Hey all! I’m wanting to remove some clutter and am thinking about mounting my one SL’s to the wall. I was curious if anyone had tinkered with some of the mounts. Ive been seeing people say really good things about the Flexon. I love the Sonos mounts due to the design and magnetic ball on the back. However the sanus mounts look for appealing as well. Anyone got any experience with one or both or all three?
Hi, We are renovating our new house. We’re looking to install Sonos in ceiling speakers in 3 rooms. We would need 4 speakers in Kitchen/lounge also one in main bathroom and 1 in the main bedroom.I know i need an amp but unsure if i need 1 or 2. Could you advise me on what i need to do this please? Some questions:Do i need a wire from my wifi to the amp/amps? Do the amps have to be near or can i put them in the office or a cupboard? Can i plug 4 speakers into the 1 amp? Can i switch off one speaker/room and use the others or do i have to use them all together? I am planning on getting a sound bar for 2 tvs also, what wires do i need for this? And where from and too? Do i need 1 or 2 Amps for 6 speakers and 2 sound bars What speaker wire is best to use? am i best buying the speakers etc from the Sonos website? Sorry for all the questions, I have no idea, my electrician is trying to convince me to buy £50 bluetooth speakers rather than Sonos, so he isn't helpful.I’d really appreciate so
Hi Folkscan someone kindly help me please?i was considering buying a gen 3sub, the reviews I read about the ARC playbar suggest that a sub may not be necessary as the bass response from the ARC is supposed to be very good, the question I ask is as followsi don’t have EARC on my Samsung tv only ARC hence I won’t be able to play in Atmos 😥what sound formats will the playbar be able to play using the ARC output from the tv?Many ThanksMartin
I have a LG CX and what to mount it to my wall. But I have a lot of questions? I am using this mount fo LG https://www.vogels.com/en-us/c/thin-505-extrathin-fixed-tv-wall-mountI have read this:When wall-mounting, it is recommended to have a clearance of at least 5.5 inches between the TV and Arc. As per important safety information one of the lists states; Do not block any ventilation openings. Leave a recommended space of 4“ (10cm) around the unit. How high should I mount my LG to the wall? How high should I mount my arc? Which mount for ARC? Should I get the mount that can extend 2 inches? https://www.sanus.com/en_US/products/mounts/wssatm1/ or get the flat mount? I want the arc to be as closed to wall as possible. Do I need a mount that has magnet? Once I get my TV Mounted, I should mount arc 4inch or 5.5 inch below TV? it is recommended to have a clearance of at least 5.5 inches. Any hints or suggestion would be great.Thank you!

I have a Sonos gen 1 playbar and 2 play 1s gen 1 the playbar is linked via fibre optic to a Samsung smart tv. The sound is really good 👍1st question. Do you think the addition of a gen 3 sub would be beneficial in a room approx 4metres x 4 metres to this setup?2nd question. What are the best settings on tv and Sonos to get 5.1 sound? Maybe arc into a hdmi / fibre optic converter or just fibre optic?what streaming apps work best for 5.1i guess this may have been asked before so apologies if so 😢Thank youMartin
Hello all, is there any way to confirm a ZP90 is still functional (and not been used for Upgrade and bricked) before purchase?.
Hi all, Wonder if you can give me some advice please. I'm thinking of buying a turntable to play all of my old vinyl and I want it to work with my current Sonos setup. Everything that I've read suggests that it needs to be a cable connection between the turntable and speaker. Provided I buy a WiFi enabled turntable, can I connect via WiFi to the speaker? Many thanks 😀
Are your inventory affected by corona, since a home theatre kit has been unavailable since’20?could you by any chance inform us when that product range will be available?
I have home with built in speakers throughout home in ceilings. I have Connect and output wires going to speakers and it shows playing thru the app but no sound. Do I also need a receiver going into the Connect as a Line in to hear the music? Or can it just play trough the app and the WiFi. Thanks for any guidance.
Hey guys, so i forgot to use my voucher in time. Is there any chance i can get a new one? I contacted Disney’s support and they say it’s up to Sonos to renew it. Is it possible? I tried to chat with Sonos support, but the chat app never loads for me.
I'm looking to purchase the Sonos Arc Dolby Atmos system. I have a few questions first. 1) Can I purchase directly from the website? If so, does anyone know if I pay in instalments or with credit? Are there any payment options beyond paying upfront?2) Apparently they are out of stock. Any idea when they typically get more in stock?3) I'm unsure about what to do in terms of placement. At the moment, my current soundbar sits on top of a TV unit, in front of the TV, but the soundbar isn't tall enough that it gets in the way. Unfortunately, the Sonos bar is tall enough that it will block the bottom of my screen. So, I can either put my TV on the wall (which I don't want to do) or I can put the soundbar on a shelf underneath the top of the TV unit. I've read that the soundbar fires upwards, so I'm guessing that it has to be in a position where nothing is directly above it?
I have a room with a TV surround sound system. So playbase, sub and two rear play one speakers.I now want to add a project debut esprit sonos edition turntable which comes with a built in phono pre amp.My question is how best to connect it to this system. I could buy a Sonos 5 speaker which would connect directly and then link by WiFi. However is there a better way? And would having a Sonos 5 in this room disrupt my TV surround sound system or improve it?
I have the beam and rear play ones. I’m interested in getting the sub BUT, my wife hates loud sounds and I live in an apartment. I know you can adjust the bass levels so my question is , will the minimal bass setting sound “ok” for my quiet environment. I don’t need loud explosions. Just need to add a slight bass punch to my current setup.Or would i better off getting the ARC for improved bass. The only bad thing is that the room is not a traditional 4 wall space. Its kind of wide open behind me and to one side. Thanks
Hi, I am a novice at tech stuff and new to Sonos, so go easy on me! I have a Sonos PlayBar, Play1 and Sonos One. Just bought an Audio-Technica bluetooth turntable LP60XBT. Can I use bluetooth to connect this to my general Sonos system? After reading many comments in this community, I am gleaning that the answer is no, except for the Sonos Move. But using the Move will not connect to the rest of the system when it’s receiving bluetooth from the turntable? Thanks in advance for suggestions!
Hi everyone Im looking to get a sonos system for my whole house I am building. Well at least for 90% of it. Assuming budget really isnt an issue what you recommend for the following setup wants:I can wire ethernet to any spot as walls are completely open or I have many wired access points going in for WiFi. My goal is to have the option of playing all zones with same music for parties or separate zones for daily kids/life etc. Kitchen speakers Dining Speakers Main living area( 14 ft ceilings and very large room) outdoor patio around pool as separate zone from covered patio. garage Master bedroom surround system My main living area is probably going to have a 7.2 or 9.2 separate stand alone system for movies as I dont think the sonos is the best fir got dolby atmos given the large volume of ceilings/space. But ill was thinking to put 2 or 4 sonos ceilings speakers in also to allow for the continuous and ease of use for large parties Any suggestions on the this set up?
Does the Beam make a big difference to dialogue on the T.V.?
Does anyone know if I can connect six (6) Sonance in-ceiling architectural speakers to one Amp? They are 8 ohms and 125 watts for the pair. These are the Best Buy Sonance 6 1/2” round in-ceiling speakers. Thanks!
Music for 12 by 30 foot room
Hello,I am setting up a new system and would like some advice. I will be getting a sound bar and sub and would like to add two ceiling speakers to create a 5.1 sound system. Is that possible? As the sound bar does not have speaker wire input, how do I achieve this?Regards
All, New to Sonos... We bought two IKEA Symfonisk speaker and got the Arc for X-mas. Have them all connected and love them. I have a vast record collection and want to be able to connect my turntable to the Sonos network. I’ve read online and it seems nearly impossible save RasberryPi and I’m not tech savvy to even attempt. I’m willing to update my turntable or try bridging (RCA to HMI) or whatever. I’m looking for suggestions, ideas, some way for me to not have to add another set of speakers. Would buying a used Connect be an option with the newer speakers-is it even compatible? I’ve read the other posts but was hoping there is something else outside dropping another $500+ on another Sonos speaker.
Hi.I’m based in the (UK) and having recently bought a Sonos Arc I now want to buy the best 60” TV to go with it. Does anyone already have this arrangement set up who can offer any advice on a 60” TV? I will probably use it with ROKU as the main source although also direct from TV.I will only be seated 2.5 metres from the wall mounted TV so think a 65” will be too big…. so 60” is the best size for me.Thanks 😊
Hi, I am planning to buy sonos in ceiling speakers and connect them to sonos amp. Can I also connect Sonos sub gen 3 to pair with these ceiling speakers using Sonos amp. Thanks in Advance
