I was not able to broadcast from or to Sonos beam with google assistant. Suggestions on similar threads have been not effective in solving the issue. I got said there are no speakers associated with this account, in response to tentatives to broadcast from Sonos beam.The solution is to have exactly the same address associated with the Sonus beam and google home account including street number. Originally they were a little different.Once I set the same address the issue is solved.

When the Sonos skill will be in Alexa Brazil?

I have a Sonos One and I am getting Alexa to talk to me but when it comes time to paying something from an App or from Spotify it says device is online.   I have disabled all the relevant skills and reenabled them but nothing plays.  Alexa talks to me and is responsive, tells me all about the app and the cost etc  but then nothing actually plays and she says device is offline.   I see it online when i play music from my Spotify app.  Its just not working with Alexa. Help please 

I have used alexa or a while on beam. Now alexa cant be found anywhere. Any tips how to make this work? Sorry about my english :) 

Alexa has stopped playing my flash briefings. Also, Spotify no longer responds to voice commands. Spotify does work through my app. Please help as I have tried everything I can think of and I’m becoming more and more frustrated.

One of the earliest questions was around voice control over the playing of local music, as most people were expecting to be able to do more than just pause it.And Sonos kept saying it was something they were looking at.Three years later - can we do it yet?

We have Sonos, Google Home,  Google assistant or dot and Spotify amongst others.  Why can we not connect  Sonos to Google Home when we are English speaking,  but resident in Portugal? Look forward to receiving an answer to this.  Everything else here is interconnected.   

I wonder if anyone can confirm if they can get any “sleep sounds” skills working in routines since the 12.1 update? I’ve been using Rain Sounds by Sleep Jar and tried a few others by different developersWas happy to see that Sonos now officially supports Alexa routines, but whilst I can now get Alexa to say the time/weather/various custom phrases/etc as part of a routine (without the dreaded “Audio actions are not supported...” message!), it won’t play any sleep sound skills that I’ve tried. I just get silence.If I trigger the skill outside of a routine (eg “Alexa, open rain sounds”) it works fine.

Just to be clear I’m not asking about duplicate responses on Google speakers, or Android devices.   I have an open floor plan.  On one end I have a stereo pair of Ones (dining room).  And on the other end I have a Beam in a surround setup with a pair of Symfonisk (living room).   When I’m standing in the middle (kitchen) and use the Google Assistant both rooms respond.  (Beam in living room and a One in the dining room.)   Even if I walk up to the Beam and whisper, still both respond.   The devices are about 35 feet apart.I’ve experimented with grouping and ungrouping the speakers, and that doesn’t make any difference.What’s weird...is that upstairs I have a One in my master bedroom and a One in the master bathroom.  These are about five feet apart.  When I use Google Assistant there, only one will respond.   I’ve never had this problem and it doesn’t matter how the speakers are grouped or ungrouped.I’ve been using GA upstairs on my Ones for a long time.  Today I decided to add it down

I just purchased Sonos Arc and installed it on my tv, it is amazing however the mic light does not turn on hence I cannot use Alexa on it

I have set up a simple 2 step routing to turn on two smart plugs simultaneously through Alexa. This works 100% find on a dot but I get an audio recording of "Audio actions in routines are currently not supported on this device" every time I run it from my Sonos One. How do I make this irritation go away!

When I turn off my Sony X900H using Alexa, the TV goes off but the green mute status light comes on the Arc and stays on. Anyone else having this issue? Any Advice? Thanks.

Hi, My Sonos One used to work with Alexa but I changed to Google to try that before trying to switch back.  Now Alexa won’t work.  I’ve tried reinstalling both apps and re-registering speaker etc but nothing seems to work.  I’ve read some similar problems with ‘Beam’ but following steps still didn’t work For me.  The only reason I got this was to use for voice services so if it doesn’t do the job it’s a deal-breaker.    Has anyone any further suggestions before I return the Sonos for a refund? thanks David

Hiya. Has anyone experienced issues with Google Home dropping Sonos devices? When I open google home it does not list all my Sonos speakers. what is odd is if I unlink Sonos and reconnect to Google home it lists a different subset of my Sonos speakers - or has connected to some it wasn't previously connected to and dropped previously connected ones! So it can see them it just is not consistent.Ihave a similar issue with Assistant in that it won't connect to all available (those that can work with assistant) - if I tap on voice settings in the Sonos app it shows the other devices as untucked but when I select them and it launches Google Assistant it says it can't find any devices.

What do i need to do so sonos searches idagioi added idagio because search of classical music with apple is so bad (Even worse with sonos).  But sonos doesn’t seem to search in idagio at all.if that doesn’t work the whole thing is useless to mejpc

I want to use my Spotify Premium subscription on my new Sonos Move.  I can do so no problem via Google Assistant, but I’d like to be able to use Alexa instead.  When I set up Alexa as the Voice Assistant, it works with everything else eg telling a joke, the weather.  But when I ask Alexa to play music, I hear:First enable the skill for your Sonos Move in the Alexa App.  Then ask me to discover devices.I have spent literally hours and hours restarting, making sure Spotify is enabled as a skill etc etc - I have selected Spotify as the default music app.  If I ask Alexa to discover devices, she says There are no new devices to discover.I can play Spotify with no problem on the Sonos Move if I control it via the Spotify app on my iPad or phone.  Incidentally, if I ask Alexa to play eg BBC Radio Two, she says Here’s Radio Two and plays the BBC Sounds jingle … then nothing.  Nada.  Silence!  So Alexa is essentially good for nothing musical.  She seems utterly incapable of playing music via v

I have a Google mini and a Sonos play:3 in the same room. Since the play:3 does not have voice, I have to ask the Google mini to play the music. If I just say: "hey google, play some music" the music plays on the mini which is definitely not what anyone wants... I have to say the room where the speaker is but not only that, if I setup both speaker in the same room the mini still gets the job. You can set default media playback device for the Google mini but no Sonos speakers can be selected. Is that it? Is that what we waiting so long for? Cause if that's so, I'm getting rid of all of this and just getting Chromecast enabled speakers. Please let me know I did something stupid and this can be fixed.

I am trying to set up Google Assistant as my voice assistant on my Sonos One.  During the setup process in the Sonos app, I am prompted to download the Google app...but the Play Store gives me an error when I try to install the Google app.  My phone has the Android Go operating system installed...and Android Go devices contain the “Google Go” app rather than the “Google” app.Is anyone aware of a solution or workaround to this problem?  I just bought my Android Go phone for the sole purpose of setting to set up my Sonos One, so I don’t want to buy a second additional phone.  I also have an older android tablet that has the Google app installed, but it won’t let me install the Sonos app...whereas my phone lets me install the Sonos app, but not the Google app.

All, hit a problem today controlling Sonos through the Alexa App and Echo Dot… was all working fine until today when it just stopped. I have tried loads of things that were recommended on multiple threads with no joy….. so I decided to start from scratch. I set up all my Sonos again, from fresh… all these are working now and function correctly through the Sonos App… well I say working… teh Sonos App will only connect when I am in teh same room as my Play 5 (first speaker to be set up)…. it used to only work when I was next to my router… SKQQ router with a SKQ main receiver and 2 mini boxes. I then go onto Alexa App and try to enable the Sonos Skill…. it takes we to api.sonos.com and asks me to sign into my sonos account. I do this and then I get a message to ‘Register my speakers’… go to Sonos app - More>settings>account settings. My speakers are all shown in ‘systems’…   I hit ‘I’ve fixed this’ but it takes me straight back to sonos signin on api.sonos.com…. and then just loops

It’s been 5 weeks since I was able to successfully connect to Airplay on my Play:5’s and three Play:1’s...all upstairs...all on the same wifi network. This worked until it didn’t. I’ve: Factory-reset all of the offending speakers, choosing different names than they were before. Completely reset my Orbi router and satellite and built the network up from scratch, including over 50 smarthome devices. Restarted every device on the network. Moved the devices that DON’T work downstairs to sit next to the devices that DO work. Moved the non-working speakers to every area of the house with a power outlet in an attempt to get a “better(?)” wifi connection. I have purchased two Boosts (one for the downstairs, the other for upstairs). It didn’t make Airplay work and even made network connectivity worse than before. (I have since disconnected both of those and continue to regret that purchase.) None of this brought me any joy even as Airplay continues to function perfectly on those speakers

I bought a new Beam on Jan 5th. I connected it to my 12 month old Samsung Smart TV (Series 7) using the supplied ARC lead and it began working fine. Then, a few days later the TV wouldn’t switch on and I could only resolve the problem by disconnecting the power to the TV and after waiting a few moments reconnecting it. Since then this has been happening every few days.  I’ve checked that the remote works OK.  I thought the power supply to the TV might be the issue so I have now connected the TV directly to a wall socket instead of using an extension cable.   Samsung’s support asked me to check to see if the TVs standby light was on, off or flashing. At first I couldn’t find any standby light (it’s very feint and downwards projecting onto non-reflective surface) but when I did I noticed that when the TV was switched off it was flashing intermittently.  I disconnected the Beam and the light stopped flashing. Hey guys! I just purchased my Sonos Port yesterday with the intention of using it in conjunction with my Alexa Devises and creating a whole-home audio system. I have an Echo Dot that I wanted to use in the living room to control the Sonos Port, and Alexa speakers throughout the house. I enabled the skill for Sonos in the Alexa App. I made the Sonos Port as the “Preferred Speaker” in the room in the Alexa app, but when I go to change the echo dot speaker to use the “Preferred Speaker” (The Sonos) it doesn’t work. It still plays on the Echo Dot speaker. I tried it on my other Alexa devises and it does the same thing. On top of this I cant add the Sonos Port to a group through the Alexa app to accomplish the whole home audio I’m looking for. According to Sonos it should be able to work.  The whole reason for getting the Sonos was not only to play my online library though my surround sound, but to have whole home audio in the house. My Sonos Beam and Move products don’t recognize my routines that I have set up in the google up. Can anyone help me fix this?

Alexa integration was working great with my old Play 5’s. Got a new pair of Sonos 5’s, set them up, they are working fine with S2 controller. I can play music from both Spotify and the Alexa app on the iPad and drive the 5’s. But if I try to play music using voice commands to my Amazon Echo, I get an error “sorry, on kitchen is offline” (Not sure why the message includes “on”). I’ve tried ideas from the forum, including disabling and reeanabling the skill, logging out of apps, deleting and adding the devices in the Alexa App, rebooting absolutely everything, none of that works. Especially odd that playing music from the Alexa App/iPad works, but voice commands to the Echo don’t. Any new ideas? I’ve spent over an hour fiddling with these new speakers and am thoroughly stuck. On the Services & Voice tab of the S2 controller, there are sections “Voice” and “Music & Content”. Under “Music & Content” I see Spotify and other services. The “Voice” section is empty except for “add
