Hi,A week ago I completed the form to return my products under the 100 day return policy, I received a confirmation email immediately advising that I will be contacted with in one business day. A week later and after sending three email to request an update to the process of the return, I still have not got a reply to any email.After a quick look through the forum at the similar experience others have had with the return of products under the 100 day return process to be unsatisfactory and in serious need to address the current failure of communication from Sonos in regards to the process. I would like for an update one the return process of my case please. kind regardsBen

If I pre order an item will the payment be taken straight away or when the item is shipped ? 

Tried to preorder right after the announcement and it keeps telling me ‘sorry it doesn’t exist’ even though in multiple places it says, ‘preorder now’.  

I have searched high and low for answers to my questions, but can never seem to find an article/video/review that has answers to my very specific questions.  I hope the folks here can provide details that I need to make my decision!First, I’ll give you my setup/situation:I live in a small townhome with a small living room and am interested in downsizing my (very) modest home theater, piece by piece.  It currently includes:TV:  Samsung UN50J6200AFXZA (HDMI STB, HDMI DVI, but no eARC/ARC HDMI) Primary source:  Apple TV 4K Blu Ray AV Receiver + 2.1 Polk speaker systemQUESTIONS Will a SONOS Arc work at all w/ a pre-eARC/ARC HDMI TV?  (If 1 is “YES”) How would a SONOS Arc best fit into my TV + Apple TV setup?  Is it possible to integrate a Blu Ray as an additional source here?Thanks to everyone!

I’m getting a turntable and want to connect it to my Sonos system. I have no idea what the best layout would be. The room is a 13’ square with the diagram below. I have a playbase in the TV corner (1), and two Play:1s at (2) and (3). What I would prefer is for the turntable to be on the cabinet (2), but it could be above TV at (1). To connect the turntable, I’d need to buy a Play:5 for (2) and move the Play:1, maybe to shelf (3). If I need to put it above the TV I could connect it via Amp, or maybe an optical switch to the playbase (will never have TV and turntable on at the same time). Any recommendations or alternatives I’m overlooking for best layout? Thanks for helping a noob out. 

Hi all!We are building a new house and I am in the midst of designing the sound stage of the different rooms. Regarding our kitchen, it is the place we will be the most in the enitre house and also there we will host the smaller parties etc. in the future, so the sound stage here is very important, both for everyday listening while cooking but also bigger events with family and friends. I am thinking 4 Sonos ONE in each corner placed approx. 230cm above floor level (total space from floor to ceiling is 255cm). Is it too much with 4 ONE’s? I could maybe mount 2 FIVES’s on one end instead and get even better sound instead of 4 ONES, but as I understand it Sonos FIVE does not have good selection on the mounting side of things? I have attached a drawing so you can see the size of our Kitchen, and marked my thoughts for placement with yellow marker.  

Is there a suggestion for a 2.1 set up? I was thinking of bypassing the soundbar for a cleaner more typical set up - not a huge fan of the “soundbar look.” I imagine the best way would be two play 1s or Play 3s, sub and Amp?  Thank you! Mark 

I live in a pretty small loft. Like 300 sq. Basically a box. Currently I have a beam (attached to 55” tv) and 2 ‘stereo’ play 1s that are behind the couch. I have great sound in my place. But I want a little more….umf. I’m considering getting a sub. I just need help getting the ultimate setup to be really immersed in sound. I don’t have a lot of funds to drop. But was also looking at the arc, or another pair of play 1s for the front? Any suggestions?

Hi !I have 2 play:1 speakers. I would like to get a vinyl turntable and use those 2 speakers with it. How can I do so?Also I would like to buy a home cinema speaker for small TV like the Beam. Can it be used also with the turntable?

Had one of my SYMFONISK lamps die, Sonos rouble shot over the phone and recommended replacement. So mailed it back to family in the states to return and they were told at the Tampa Ikea that the SYMFONISK lamp was discountinued. they had no more there and couldn’t order it from the store to ship to my families house anymore. Anyone else heard of this? I was able to order one online and had it shipped ot my familys place still. The ikea employee said he thinks its because of issues with them? I have another that is perfectly fine. Hope this new one is not a dud too! 

Hi, does it make sense to have 2 in-ceiling speakers in the kitchen and 2 fives on the sideboard in the living area? I can’t put 2 speakers in the ceiling above the dining room table in the grey box, but I could put in just one on the garden side of the ceiling. Or would two Sonos 1’s on stands high up in the kitchen be better than ceiling speakers? 

Hello!  So I have encountered an issue regarding a recent order from a local retailer here in Riga, Latvia. I ordered SONOS Five from their internet store - https://www.tet.lv/veikals/sonos-five-black.html which appears to really be SONOS Five. It looks the same as the one from the SONOS product page.  They delivered me this product instead - SONOS PLAY:5 (Gen2) (see the pictures attached): Photo 1Photo 2Photo 3Photo 4When I contacted them about this issue, they insisted that it is the same product. Is it really because a simple google search seems to reveal different information? Also they are saying that after contacting SONOS, they have be assured that it is the same speaker.Am I really mixing up two different products here? In regards, Linda

We have contacted the distributor in the area (Kpsport) but they do not give us availability of most of the products in our order, nor delivery time. Hi Im new to Sonos and have just purchased a Sonos arc and have a LG OLED tv and I’m thinking about getting two symfonisk speaks to setup as surrounds.  I can’t find out if this will work? Can anyone confirm? Or do I have to get two Sonos sl’s also would the SL’s sound better?   thanks

Hi all,  I’ve got a playbar, sub (gen 2), and two play:1’s as the rear surrounds in my downstairs family room. I have a 3rd party sub (Hsu Research VTF-2) that I haven’t used in ages since I “upgraded” to a sonos system. I’ve since then gotten an arc in my upstairs entertainment area. I’m thinking of either 1) adding the 3rd party sub to the arc, or 2) moving the sub to pair with the arc and adding the 3rd party sub to the playbar/play:1 combo. Anybody with experience doing this? What equipment would I need? Amp? Connect? I had thought about selling the 3rd party sub but figured that I could make use of it in one of the two rooms! Thanks in advance for any tips or advice!

Hi, I am thinking of buying a beam 5.1 surround set (beam, 2x one sl and sub) for my TV and general music. If I set this up to all come on with my tv, can I use a voice command to play music through this without the tv?Then if possible, how difficult is it to play music with the beam off?And how difficult is it to configure the two one sl’s to play loud music rather than background surround sound? Thank you.

A huge leak just came out tonight from the Verge regarding The new Sonos product. If you are interested in the rumored details including images, pricing, specs etc. just search for it and it’s all over. Sucks that it popped early as it’s like being told what you got for Christmas before you are able to open thise special Santa gifts.

I wish to buy a pair of Play:5 gen 2 speakers (white) and am advised that they are best mounted vertically.  However, I seem unable to find a suitable wall mount. I contacted Flexson, who did make one, but it’s been discontinued due to very low demand.  Not having brackets is a showstopper for me. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have a home surround sound system (non-sonos) in my theater room.  I want to tie it into my Sonos eco-system.  I believe the Port and Amp will achieve this.  In the future I want to get an amp for my front and center speakers.  Can I kill 2 birds with one stone with the amp?  If so, is the amp a good choice for my front speakers?
