I’ve lost connection with my play and I cannot find it again
I already own the gen 1 beam and 1st gen play one currently been used as a surround sound setup….my question is if I bought a pair of era 100 could I add these to the existing setup so essentially having 5 speakers as a surround sound..The reason I would like to add these era is to connect my Bluetooth turntable which I know would only connect to the 2 era’s, or would I have to just replace the ones with the eras if so would this work as surround sound when needed the connect to the turntable when needed…thanks
HiI currently have a Sonos Arc and sub gen 3, soon I will be getting an ultra to pair with my gen 3 sub.My question is do I need to reset the gen 3 sub, or is it fine just removing the sub from my Sonos Arc in the app and then resetting the Sonos Arc?Just not sure if the gen 3 requires a full reset to pair with my new arc ultra?Thank you
I’m hoping someone can help!I have just purchased the new Sonos ARC Ultra (Previously had the Ray). It works perfectly when i connect spotify, the sound is great. The issue I have, is that when i turn my Sky Q on, it disconnects the sound from the Sonos Arc to use the TV Speaker (Samsung). The setting dissapears to use the HDMI ARC function so i’m unable to change. Very frustrating and i have tried multiple troubleshooting options but still no luck! It worked fine with the Ray Any help, would be much appreciated! I’m tempted to return my new Arc Ultra...
Hi, I have a number of Sonos Playbars (5) around the house, several Connect Amps and 1 Sonos Arc but because the Connect Amps are hardly used, I turn the power off to them, especially overnight, but because of this, I’m worried these devices (which aren’t left on all the time, especially the Connect Amps) aren’t being updated with the latest Sonos updates. So, in short, how can I determine if each of my Sonos devices has the latest updates, or otherwise?
Hi, As the title says, my six speakers seem to be playing a different volumes. Some play loud, some play very quiet. Is there a way for me to set them all or to individually adjust the volumes of each speaker? Or perhaps was there something wrong I did during installation? To give context, I have the 6.1 mag system set up across my backyard which runs about 50 ft across. With the connecting sub in the center of that 50 ft.
I am running a 2 year old Arc with a Sub gen 3 and an Amp powering Klipsch 8” wall speakers in a vaulted ceiling configuration as surrounds (they work well). I can afford an Ultra, keeping the Sub and the Amp. Or I can retain my current Arc and purchase a pair of Era 300s and stands. My screen is a 65” Bravia approx 12 feet from the couch. it is mounted on my fireplace mantle with my Arc underneath. Any height signals only need to travel approx 3 feet before hitting the ceiling. The vaulted ceiling rises from 8 feet to about 11 feet, bisecting my living room from left to right, then back down to 8 feet. It is my understanding that this divide will partially defeat the Atmos effect. So which choice is best? Ultra/sub 3 with Klipsch? Or existing Arc/sub 3 with era 300s? The 300s would encounter the same ceiling vault from the opposite direction.Thanks.
Am considering Arc Ultra, my first foray into sound bars, and wondering if this new product is worth the hype?
Newbie to Sonos. Before connecting my new Sonos system to the TV I have set up the ARC soundbar, connected two One SL speakers as surround and the mini sub. They are operating as one unit playing music for now. I plan on connect the system to my Samsung OLED tv. I also utilize a Fire TV Cube that manages the entire setup. My question’s this. The Sonos soundbar will be connected to the tv via EARC. Typically, the Fire TV Cube has an extensive setup procedure to manage all devices. Is there anything else I have to do on the Sonos side to ensure a successful connection before I run the Fire TV Cube setup?
What is the voltage coming out the subwoofer out on the Sonos amp?
I want to request a move of one system setting “Nearby System” to the first page after starting Sonos and not connecting. I travel between several locations a few times a week. Each time, I open Sonos and get a “No Products Found” message with a CTA to go to system settings. I click on it and then when system setting loads, I have to scroll down to see “Nearby System” to (re)join the system again. My change would eliminate the extra clicks and poor UX.
Hello all!Building a house, and in our main family room (not a great room, but a separate space for TV and hanging out), I want to have a good theatre system. But, I (and definitely my wife), don’t want to have Era 300’s sitting on stands. She couldn’t handle that, aesthetically. So, what is my best option for a Surround Sound system? Is Atmos possible without Era 300s? I could possibly mount Era300s on the wall, but I know she won’t like that either.I would prefer doing ceiling speakers, an amp (or two), combined with an Arc Ultra and Sub. What would you recommend?
HiI just reset my Sonos Arc, I have logged into my Sonos account on the website and it still shows under “system”Will this disappear eventually? I plan to gift the the arc so don't want it showing under my Sonos account, is there anything else I need to do or should it vanish eventually?Sorry wasn't sure where to post this.Thank you
My Sonos One speaker is trying to access my PC - I had a message from Norton that the device at an IP on my network assigned to the Sonos One was trying to connect to <program> on the PC on UDP port 1900. I unplugged the Sonos One.Any ideas why the Sonos One would try to do this? The PC has never connected to the speaker, and Bluetooth on the PC is turned off.
Its a very complicated product! There is no Bluetooth.I really dont understand how to upload music to sonos?I down watch t.v.So now my only thing that I need to listen is to sonos radio? Its so disappointing! The latest update has truly messed up my system. The problem I'm experiencing now is that I have a beam and to play ones connected as surround sound. The play ones are connected however no sound comes out of them. When I check the app the enable Wi-Fi and the disabled Wi-Fi selections are grayed out. I'm sure that the play ones need to be enabled but that option has been taken away. How can I get this back. Quickly hopefully!
Hello all!I read in the Arc Ultra release that Truplay for Android is now available. Does anyone know if it’s available for everyone or for just Arc Ultra owners? If I upgrade to the Arc Ultra and Sub Gen 4, will my One's still work as surrounds?
I feel I’ve tried everything to add my own music to Sonos after it disappeared some time ago. I’m using a Macbook Pro running Monterey 12.7.5 and Sonos (on the Mac at 16.4.2).It fails when asking for my id and password - I changed my id to ensure it was correct using the Terminal app. Am I correct that the password should be the one I use to log on to the Mac with?I’ve checked sharing options and they look OK but I can screenshot anything.Really, really frustrating and I know this isn’t the first time this question has been asked :-(
Hallo friends,I have Sonos Arc and 2 x Sonos Era 300. I live in an attic apartment with a unique angled ceiling and roof windows. I would like to ask for help with setting up the speakers properly, especially the two Sonos 300: In which angle should Eras be positioned? My idea is to align them with the angle of the ceiling, like on the picture. Whats should be the setup in the app? Should I use Trueplay?Kind regards
Only have 2 surrounds, but 2 soundbars ( Beam & Arc). Can I easily switch the 2 surrounds to whatever soundbar I want to use at the time?
I have Flac files on a NAS. They play on my whole system. How can I get confirmation that HD content is being played? Thanks
Simple question as a dealer/installer/user: When will the ability to select and control “Line-In” return? On the “gold” app, it was part of the “Browse” screen at the bottom of the list of services. IT IS NOW GONE. One may presume it should have been in the “Your System” area, but who knows? Whereas I have reviewed many complaints and issues with the deprecation of features in the new app, the inability to control Line-In is not only a devastating loss, but a liability as many users have purchased the products specifically for their ability to support a Line-In. I am referring to the “Keith N” response of two days ago and the bullet list of the five features/issues that there is a supposed date for them to return. See image below and there is NO LINE-IN:
Looking to upgrade to a living room Samsung 55” frame tv with some older Sonos (I think play:3s) components that are presently used in the room solely for digital music, but I’d like to incorporate the TV. Also have a Sonos Pro-Ject turntable I’d also like to add to the system from a side room. Obviously I need to add some components, but not looking to go nuts (don’t really need/want crushing Atmos sound, but would appreciate a bit more than just the Samsung built-in speakers) and don’t want to use a soundbar (don’t want to see another component - I prefer the low-impact of a frame tv with a hidden in-wall box w Apple TV) to keep it super clean and simple. The turntable is in another room, so think I just need a Bluetooth enabled remote speaker to add that to the overall Sonos system? And as far as the TV, can I use the Play:3s in tandem with the TV speakers? I’d be open to adding a sub under the couch or otherwise hidden and MAYBE a central speaker if it could be hidden. Thoughts/adv
Can I pair my AirPods to my Sonos Beam 2
