Both speaker power up but I had issues getting them to show up on app.one speaker Play1 is now showing consistently.but our main speaker Play 5 : 2nd generation comes and goes and now is not showing on app. But it is playing a radio station. So it is playing.i do not know what to do to get it to connect to the app. my frustrations are super high. Love the speaker, hating the system
I have a CD player connected via Line in to a brand new era 100. I have several speakers around the house and when I play the CDs Sonos keeps removing speakers from the group and only playing from where the line in is connected. Is this a known thing?
In my opinion, a good center speaker is essential for listening to Dolby Atmos material and, in general, for surround sound. Sonos should add speakers on the front to reinforce those frequencies that are noticeably weak compared to the rear Era 300. Listening to music in Dolby Atmos is a pleasure, but in the Sonos configuration I have (Arc Ultra-Sub3-Era 300 x2) it often still loses out to a good stereo system due to this lack of power and definition in the center speaker. Let's get to work, Sonos! Greetings!
The room is not acoustically great (wood floors and brick walls).Am thinking of the arc ultra, sub4, and 2 Era 100’s packagehttps://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/premium-immersive-set-arc-ultra-sub-era-100-pair-black Question does that sound reasonable? Should I upgrade to the ERA 300? Any thing else I need? TYIA
Where can I go get refund on my sonos products Melbourne AustraliaI have had enough

My bedroom wall is against my neighbor’s wall, which means I can’t turn the music up too loud.I would like to be able to set that speaker to never go above a certain limit, regardless of how the “group” volume goes. In other words, say I want it to max at “11.” If I have all the speakers at, say, “3,” the bedroom plays at 3. If I have all the speakers at “10,” the bedroom is at 10. If I crank the group up to “20,” the bedroom stays at 11. The group goes to “30”? It’s a dance party in the living room, but the bedroom remains at 11.Note this is not at all accomplished with the “percentage” feature.
I have Arc + sub conntected to the TV e-arc. (for both streaming music and tv) I have a One SL in the kitchen. I have the devices grouped. Right now i have TV auto play on and Ungroup on Autoplay turned on. I’d like for music (streaming sonos or spotify) to play on both devices, but when i switch to watch something on the TV only, I just want the TV to play through the Arc only and stop all kitchen audio. If i have music playing through the group, then when i want to turn on the TV - the arc will play the TV audio, but the kitchen SL will continue to playing the music. If i turn ungroup off, the TV will play both in kitchen will play the TV audio, which is not desired. How do i get the kitchen SL to stop when the TV comes on?I understand its probably working the way its intended, but is there anyway i can set this up to do so automatically for music, tv, through zones, or rooms, vs groups, etc without having to pull out the app?
My alarms all of a sudden stopped working. I looked in the Sonos Community for solutions and unfortunately the following troubleshooting suggestions did not work:Update software Delete alarms and set new alarms Set alarms on a desktop Checked time zone (even though I’m Arizona, which daylight savings doesn’t apply to us.I would appreciate your help.Thank you
I moved my Play:5 to another room. After that it kind of ended up in a hickup.I try to describe my problem. If I start playback of music from the Sonos App or via Airplay the Sonos indicator light toggles between orange and white. When I touch the play button twice it starts to play.As long asI don’t pause the music play on. Switching to another track works aswell. But when I press on pause and then start the music again the blinking starts again and I have to double touch the play button on the Sonos again. Is that a known problem? What can I do? I already did a factory reset. I moved it back to the old location. I tried Ethernet Cable. Same problem.
Is it normal that if I try to Airplay 2 from Macbook Pro apple music app to multiple devices, those from SONOS often failed to sync well or just wont sync together. All my others airplay devices are rock solid on Airplay 2 from my Macbook but not the Sonos… I know that if I use the Sonos app to sync them together after having start the stream from Apple Music to only one Sonos device, it will work fine but I find this step very unpleasant because i need to do it a lot of time in a day…Is there a fix on the way? All me devices are hardwired. I’m trying to solve this problem since 2 years now XD.Thanks a lot,
Hello everyone, I am a 21 year old business school French student and I am looking for someone to interview about his/her experience about the era 300. It will be perfectly confidential and anonymous and it will last maximum 20 minutes.Send me a message if you are interested it would help me a lot.Moderator edit: We recommend being wary of sharing your private info online.
Listening on my sonos 1 to Ed Sheran, the sound quality was dulled. Nothing I could to change this. The other day I played my old apple ipod on my old nose sound dock. Sound quality phenomenal, absolutely phenomenal. Sonis you really have to up your game. I've been in hifi all my life and the sonos 1 speaker is quite simply a wireless speaker. End of.
Volevo sapere se è obbligatorio avere WiFi per collegarmi al sonos? One . Oppure basta avere bluetooth grazie aspetto risposta.
I have recently moved to Openreach Full Fibre broadband and have successful set up my Sonos Beam, Play 1’s and Sonos Play 3 to the new WiFi.However, when I play music through the system it plays for c.10mins and the drops off the network and takes every other device with it.The only solution to this is to reboot the router, which solves the issue, but if I play music again it simply shuts down again.I didn't have any issues like this with my last broadband. Could this be a router issues as I have read that the router could be rubbish with this provider, but the fact that it works for a short period would suggest that the router is fit for purpose for a short time.I have read that an Amazon Eero could provide a solution, but is this not a simple signal booster?? Or should I get a better router and if so, any suggestions would be great.Any help of suggestions would be appreciated.
I have like 4 roams 6 ones 1 play at amplifier boost and there is not a week almost not one day when one or two or all have a problem or are not working. Interrupted music. Speaker don t appear. Speaker gone from the system. Voice control react with a big delay (up to ½ day. He suddenly starts talking). Tuning is gone or suddenly the connected speaker (home cinéma) are not synchronised etc. Without any action music start in the middle of the night. Or suddenly volume goes up or down none of the functions are reacting. I have to shut down the electricity to stop it. I m in contact with sonos support almost every week. I have another system in another flat (much cheaper) and that is working perfectly or even better. My 20 year old Bose in my studio is working 10 x better. Regret to have invested so much money for poor quality (music that is)
I had to contact technical support a few weeks ago as I just couldn’t get my Move to connect properly. It has always had issues dropping in and out from the app. Technical told me it was caused by the fact I had Sky wifi boosters which I just didn’t believe. So I decided to undertake a very expensive trial. I bought an Era 300 to replace the Move in the kitchen and guess what...it hasn’t missed a beat and constantly stays connected. So much for my boosters causing a network issue! I also have an Era 100 in the home office and that has been fine too.I was concerned after buying my Move just how temperamental it has been and particularly when Sonos brought out the Move 2 not too long after...makes me wonder if there has been an inherent issue with the original Move.I am now experiencing connectivity issues with my older Play 1. I have reset and readded the speaker and whilst the app acknowledges the speaker, it won’t control it. Constantly keep getting ‘unable to connect please try again
Hi. I have a pair of Era 300s and a sub mini. They worked fine for about a month but now, whilst they play through the Sonos app (including with Spotify), if I play directly off Spotify app the left speaker doesn’t work. Weirdly I can control the volume of the right speaker using the left speaker controls, but the left speaker just won’t play music. anyone had that problem or found a fix? Or any suggestions why this would be and what to do? i messed around with it yesterday to try to fix and had various configurations of speakers working and not working (including left not working on Sonos app and sub not working, so don’t want to make it worse again) right speaker was always working though), and in the end they all started working again, but this morning the left one is gone again.Very annoying. Thanks for any help you can offer.
Having issues for over a year now with Apple Music and playing on my home system. It just stops playing and now it won’t play at all expect thru my Sonos tv soundbars (I have wired Sonos speakers in my home). Now on the app the volume is a light gray for the home speakerson versus the brighter white on the soundbars. No clue what’s wrong or what’s going on. I’ve refreshed, unplugged, reset and nothing has helped. I absolutely hate this system as I built a brand new home with this cool tech and it’s been terrible. Help…
Hi,I have the Sonos One and it suddenly stopped working. It will not power up. No lights showing at all.I have unplugged, plugged back in. Used different sockets thay I know have power in.I have tried the reset. Still nothing. Please advise.Kindest Regards Slavka
I’m considering setting up Sonos speakers for a hotel and am planning to install over 100 Sonos Era speakers, mainly to allow guests to use Bluetooth in their rooms. What would be the best way to set up these systems? From my research, I've found two potential options: 1. Create multiple VLANs and SSIDs, or 2. Set up multiple systems under a single SSID.How do these two options differ, and which would be more effective in this context?
Over time the Sonos App on my devices has gotten slower, and slower. Response time is horrendous. I figure it’s gotta be from one of two things:All my devices are OLD Play: 1s and a SoundBar. Perhaps they’re just getting too old for the current capabilities? I have found several threads discussing app performance and Network issues. I’ve done a bit of superficial digging and I don’t **think** I have any network issues going on. I’ve got a pretty solid and stable network. Several of my devices are wired rather than using wirelss, I’m using SonosNet still on the rest. I COULD switch them to using regular wifi, though I’m a bit hesitant because I’ve been using SonosNet successfully since before Wifi was an option.Thoughts on where I should focus my energies?
Moderator Note: Google Translate- Good morning,my Era 100 was registered to an account that no longer exists. How do I change the system owner?I tried the “Transfer of system ownership” option in the General settings and when I enter my account, it tells me that it has been transferred, but I am still unable to log in as owner. It's as if nothing is happening... what to do?
I have tried multiple times to tune Trueplay on one of my Sonos Ones. I have 6 Sonos Ones and only one of them will not save. I go through the process and each time it says it completed successfully. I go back to the Trueplay menu and there is no Trueplay Tuning on/off switch or an option to Retune. The only option is Trueplay Tuning (again). All of my other 5 Sonos Ones Trueplay just fine. It’s this single speaker that will not. I’ve tried unplugging it and even relocating it. Nothing works. Please help.
