Hi,I have an old speaker still with the S1 app and also newer speakers with the S2 app.I can sign into the Sonos Account page and the S2 app with my email and password combination but the S1 app will not accept that same login. Not sure why this would be if it works on the website and the S2 app. Appreciate your help.
I have a sonos sub paired to two fives, a one and a one sl in my living room. While I like the 5s and ones, im just not impressed with the sub for music. I’ve changed settings in it, turned trueplay off, moved the sub etc, and I just don’t like how it sounds. For $800 it doesn’t seem to produce much bass. I have an Amp connected to two klipsch aw650s that are outside right now (will be coming inside this winter). Can I use the amp with a 3rd party sub bonded to the 5s? I think my wife will lose it if I hang up ANOTHER pair of speakers in our living room. Although I do like the 650 more than the 5s.
I have most of all Sonos speaker and I use all of them with Airplay but suddenly My beam Gen 1 is not showing in the Airplay. I can connect from spotify but from Apple Music and Direct airplay it is not working. I tried to restart and reset but still It’s not in the list of Airplay. What is the possible problem and the solution as well.Thanks.
There are many more topics comparing these players. Please click here to see a list of more topics around the same subject. Tried both arc and beam gen 2, am I missing something? Having trouble decidingSo I went to Best Buy to test the Beam gen 2 (with sub mini) and Sonos Arc (with sub gen 3). I test both with/without the sub. The Arc I could see why people say it’s better for movies. When I played the demo - Arc had the volume distributed a lot wider. Movie effects like water splashing felt widerHowever, the beam felt a lot punchier (probably because the sound is more direct). The Beam felt more in your face. For the same volume it felt like it was louder. The sound felt a lot clearer for the same volume compared to the arc. I have a 650 sq ft apartment with 12 feet between front and back wall, and a long hallway (30 feet) on my left side and a wall basically directly to my right. Would the arc be better for if I eventually upgrade my TV? I much preferred the more direct sound of the
Seems this one takes minimum two tries to cycle the second update per first complaints. I see no immediate UI changes. Maybe this fixed the Trueplay debacle from 15.8?
I have a touch tunes jukebox and I have it hooked into a Sonos Port. When Sonos detects that music is playing on the Touch Tunes, it switches over. But I have an odd quirk that it won't switch back to my Sonos radio when it's done playing the song. Is there any way to achieve this?
How does Sonos plan to solve the issue of accessing lock screen controls and device hardware button on iOS? Removing that functionality with release 15.6 on July 25, 2023 is a significant impact on the user experience. Our phones are the primary way we control the product so is there a solution other than having to unlock the phone every time we want to control the volume, change a track or turn the system off? Please clarify your plans or provide alternate solutions. Note: I do not use voice controls with my products, so that is not an alternative. Thanks.
I currently have a pair of play 1s as a stereo pair and enjoy them. I am going to repurpose them into surrounds and set up a new music pair with either one SLS or era 100s with a sub mini.I don't really need the extra features in the era and with discount they are not that much more expensive than the SLS, however I am a bit concerned about the dual tweeter in the era as it stands to reason that the imaging would be better from a single tweeter than the two in the era 100. I have a single era 100 and think it sounds fine but don't really notice a stereo effect. I realise that a pair of fives would probably be better for music but I'd prefer the flexibility of the 2.1 setup. I thought that I had read that the fives shut off some tweeters in vertical position, so with fives in stereo pair and vertical is there just one tweeter per speaker working?
I Have A Sonos Amp 4.1 Set up with MA passive speakers + Sonos 1s surrounds. I am really happy, however I feel frustrated not being able to play Atmos music, recently I found a way I wanted to share, in despite than in my opinion most Atmos mixes are not worthy for me to ditch my current set up. I would like to hear from others which other ways you have used to achieve this. I recently listened the new Atmos version of “The Dark Side of The Moon” on Amazon Music and it is impressive, it was worthy to turn on the TV just to listen to this Album.Anyway I will start a list of hardware proven to achieve Atmos downmix to 5.1:My case : Fire TV 4K, Sony TV AF9 and Amazon Music HD feeding Sonos Amp. Amazon Music settings, Ultra HD off, Spatial Audio on; Fire TV set to Surround Sound Best Available. With this combination the Sonos app recognises DD 5.1 as feed from Atmos songs. I use the TV menu to turn off the screen as the Amazon Music app doesn't trigger the screen protector.Previously I fou

Hello, I have a house full of Sonos gear including a Move for times on the go. Currently looking to outfit a covered but open air structure with 3 mounted TVs. Dimensions are 70 ft X 36 ft, metal room is 18 at peak w/ TVs and speakers to be mounted at the break at 12 ft. There are no walls but speakers will be protected from direct sun and rain/weather. Central Texas so temps will stay above 100 in the summer but rarely stay below freezing for more then a couple of days.would Fives and ARC handle that environment? would 4 Fives installed at each corner (well inside the edges to avoid direct exposure to sun/rain) and an ARC under the main TV in the middle fill that much space? Is there a formula or calculation to predict volume ? The space is mix use, TV watching and music playing/dancing. Like to hear any thoughts or suggestions. Any considerations I haven’t listed here? For context, I had initially ruled out Sonos as an option due to exposure to the elements and producing e

What are the recommended steps to remove account data and factory reset the Arc and in what sequence?
Helloi have a NAD streamer (bluos DAC C658) and am contemplating getting Era speakers for around our house. Can I use this DAC to stream music to different Era 300 and 100 speakers (in different rooms) over my WIFI? Anything I need to keep in mind for the setup or when using this combination? Thanks!
I have a sonos ARC and sound keeps cutting out for 1-2 seconds and then picks back up. My sonos was fine for about 1 week after purchasing but now the sound will cut out periodically. Here is my diagnostics number 103248445. How can I fix this issue?
I hate my Roam (Even more) Seriously, what an unreliable product this is and I regret investing 200 dollars or 4500 pesos Mexicanos on this expensive paperweight that only makes me angry. After more than 8 months, after replacing my Roam once again, after getting in touch with Tech Support and being told to contact my provider TotalPlay and setup my router which I don’t know and I don’t think anyone in my home knows either and is willing to change just because my Roam has unstability issues, I keep having these unstability issues with my Roam: music cutting out regardless of the Music Source, Apple Music, Spotify, even AirPlay stops playing randomly, Alexa, Sonos Voice Control, and chiefly, Google Assistant work very unrreliable, and even with Bluetooth there are audio dropouts for 1 second every 15 to 20 minutes or so. No network issues at all, no wireless interference, everything, Absolutely Everything else works rock solid in our Wifi network at home, my iPhone 11, my iPa
Working on my outdoor set up. I have optical connection. Running a long distance from outside TV. I want to put a Sonos amp outside, but don’t know how to adapt Sonos amp to optical connection coming in.
i would like to know until which year sonos shall provide battery replacement support on sonos move speaker. if anyone knows answer to this, kindly reply.
My internet connection is with 3 on a Zyxel router/modem connected in passthrough mode to an Edgerouter X. If the connection is over the 4g phone network the Sonos app connects to BBC sounds on the first try. If the modem is connected to the 5g phone network the Sonos app can take up to 10 attempts to connect to BBC Sounds. Similar problems but less often with Apple Music. Has anyone else experienced this? I should say that the internet connection is 60mbps on 4g and 300 on 5g with pings in the 30ms range.I have been unable to explain this to Sonos support as they get endlessly distracted by confusing 5g network connection with 5Ghz wifi.
Title says it all. Hard to tell from the technical drawings and dimensions of the new Era 100.Kicking off a kitchen remodel and would like a stereo pair of 100’s. Looks like the width of the shelf is good, but I worry about the depth. Want it to look clean and not janky. Because this is going in a kitchen and the outlet shelfs will be mounted against a tile backsplash, I do not want to consider an actual mount that screws through the wall/backsplash. Need ability to remove/upgrade down the road. Era 100 = 7.18in H, 4.72in W, 5.14in DSanus Outlet Shelf = 6.84in H, 4.77in W, 5.32in D
hi all,I own a gen1 system composed of a playbar and a sub and a few play 1 speakers.I would like to upgrade my playbar to a Beam Gen2will it work with the rest of my setup?thanks mucho
I have a Beam Gen 2 plus mini sub. I have just bought two Era 100s. I want to use them as surrounds (have done that). During the setup I said yes to stereo pairing, but that’s not in fact what I want. I want the 100s as separate speakers in a group with the Beam, all playing the same full stereo music (for max volume in party situation). Do I need to undo the stereo pairing before grouping the speakers by playing music on the Beam and holding down the play/pause button on each 100? If so how do I do that? Once done how easy will it be to switch between surround mode and grouped?
Does the 3/28 “Hi Res” and Apple Music Classical update mean that we’ll also be able to stream regular lossless (CD quality audio - 16-bit/44.1 kHz) through the Apple Music service via the Sonos iPhone app and Mac app?
