Set up Sonos Beam using the HDMI ARC connection on Samsung TV and indicator light is constant “White”, yet Beam doesn’t produce sound from TV. What do I need to do to correct this? Thank you.
Just went to use my system and got the error message "unable to connect to services". Restarted app and router, same problem. Found the app could be updated (Android) so did that and still same problem, no services showing in the app. Sonos service status page shows everything is OK. Any ideas?
How To Rest WIFI

bonjour, est-ce que radio France est toujours accessible via TuneIn ?Moderator edit:Google Translate-Hello, is Radio France still accessible via TuneIn?
Has anyone else got a problem that now all speakers on the system have updated, only one now will work with the app?I am just ready to fling all these speakers in the bin as the enjoyment of listening to music has gone right out the window?Pointers and advice welcome!
Hi,I recently bought an Arc with a SubG3, however I have decided to return it for a number of reasons, some of these include:Narrow soundstage - the sound feels very directional to me in the sense that it is very soundbar-centric. In comparison to standard stereo speakers which appear to do a better job of filling the room with sound. The sub kept getting disconnected and sometimes the Arc would not play from Apple Music or load properly (I have an iPhone 15 Pro so it’s fairly new). Both the Arc and the Sub consume a constant 4w of power even when not in use (I only use my TV for about an hour or two a day so this is a waste and not great for the environment - I can charge my iPhone with my wireless charger at about 5w, haha!)Anyway I have decided that the Arc Ultra may be better for me as the Ultra looks like they have designed more sound dispersion into the drivers towards the ends and I think they have also commented about things like power consumption as well. The addition of the w
Has anyone noticed after last Sonos update 16/10/24 gen 3 sub sounds less dynamic the volume seems lower and frequency has changed
So I want to buy the Arc Ultra + Sub 4. My country is not listed, I have to choose 'Other'I would prefer to order from the Sonos website as I see there are offers when ordering a set, which is nice.- Does Sonos ship orders to Greece from this website?- Is the order sent from the US or a Sonos warehouse closer to me, in Europe?- How many days does it take for my order to arrive?
I recently have encountered an issue that music constantly would be paused out of nowhere OR my five sonos s1 gen2 would go silent whilst the app stills shows music playing. Furthermore, I couldnt play music with my five speakers at the same time, it would go silent 4 or 5 times during one song. By the way, I use apple music. I have checked my WIFI connection, rebooted everything and updated softwares to date.So apparently it’s not about an internet issue. Does anyone have the same experience like me?
I see the the Arc Ultra will have Bluetooth. If I have an Arc Ultra paired with a Sub and connect to the pair using Bluetooth, will the sub play sound?
Hi! Is there any way to adjust the input gain for HDMI on the Sonos Amp?I have the problem that the input from the TV is relatively lower than when streaming music. For music I set the volume to maybe 25-30 at normal listening level, but for TV I need to crank it up to almost 50.If I first watch TV and then switch to Spotify or any other music streaming service, I will get a heart attack if I forget to first adjust the volume down. 😅to sort this out I would either need the possibility to set hdmi input gain or set a default volume for hdmi and streaming respectively, that is applied/reset every time I switch input source.
I created a simple web interface for Sonos speakers. It doesn’t have all the functionality, but it could be extended. It’s available free at Sonos Web on Github. It uses this middleware from @jishi based on NodeJS, which I extended with additional functionality.See what you think.
I’ve installed the Sonos app on my wife’s iPhone logging in my my login and password. The system and both of our phones are all on the same network - lets call it ABCD. Everything is working fine between my iPhone and the Sonos system. When I open the app on my wife’s phone, it says “Not Connected No products found for more information go to System Settings”. When I go to System Settings, it says your system not found on ABCD and invites me to Update network or Set up a new system. If I go to Update network, it seems to want to update the network settings for the products which are already connected to the system via my phone. Something seems to be wrong here! Can someone help me please?
Hey everyone,I'm trying to decide between two sound systems for my living room, and I could use some advice!Sonos Arc + Sub Gen3 (second hand, the combo around 1000€) Yamaha TrueX 50 soundbar (with subwoofer) + two TrueX speakers, new for 930€ (with 25% cashback = I'll have >200€ for future Yamaha purchases)A bit about me:I love watching movies and care a lot about good audio quality, surround sound, and Dolby Atmos. I’m not a hardcore gamer, but a console might be add in the future. Design is important, and I’ve excluded Samsung, LG, and Sony soundbars because I don't like their aesthetics. I don’t own any other Sonos devices at the moment. I’m also not great at comparing the hardware specs between the two setups, so any insights on that would be super helpful. This setup might also become my main audio system for music and podcasts. The Yamaha set has 2 satellite, and I’m aware that adding two Sonos Era 300s would be a great addition on Sonos, but they’re out of budget right now (m
Hi all, I'm new here, but have a fairly old setup on 3 Play 1's and a Play bar. I have recently moved house and found that I needed multiple AP's in order to get WiFi around my house and garden. I opted for an Omada system, consisting of an EAP225 (Outside) and an EAP610 inside. Both are wired to an EE router which has the WiFi turned off. The issue I have is I can attach them all to the system, but I can't play anything other than Sonos Radio. I have a Deezer account and whilst I can see my favourite songs / playlists etc, when I press play I just get a spinning wheel of doom. I have also tried with BBC radio, and I have the same issue. It's almost as if it can't attach to the internet. I have tried downgrading my entire system to 2.4ghz, and I have tried plugging one of the Play 1's directly into the router, and still the same result. Interestingly I tried downgrading to S1 and it did work, but one of my Play 1's won't downgrade for some reason, and after 3 hours of talking to Sonos
i have two gen 1 play 5’sI’m thinking of adding a sonos Sub gen 1. My question is would the results be better than buying two of the latest 5’s ? Mainly listening to dance, Heavy bass type music. BUT also a lot of indie, Smiths, Joy Division, New order, Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies Any thoughts ?
I tried to connect my Era 300 by wifi with my pc for the 1st time. I tried to use the website’s app but it didnt find it.
Since the recent changes, my Beam (G1) keeps disappearing from the system. With a lot of fiddling, I can get it back but haven’t managed to identify a consistent simple workaround. Suspect this is something to do with switching between TV (optical connex) and Sonos system as the system is generally used for radio in the day and TV at night. Mark Enderby
Subject: Inquiry About "Line-In" FeatureHello,As a dealer, installer, and user, I have a simple question: When will the option to select and control "Line-In" return? In the "gold" app, it was available at the bottom of the "Browse" screen, but now it's missing. It might seem like it should be under the "Your System" section, but it’s unclear. I've seen many complaints about the removal of features in the new app, and losing the ability to control Line-In is not just disappointing—it's a liability for users who specifically chose these products for this feature. I'm referencing Keith N's response from two days ago regarding the bullet list of five features that supposedly have return dates.
I recently replaced my phone and had to reinstall the sonos app. That's where everything went wrong. For unknown reasons my Beam was no longer set up on my network, could have happened any time to be fair as I can't remember using the app this year. No problem though, I can follow the setup. Done it plenty of times before. Unfortunately I just couldn't get it to connect to wifi. Tried the usual things but after a few days I decided to just use a wired connection to prove i was not loosing my mind. So I tried setup again and I get a can't connect to "" error. Very odd. I can see the device has an ip on the network and I can connect via the Web to run ping etc so it's definitely on the network but the app just won't complete setup. I am out of ideas. It is a few years old now but it works fantastic and I was considering a couple of additions like a sub but until I can get the setup complete I don't want to spend anything incase it's dead. Any ideas? Most advice i see says to use wir
Anyone have a 15% credit they are willing to spare? Would like to pre order the new Ultra and don’t have any offers in my profile. Long shot but worth a try!
I’ve upgraded to new iOS app (80.01.11) on iPhone running 17.5.1. Sonos Playbar & Play:1.Sonos app settings have Local Network & Bluetooth enabled (disabling either makes no difference). App reports No System Found, and I can’t add system. It is connected to my Wifi (I can see the devices via wifi mgmt tool). I can see and control the system via Sonos Controller for PC (v16.2) over wifi - so there is no problem with my network setup, or the Playbar/Play:1 connection to the network. Is this a known problem on this new app, any known workaround or fix?
Like many of you I have been suffering many problems since the update in May and on occasions read about ‘improvements’ which I couldn’t see. Before you decide to chuck it all in frustration, ask your self whether you ever agreed to go on the Beta program, I did probably 6 years ago and forgot. If you are on the Beta program you are likely NOT getting the correct updates when released!I discovered this yesterday after nearly 3 hours on the phone to tech support about problems getting access to Spotify, Tidal and some other services through Sonos. They didn’t appear in the list.Having withdrawn from the Beta program, low and behold, this morning I am now receiving new updates. While I believe there is still much to do to improve the app and get it back where it was, I can already see some improvements which I didn’t have yesterday. You can remove yourself from the Beta program here https://support.sonos.com/en-gb/article/sonos-beta-programs It would seem like a good thing to do in any cas
I've seen many other threads for this, this is a feature request that in the new app a feature is added to disable the Sonos Arc during music playback. I have an Arc, Sub Gen 3 and a pair of Fives set up for surround. The sound quality is worse than just using the pair of Fives in stereo with the sub. Turning music on the surrounds to +15 kills the bass from the sub. The music playback experience is just much worse since adding the Arc and this needs to be fixed
