"I am contacting you regarding a failed Sonos Roam (Serial: [A102 2112WC 38-42-08-34-DD-00:C]), which is displaying the well-known blinking red/solid orange light battery failure and is completely unresponsive. I have already performed all standard troubleshooting, including multiple 30-second power resets and charging with a certified 10W adapter.

I understand the speaker is out of its 1-year warranty. As this is a widely reported manufacturing defect that leads to the product being completely bricked shortly after the warranty expires, I am asking for the standard goodwill resolution, which is a 30% discount code toward a replacement speaker in exchange for returning my defective unit for recycling." Sadly a defensive agent is holding on for dear life and will not offer a solution or a repair solution

About all you can get here in the Community forum is sympathy. Calling Sonos is probably still your best bet, ask for a different agent or escalation.

Too late now but the extended warranty option is something to consider.
