Why does my Sonos app show that I have a subscription for Sonos Radio HD when I don't?When I click on the link, it opens this page:Can you please stop pushing your HD radio? I have not spent hundreds of pounds on your equipment so that I can listen to radio, HD or otherwise. If I want your HD radio, I'll subscribe, but please remove this duff information about me having a subscription when I don't!
Hi,I really miss the function to set pre-defined volume levels for different groups of speakers.for instance I have a beam, a five and a roam all grouped together in my living room. I use them separately (like beam for tv and roam on the go) but playing music in my living room I want to use them together in a set volume and not have to manually adjust themthis topic seems to have been around in different threads for years without any action taken.is there any plans to implement such a solution to the system? It seems like a fairly easy SW adaption.
I currently have 2 x Play 3’s (in different rooms) and looking to add a turntable to setup. I thought the only way this was possible was via the Sonos Port but having looked into this a solution i believe is getting a Five and connecting via line-in. I’m just weighing up my options now. I have a few questions/concerns and would appreciate any inputs from the community! If I was to bring my 2 x Play 3’s together in the same room and pair as L & R - I understand i would need a Sonos Port to connect the turntable to this. Would this give me better sound/pack more of a punch than if i was just to replace with 1 x Five? It’s an average sized living room and currently the 1 x Play 3 in there is adequate for music but i really like the idea of L & R. Could I still get the same richness of sounds from the latest tech and single speaker of the Five? My concern on pairing the 2 x Play 3’s is that these speakers are quite old. While they work perfectly fine and use the latest S2 operati
Hey guys, new sonos arc and sub owner here. Absolutely love the new setup. However my PS5 requires vastly different EQ settings than watching movies. I can’t seem to find any way to save EQ profiles. Anyone figure it out?
I currently have a Playbar and 2 Play Ones set up as a 3.0 tv system. While this is nice, i want more:) what do you think is more worthwhile, add a Sub (we live in an apt so a little worried about the bass) or upgrade to the Arc? If I go the upgrade to the Arc route do I need to move the Playbar to another room or can it still be integrated with the Arc and 2 play ones?
It turns out that I cannot update anymore my library music index because the operative system (Android) on my phone is too old, though I did run an update not such a long time ago! This is very annoying and irritating indeed. Am I supposed to buy a new phone every time Sonos stops supporting a certain version of Android? Is this some kind of planned obsolescence in agreement with Apple, Samsung and co to force customers to buy a new phone? I’m wondering more and more. If Sonos folks want to buy me a new phone they are welcome! I just feel like selling all my Sonos stuff and going back to my old good CD and LP players.
Hi I have the sonos app installed on my iPhone and iPad, im selling my iPhone soon and unsure how I should uninstall the sonos app.I see that in the app settings there is something called reset app. If I click this will it remove my system from just the iPhone app, I dont want it removing my system from the iPad. Thanks
I am looking at upgrading one of my play 3’s to get 15% off a roam. I know I can continue to use the play 3 but will it still receive updates?
Hi,i’m still very confused about the whole “which can pair with what” here. So i want to buy a Sonos Beam for my living Room (TV). For the garden i want a Roam. I know that i cant pair the Beam and the Roam for Surroundsound when i watch Movies. But can i pair them to play Musik on both devices simultaneously? that i can place the roam in another room and it will play the same music as the beam in the livingroom? Thanks for your answers :-)
Last year my Sonos Play: 3 wiped all my self created playlists containing approximately 2000 songs. I hadn’t changed anything, done any updates or changed music streaming services. Customer support wasn’t any help so I mourned the loss of all my favourite music and decided to start again. Now, I can’t even CREATE a playlist to add music to. (I can add pre-made playlists to my Sonos library) but when I try to create a new playlist manually I get a system message which says ‘Unable to create playlist. Please try again’ Can someone shed some light on this before I throw it out of the window and invest in another brand!
I absolutely love my current Beam + 2 Play-1 surround setup, and have gotten proficient with the available EQ, TruePlay, Speech Enhancement options. My only issue has been when watching live television musical performances where the singer(s)' vocals are far less clear and muddled with higher musical instrument and crowd cheering sounds. I recall during the Grammys and the lile tinkering with the TV EQ bass/treble volume levels on-the-fly and the speech enhancement option but this approach is very inconvenient and wasn't ideal. It kind of ruined an otherwise pleasant surround sound TV experience. Am I doing something wrong? Could this be a new feature for live tv musical performance vocal enhancement?I also have two One SLs in other rooms. Should I switch out the Play-1s for the SLs?
Few days ago I got my own Sonos one …..but I cannot get its guide with it ….is there anyone who give me the guides ….that how to connect them with the other devices…..
I have 2x Sonos Ones in a Stereo Pair in the kitchen, its only a small room so 3.5m x 3.5m and it sounds good but I am looking to expand the Sonos system to upstairs and I am thinking of moving the One’s upstairs and splitting them so I have one in the master bedroom and one in the guest bedroom to maximise sound.I have been reading online and it says the Stereo pairing is really designed for home theatre so presumably I would better off splitting the Ones separately and sticking one in each bedroom? Bedrooms are 3.5m x 5m each.Would probably look at getting a Sonos Move for the Kitchen which we can take into the garden if needed as kitchen music is not needed all that much. Thanks
Qobuz opened up in Sweden last week and I have an account. But Qobuz music service is not available in Sonos setup. Any thoughts?
Hello all,I’m converting most of my home away from Chromecast / Chromecast audio (too unstable), and I’m not certain which (if any) components to keep from my existing HT / Surround system. Most of the time we listen to music in multi-channel stereo. The room in question is about 900 square feet (20’ wide x 45’ deep) with 20’ cathedral ceilings.Currently I have a 7.0 system including:Denon AVR-X2300W L/R: B&W CM-1 (vintage floorstanding speakers) Center: Definitive Mythos 3 Surround L/R and back L/R: Definitive BP2XMy plan is to convert to:Sonos Arc (L/C/R) Sonos AMP to power the definitive surrounds Use the sub out to feed a new external sub (thinking Hsu ULS-15 MK2 or SVS Micro 3000). Alternatively, if I were to get rid of the Definitive surrounds I’d add Ikea symfonisk table lamps for L/R surround. This would obviate the need for the Sonos AMP, in which case I’d get a Sonos Sub.Questions:Does this seem like it will be a reasonably effective setup for the intended use, or am I l
I have a TCL TV with roku built in and I used it with my Sonos beam with two One SL speakers as a 5.0 set-up. I connect the TV to beam through HDMI-ARC. I realize I can only receive surrounding TV audio when the output is dolby digital (e.g., the Dolby roku app), but not dolby digital plus (e.g., all other apps including netflix, hulu, disneyplus, etc.). How should I correctly set up my speakers or TV?
HiI have a One and One SL set up as surrounds to my Beam which work great. I want to keep this so that the One/SL kick in with the Beam as they do now when I turn on the TV.But I was wondering whether there is a way to have the One/SL work as a stereo pair (isolated from the Beam) when the TV is off so I can stream from my Android mobile for stereo sound, but then revert to surrounds automatically when the TV is turned on..I know I can do this by ungrouping the One/SL as surrounds and manually set them up as a stereo pair, then changing them back to surrounds when i want to watch TV but i was hoping there was a way to set this up automatically? Is that what Ungroup on Autoplay would do?Cheers
Pre-ordered on March 9th - the very second you could do so. My Roam has been in “preparing to ship” status since last Friday (April 16th). Unless it comes tomorrow -- which seems unlikely now, barring a shipped email in the next couple of hours, I’ll be a little disappointed in Sonos. (note that I'm super happy with my Sonos system -- 4 Sonos Ones and a Port thus far). But based on this experience, what was the point of pre-ordering? I can literally do curbside pickup tomorrow at a nearby Best Buy and get a Roam tomorrow at 10 AM. I thought pre-ordering meant you got it ON or BEFORE the release date (not after)? Technically the release date is in about 4 hours here.Current status, just checked -- again: Placed on March 09, 2021Order SummaryPurchase Subtotal$169.00Discount total$0.00Est. Just signed up for Sonos Radio HD, but can’t for the life of me find the ‘Sleep’ stations with white/pink noise etc. Do they exist? I know they were mentioned in all the press releases when the HD subscription was launched in November, and a ‘Pink Noise’ channel image is shown at the bottom of the promo page.
I have a pair of ones (a one and a one sl) in my living room that I have paired in stereo which is great for music.Thinking of getting a beam so I can have surround sound for my TV too but wanted to know if I set my ones up as surrounds for film/TV, can I still use them as a stereo pair for music?Don't want to commit to buying and then find out they can only do one or the other!!
So I am moving from Arc(Sub) to a stereo setup with Amp and Sub.First of all would like to confirm... The Sub pairs with the Amp wirelessly as with a soundbar, through the app? How does crossover work? Does the Amp detect a 2.1 setup and adjusts a default crossover? If so is it adjustable (70Hz 100Hz etc). Much appreciated.
I’ve got a large open floor plan room. At one end Yamaha RX-A780 running a 5.2.2 Atmos config. This is connected to the Sonos system via the digital audio output of a Sonos Port and is configured as the “den” zone. At the other end of the room Sonos AMP running 4 in ceiling wired speakers configured as the “dining room” zone. so here’s the issue: when using the Sonos app to send music to both the den and the dining room zones simultaneously, the den zone is very noticeably behind the dining room zone I’m sure due to digital processing in the Yamaha receiver. My efforts to adjust Yamaha settings to minimize digital processing haven’t helped. Also the Dinning room amp set up has an audio delay setting but this seems to have no effect. What I’m looking for is a way to delay the dining room to get it to match the den. If Sonos delay settings don’t work can I get a hardwired physical box to introduce an adjustable delay?
My favorite feature of Spotify is that it autoplays a radio station after I finish listening to an album. Despite having autoplay enabled on Spotify, when playing to Sonos through Spotify Connect the autoplay just doesn’t work; the music stops after the album ends.Spotify says this is a Sonos problem, seems like Sonos says this is a Spotify problem. Any ideas how to get this bug worked out?
Going to order the Roam online today. Will the wireless charger work for other devices such as iPhone? Unsure whether to spend the extra money on the wireless charger but definitely would if it were able to charge other devices
