Have a chat with other Sonos owners. What's going on in the world of music and technology? What's playing?

I would like to know how I can be chosen to start reviewing and being part of an amazing company.
Sonos Music Library Alphabet Scrolling Finally fixed, only took you over a year to fix this and you still haven’t fixed issue when playing along playlist. You have to keep scrolling down the queue to see what’s playing, another annoying feature that has gone.
For weeks now whenever I tune into a podcast through Sonos, I get just an endless stream of advertisements, often repeating the same one minute string. I've tried signing out and re-authorizing and resetting and everything and nothing helps. What's going on? Anyone else of this issue? It is rendering my system useless.
don’t buy sonos crap. as a longtime owner of many speakers, i can tell you the app keeps getting WORSE. whoever is driving the bus at the company needs to be thrown out.
I received an email saying:Sonos Upgrade Programme30% off any new speakerA product in your system is now eligible for an upgrade. The best part? Your credit is worth even more for a limited time. But when I log in to my account it seems I only have a 15% upgrade offer. Please explainThanks
I am infuriated with my Sonos speakers. Repeatedly, they’re not ‘found’, repeatedly I re-boot, repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly. Never again, will I seek Sonos speakers, never!
I am a 70yr old guy with a severe physical disability living i a nursing home with WiFi 4 internet 2.4 GHz, password secured. About 3yrs ago I parted with my Sonos Play 5 Gen 1 and tried various more expensive more modern WiFi and Bluetooth Speakers. What a mistake! Some would not connect to the home Wi-Fi, others (voice controlled), could not understand my disability affected voice.Recently I Found a black mint play 5 Gen 1 on Fl'bay with original documents and leads for under £90🙂. It connected to the home' cranky WI-FI first time and has never missed a beat. Because of being largely bed bound and in a lot of pain, I tend to listen to music upwards of 6hrs a day. The sound is smooth and clear and never gives me a headache even with extended listening. It makes BBC Sounds sound good and the S1 Controller finds and plays my vast Apple playlists without fail🙂. The separation of instruments is particularly good. I would classify the music as cd quality. Of course the build quality is e

Hey Sonos fans,I’ve been playing around with the idea of using AI to automate some Sonos routines—nothing crazy, just little things like starting music when I walk in the door, or dimming the lights when I hit play. I know it’s usually done via IFTTT or Alexa routines, but I recently discovered a cool blog post showing how people have built smart home automations using simple AI-generated scripts—kinda got me thinking. (IFTTT has a whole section on Sonos workflows here)So I tried an AI tool myself (let’s call it “deepseekai.free” for now). It generated a quick script to trigger a “Good Morning” playlist when motion was detected, and even slipped in a cheeky comment like “# Your tunes will be more reliable than your snooze button.” I died laughing—but the snippet actually worked pretty well as a starting point.Has anyone else experimented with AI-assisted Sonos scripts or automations? Did it save time… or give you a funny comment you couldn’t unsee? I’d love to hear your successes (or e
Hey everyone, You may have seen the news that I’ve been asked to step into the role of CEO at Sonos. I’ve been lurking here for a while, and this community has been an incredibly valuable source of insight and feedback. We stumbled badly last year, no sugarcoating that, and I know there’s still work to do. I just wanted to say hello and let you know how committed I am, and how committed the whole team is, to making your Sonos system just work, every time. Thanks for being part of our community. Looking forward to the path forward together.
Can I no longer buy Sonos products via your website to be delivered in New Zealand?
Hi!just got a new Arc Ultra in black. when unboxing it, I first thought I was shipped a whit one by mistake because the protective felt in which the Arc Ultra came is white. My previous Arc Ultra (also black) came in a black protective felt, as all black Sonos speakers came in black felts. Has sonos changed this detail in its packaging?
Does anyone else find it deceptive for Sonos to offer 30% off vouchers to exchange old Sonos legacy products for new ones. And then for them to only tell you after you've sent your product that the offer isn't valid for items already on sale? Their perspective and attitude is, it's already on sale, so just pay us the sale price (that EVERYONE gets) and be happy. What value did I get for sending them my old legacy product!?
My lounge is at one end of the house and kitchen/dining room at the other—there is no wall separating these two spaces. Due to the the 5.1 nature of sonos systems (I can’t make one big group) I have two separate speaker groups. Two sonos Ones in the dining room and a beam and two sonos Ones in the lounge. What suprises is me is there is no easy way to simply match the volume of these two groups. They don’t even default to the same volume when connected. I have long thought this feature would simply appear its need being immediately apparent to anyone in this situation, which I suspect is a lot of people. But it hasn’t so I’m raising it here.
the sonos app is so glitchy why can’t Sonos get this right? missing shuffle button in apple music is so inconvenient
Some time ago playlists on Amazon Music Unlimited loaded 500 tracks into the queue. Now it is only loading 300 tracks into the queue. This only happens when using the 80…. app. When I use either SonoPhone or the “Orange” app to load the same playlist I get all 389 tracks. So this is not an Amazon Music issue. Why has this not been resolved? An iPhone 15 was used. The first screenshot is when the 80…. app was used to load the playlist. The second screenshot is when either SonoPhone or the “Orange” app was used to load the playlist. Both screenshots are of the queue in the 80…. app.
I want to play music from my Dell xps15 laptop's C-drive via the newly purchased Era 100's that are installed and paired as a stereo set. The app continues to refuse adding my music folder to the Sonos Library with the error message: Cannot find Dell laptop. What am I doing wrong?
I don’t know what happened, my music library on windows 11 was working properly and suddenly from one day to an other it didn’t work anymore. I’ve tried to delete and add again the music library, tried again the set up for the shared folder, tried again to remove and install again thee desktop app but nothing… I’m desperate, why it need to be a continue struggle with Sonos all the time? Any suggestion? Any update to solve the problem? Please.
I have 2 bars, and a handful of speakers around the house… and for years now - the app will find some speakers and not others.. it changes almost every time. I routinely get ‘system not found’ - WTAF - I am sorry that I spent all this $$ on a system that sounds great but is so freakin’ unreliable and painstaking to fix/stressful to engage, rather that seamless and simple. I’ve read on forums about this wonkiness being a function of the app, particularly 1.0 to 2.0 - that seems to jibe with my experiences. I am not looking for the Sonos service people to nudge me to call in or text to get some assistance. A short term ‘win’ (what? that they system works after 45 min of troubleshooting with you) isn’t sufficient when tomorrow I have issues again. MAYBE TELL US WITH CERTAINTY YOU’LL FIX YOUR APP IF THATS THE ISSUE, OR TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS ‘YOU’RE SH/T OUR OF LUCK’?
Como financió una compra, en que momento al hacer el pedido se hace para poder financiar?
Why was the Anghami app deleted from Sonos? Is this temporary? That's my main source of music and it's been challenging since the Sonos app update. Now you killed it completely.
The Google AI summaries seem like they’re purely drawn from Sonos propaganda, and make it harder to get through the search results for useful information. Just worked through the usual system not found problems.Sorry, just a sucker who finally broke down and bought a couple of additional speakers.
In a previous exchange, you answered that music platforms (not Sonos) are in charge of developping their integration within Sonos App.Is this True? The point is: I don't care.As a consummer, if I cannot live the same experience on Sonos app as on Qobuz app, I will ditch Sonos a million times before bidding farewell to Qobuz.Do you see my point? Marketing professionals call this consummer experience.Etienne
So, many months on from that event and my Sonos system is still best described as “quirky and unreliable”. I won’t produce yet another list of things that go wrong, there’s plenty on here already. But every time I open the app now I routinely expect, and get: - players refusing to join an existing group “try again later” - the app refusing to control an existing group - music taking up to 30s to start playing across a group of players (I fondly remember the days when I heard the beginning of the first track in a playlist) - etc. All of these are resolved with patience and the digital equivalent of “jiggle it about and try again”. And I usually manage to have a working system that plays my music within about 5-10 minutes of frustration and annoyance at the beginning of every session of playing music. I’ve come to expect it now. But I’m wondering if one of the problems is that I’ve now got over 20 different players, of pretty much every S2 compatible type, which spans several generati
Hey Sonos! You broke the app yet again with your latest update!! Now how long are we going to have to wait to get it fixed this time around, huh???
