Hi, as at dec 2023, what are the generations/models/versions of the amp? I want to buy a new amp but want to make sure it’s the latest one, so are we on gen 2 or gen 3 etc? thanks
We have several sonos five speakers installed, one in certain offices. How can i setup that person on the app to only control the speaker in their office?
Ciao. Qual è il miglior abbinamento partendo da beam gen 2?

Dear all, I´m searching for a (perfect) systemmainly for stereo music. I use SPOTIFY and therefore Dolby-Atmos is no topic for me, at least at the moment. It´s a nice-to-have function to be future-proof, but does not have the 1st priority. sometimes home cinema, but not very often. However, as for Dolby Atmos, it´s a nice-to-have function. There are these options:2x Era 100 + Sub Mini or 2x Era 300 (+ perhaps later a Sub (3. Gen) or newer) or (perhaps 2x Era 100 + 1x Era 300)2x Five are no real option, because those are too big (box size) for the room and furniture)The living room has 32 sqm, the kitchen 9,5 sqm. There is a sliding door between the living room and the kitchen which is open most of the time. Most times music is played at moderate loudness (background music), not very loud. Is it correct that 2x Era 300 are not the best option for stereo music becasue the Era 300 are made for Dolby Atmos and not for stereo and that 2x Era 100 are the better option for stereo music? A sou
I have a tv with an Arc and two sets of non-Sonos speakers (4 speakers total in addition to arc). I also have a Sonos amp and have connected both sets of external speakers to that amp. I want to use all the speakers in surround with Tv: 1 set of external speakers in front of room and 1 set in the back. However, the app seems to only recognize 1 set of the external speakers as surrounds with my TV/Arc (front of room pair). Is there a way to link the second set of speakers (which are in the back of the room)? All external speakers are hardwired to the Sonos amp. The tv/arc are connected via hdmi cable to each other. The amp and TV/Arc are not connected by any wires.
There definitely needs to be a discussion about how to get a multi person family that uses Spotify with Sonos to always use the correct spotify user. I am an IT Admin with deep experience with data and configurations, and some how, my wifes listening has still been merged with my spotify listening when I look at my 2023 Wrap data from spotify. Even though her songs do not show up in my Spotify recently played in Spotfy, her songs DO show up as my most listened to songs in my Wrap Up. Spotify support is absolutely no help. I have talked to multiple support people. All seem to get to the same point. If we listen on the spotify app, then this will not happen. But since we are using sonos, this is probably the reason.Using The Spotify app to play defeats the purpose of having a multi-room sonos system (THAT WAS EXPENSIVE) and multi person family. I really think Sonons needs to work on improving this. Anyone have any tips?
Hello,Can i do the following: 1 sonos amp for ceiling speakers for my TV while streaming music for other ceiling speakers in my kitchen or sonos move at the same time?if not is there any option to let the sonos amp send streaming music only to ceiling speakers in my kitchen or sonos move while the TV is off Thanks
Is it possible to connect and use both line-in and Ethernet at the same time using the combo adapter? Is it possible, in a multi room system with 4 era 100, to use more line in connections ; for example one connected with the turn table, one with the cd player and one with an internet radio ?Any help is appreciated.
HiI have a double space living room , at one end of the room where the tv is i have a beam, sub and 2 x ones and I want to add an era 300 in the other end of the room. Will that work for playing all tv sound and music and adding a turntable to the era 300?Thanks
I am trying to connect a Google home speaker so it can play the same time as my Sonos products. At the moment I can play the two sonner speakers which I have downstairs or the Google home speaker on its own which I have upstairs but neither together !
HiI love my playbar and it has been great. Contemplating to upgrade to Arc, doing some online research and can see few people commenting the sound of Playbar is better than Arc and Arc sounds "hollow". My use will be for streaming movies in living room mainly, atmos content will be from Disney, Prime. I will be adding a Sub in near future. Thanks for any advice.
People on Reddit have been saying they are receiving 40% coupons for any Sonos product. Sounds like it’s directed to long time sonos customers. Anyone know what the criteria are? Or anything about this?
How to play from my Android device to sonos one
Sonos do I buy another Play 3 to be paired and buy a Sub mini for best sound.
I only have had my ERA 300s and Beam for 2 days and I am feeling confused, stupid and discouraged. Is there an easy way just to delete a room(s)? I try to learn and solve things myself but other than a “factory reset” I do not see how to delete a room. My Beam is connected to my TV and I have two ERA 300s. All I wish to do is have my two 300s linked together so that I can add to my Beam together when I want to play music. Thanks!
Hello Sonos Community, I purchased three total Era 300s, two of which I setup as a stereo pair in my living room. I would like to connect the third one to the stereo pair, and set it in a different room, but have it playing the same music as the stereo pair. Is this possible? Or can only two Era 300s connect and play the same music at once? Thank you!
From my experience, the best Sound Experience requires an initial phase of “breaking in” the Speakers to expand the ranges and to develop the sound Maturity. Is this recommended for Sonos products? (i.e. Running very dynamic bass and challenging treble albums in repeat to open up the Sound Range & Spectrum)Any suggestions in this regard as well? Thanks!
Do you know if Sonos ray has bluetooth incorporated ?
Hi I just bought a Gen 3 sub and sonos arc. Am liking the sound after tuning it yesterday. Curious. I have two in wall surrounds. If I were to get a connect amp gen 1, will this integrate with the sound bar / sub? I hear Connect Amp Gen 1 works on S1 app...I don’t mind that...if it means when playing sounds through my TV the sound bar, surronds and sub work together. Thanks.
I can’t do the trueplay of my system. It keep coming out this trueplay problem page. Let me know what should I do. I have Arc+(2)Era 100 and (1)sub.
I wan to get into vinyl and could use some advice on the best Sonos setup. After some initial research, it looks like a solid starting point would be the Sonos Five paired with a quality turntable.Currently, my setup includes four Sonos One SLs (wall-mounted) — one in the living room corner above the TV, two in the dining room, one in the kitchen — and a Play:1 in the office on a different floor. Here are the options I'm considering: Purchase a new Sonos Five along with a Pro-Ject T1 (potential savings if bought separately rather than direct from Sonos). Explore a second-hand Sonos 5 (gen2) along with a Pro-Ject T1 (or similar) Consider a second-hand Connect paired with a Pro-Ject T1 and continue using my existing One SLs and Play:1 (is this wise or possible) Additionally, I'm thinking about adding a Sonos Beam to mount under the TV (not right away). If not a Sonos Beam, would I be able to use the Five, move it and connect it to the TV on the occasional “movie night”?I'd appreciate y
Arc + sub vs 2 pieces of five, for listening to music, which is best?I just got a Arc + sub for my living room. Before i got a Amp + sub and 2 peices of not active speakers.my first thought is the my old set up was better for music.would it be better for me to go for 2 pieces of five instead of using Arc + sub?i dont care that much, which is best for TV and movies.
I have read lots and lots of posts on this but many of them are old posts. I have tried many things but still no luck. I have my sonos boost wired to a port on my ubiguiti switch which is setup to use a separate VLAN than the rest of my network. All my speakers are connected to the boost wireless through the Sonosnet. After two very frustrating days of trying to get all the sonos stuff moved to the new VLAN, I finally called support. The guy right away had me uncheck Multicast Enhancement and Multicast and Broadcast Control. That seemed to work to get the speakers setup on the sonosnet with the boost and be visable from my iphone when on the same wireless network as the speakers. However, if I am not on the same wireless network, the Sonos app cannot see the sonos system. I have tried entering Firewall rules for various ports from all the threads that I have read but still nothing. I am wondering if I have the Firewall rules setup correctly. I am fairly new with unifi, so sti
Hi, I know that the Roam (mic) does have an automatic trueplay function.I also know that the SL (speechless) doesn’t have any mic build in, hence no automatic trueplay. What I don’t understand is why trueplay on the Roam SL is not available through the mic of my iPhone.Just like you use trueplay on the OLD “play ones”, they also did not have any mic.Hence trueplay was achieved by using the mic of your mobile phone.Am I wrong and is it possible, or are you planning to add this feature in the future? Regards.
