Hi @Choochmunk,
That survey email is legit — Sonos does occasionally run research studies with CMB and offers discount codes as a thank-you. However, the discount codes are usually sent out after the survey closes (once responses are processed). Since the survey window ended Sept 12, it may take a little time for the emails to go out.
If you don’t hear back within a week or so, I’d suggest contacting Sonos Support with the survey details so they can check your eligibility and follow up.
Thank you so much. I can spend even more. 😜😜
Really nice that Sonos sets count as one item, so an Arc Ultra, 2 Era-300s and a Sub 4 counts as just one item. Might even be able to add an Ace headset to that, check the Sonos store listings.
I'm gonna need a bigger........bank account 😂😂
Also, know that you don’t want to exceed $2,500 in your cart; but you may leave a lot or a little of the $2,500 discountable on the table. Here’s how you can maximize your discount.
The bundle below retails for $3355_USD. However, you should calculate your cost based upon individual items.
- Arc Ultra $1,099
- Era 300 $479
- Era 300 $479
- Ace Phones 399
Total $2,456 -30% = $1,719.20 + $899 (Sub 4) = $,2618.20
$44.00 of the $2,500 was left on the table so you might throw in a Combo Line-Adaptor @ $39.00 to use as much as possible of the $2,500 discountable.
Adjusted calculation:
- Arc Ultra $1,099
- Era 300 $479
- Era 300 $479
- Ace Phones 399
- Combo Line-in Adaptor $39.00
Total $2,495 – 30% = $1,746.50 + $899 (Sub 4) = $,2645.50
In the examples above I would order the Sub 4 separately to keep everything clean for my invoices. Of course you can figure out your own purchase combo’s🙂
Also, you cannot stack (combine) discounts
Enjoy your 30% discount! 😎

Wow @AjTrek1 thanks for the maths! I just hope the discount is honoured.
Hi Choochmunk, I also got the email and completed the survey but haven’t heard anything back. Did you receive the discount code?
I did receive the code and it worked. Chase them up if necessary.
Good luck.
