressed. Ordered direct from SONOS dispatched from Holland and with me next day ! All set up quite simple having watched a few tutorials…It has replaced an Orbitsound Bar from around 2014 which had a wireless Sub..The clarity of voice is so much better with the SONOS but lacks a bit of bass. So, I am considering the SONOS sub… which is dearer than the Beam was.. While I am pleased with the Beam, would I be ‘blown away’ my spending the hard earned on the Sub ? Any others with this setup of a beam and a sub?
I’ve just bought an Arc and connected it to my existing Sub Gen 2 and two play 5 rears. I’ve also just bought a 75” Sony TV with eArc and I’m pondering the purchase of a second new Gen 3 sub. My room is 7m x 7m and has a 3m ceiling. Before I commit to this, just wondering if anyone else has bought a second sub and if there’s much of a difference?
