My system repeatedly keeps rebooting every few minutes. I changed/upgraded routers, re connected the system/all speakers and a connect, and the problem remains. How do I stop the system from repeatedly rebooting?
Sonos is up-to-date and is connected to the same net work as my phone same Wi-Fi. I’ve tried to connect it to airplay. It won’t connect to airplay. I’ve done factory reset on it. I’ve unplugged it. I’ll try to connect it to the Bluetooth. Does anybody have any answers?
I have a Beam with two Sonos 1. When connecting I get the Beam plus one of the Sonos 1 units. When I try to connect the other Sonus 1 I get a flashing green light but not flashing green and white. Have tried turning off power and router but the system does not connect the second Sonos 1 unit.Any ideas?
My mother recently upgraded her modem/router that is connected to the cable internet connection upstairs. The Beam is downstairs. I noticed the signal was weak downstairs so I bought a Netgear AC1900 Wifi Mesh Extender and installed it on the main level. Since its a mesh extender it sets the SSID to the same as the primary wifi router. After doing this I was able to test a good signal in the basement and able to add the samsung smart TV in the basement to the wifi and stream video with no issues. I then tried to follow instructions to change the wifi network on the Beam that is the sound bar for the samsung smart TV in the basement and the SSID does not show in the available networks to select to in the sonos app. It says make sure your network is b/g/n compatiable. I’ve verified that the Primary wifi router and the mesh extender are both backwards compatible. So now I’m at a loss.

After more then a year waiting, I’ve finally got my Sonos gear moved. I have 2x PLAY1 and 1x SYMFONISK. This evening I wanted to connect everything to my new network (telenet belgium), but all my device don’t want to connect with wifi. When I connect with cabble, i have no problem connecting. Any solutions? (already did: switching on/off router, devices, rebooting pixel-hone, connecting with ethernet and then switch to wifi...)Thanks, SamNa meer dan een jaar heb ik eindelijk mijn sonos materiaal terug.
I have been a happy Era 100 user until the right channel in an Era 100 stereo pair stopped working today. It ONLY malfunctions when I group this Era pair with a stereo pair of Play:5’s playing a Line-In source. The left speaker in the Era pair continues to play without error. The Era pair CAN play from any streaming source in stereo without error. The malfunction only occurs on the Era pair when playing from a line-in source on the 5’s.i have restarted all speakers in the house, unpaired the Era stereo pair and created a new pair, factory reset the right speaker in the Era pair, and the error continues.Thoughts on what may be going on here?
There's already a thread about Era 300 sound clicks with some references to the 100, but we need one for the 100s. My setup is two Era 100s as a stereo pair with a Sub, Trueplayed and playing FLAC files off local network NAS. When I first heard the clicks my brain tended to disbelieve them as not possible - I've never had clicks on any Sonos device (had Sonos gear since 2007) and never expected to. At first I thought my music tracks may have got corrupted so I played the track that clicked on another (non-Sonos) device - no clicks. I found the Era 300 clicks thread and was dismayed to realise I’d bought a pair of defective speakers. Something I’d never expect from Sonos. In my case the click is a soft click (not a thud or a crack or static) reminiscent of a scratch on an LP but at the same level as the music, ie not louder than the music playing and not a low-level click. It happened on Songbird by Fleetwood Mac at around 5 seconds in. I restarted the track and it was repeatable at the
My Sonos one is connected by Bluetooth and plugged in. It is connected to my phone. But when I playing music, there’s no sound from the speakers. I have tried turning it off and turning it on by pressing the manual pause button on the speaker. I can pause the music on my phone, but there is still no sound. This is the case for all three of my Sonos, one speaker what do I do to fix it?
Hi, I can only connect my Sonos five using Ethernet cable, wireless connection does not work and has not worked since I bought it. Tried to unplug and run diagnostics without success. What can I do to fix this problem?
I am completely non-tech and I would like to work out the easiest way to connect a CD player to more than one Sonos speaker. Do I need an amplifier? Would a simple line-in connection be the best way? Do I need a CD player with any particular features? If anyone can offer a simple explanation I’d be very grateful.
For some reason every time I try to connect my new IKEA Symfonisk to my wifi network it states that “The connection to your SYMFONISK table lamp was lost move your mobile device closer and make sure that SYMFONISK table lamp is powered on.”, and once I click continue I receive a message stating that the table lamp was added and I can go to settings for further registration. Once I go to settings however, I get I message stating “Lets finish adding your SYMPONISK table lamp to your system” and once I click continue I get a message saying “Your Sonos system must be factory reset before you can register it to a new account. “ I have factory reset my device countless times along with restarting my router and I am looking for more guidance to connect my system! Thanks :)
Looking for recommendations for mounting 300 rears. I have an open concept living room. Wondering if anyone has experience with this and if they would even be worth it. I’ve done little map of potentials spots. Note the vaulted ceiling that also runs through the room. Red would be stand mounted behind the sofa, but would that be a problem for sound on the offset sofa? But also marked in red due to wife potentially killing me for trying to place them in that location. Green is mounted on wall about 9 feet up for left rear and right rear 9’ up above a cabinet. Any thoughts or experiences shared would be much appreciated. thank you
Deleted. Problem solved
Hi All--Another connection issue question :) I have a Beam (Gen2) + 2 One SL’s (OSL) for my living room “theatre.” I noticed last week the OSLs were not firing while I watched Dragon Ball Z so I tried to rejoin them to the network but no luck--”Unable to join OSL to loki”. All 3 products have been on my network ‘loki’ for the past 7 months working flawlessly.I followed the instructions on factory resetting from here (Reset your Sonos product | Sonos), I saw the subsequent white/amber flashing lights that eventually turned green. iPhone identifies the charm, connects to the OSLs but will fail when joining them to loki.Went back into my WiFi AP (a Ubiquiti NanoHD) made sure loki is 2.4Ghz, no crazy filtering rules, ‘forgot’ prior OSL connections just in case there was an IP conflict or something…and nothing. I’ve tried resetting to factory defaults probably a dozen times now, alternating between unplugging power from the wall vs the unit itself, in case that made a difference, leaving th
Hello, We have a wifi system in the house and the sonos one sl speakers are connected to the home wifi system. We have a pool house woth 4 sonos sl speakers inside and outside but we have another wifi box there because the one of our home is too far away while in the pool. We were trying tto connect the speakers and activate the sonos etc but apparently since all the sonos system is connected to the home wifi and not the pool house wifi then it doesn't work... I hope I'm clear about the situation... How can we make the 4 speakers of the pool.house work under the same sonos account with a different wifi? Overall what would be the solution to this situation when you have others speakers that need to be connected to another wifi box? Obviously a wifi box with another code etc... Thank you in advance,
Hi,My Sonos Beam started to sound bad all of a sudden two weeks ago and is atm. practically unusable. Symptoms are metallic distortion when listening TV dialog or music through app or smartphone (Spotify). I raised a support call to troubleshoot the issue. First contact with them went very well and we gathered a lot of debug data in a 1h call session. Did factory reset etc. The issue did not resolved. I also sent a couple videos about the issue afterwards as support requested me to do.Last week I received an email from support that warranty is not valid anymore and I need to buy a new loudspeaker. Only thing Sonos can do is give me a 30% discount from the purchase. At the same time I’m receiving 25% discount coupons by email daily. Not much of a compensation. Support did not explain either what could be wrong with my speaker even though I spent 1h troubleshooting it and sent videos as requested. After this I made a new call and tried to explain that I have had this product for only 2,5
I have seven play fives first generation and one sub and lately the app has been crashing, I’ve done everything that they recommend resetting my server my router, and restarting my app on my phone, and it does it again. Everything‘s been updated and I have an amplify router so it definitely reaches to the garage. What the heck is going on? Is there anything it’s all updated to date and still plays for a little bit and crashes
HiI have a Play:3 and in our last house I’m 99% sure we had an antenna we plugged into the back so it connected to Wifi/Bluetooth.The only antenna I can find since moving doesn’t plug into it so I’m trying to figure out what replacement I need to buy so that my phone will connect to the Sonos and we can play music. It has a bronze/gold circular hole at the back and an Ethernet cable on the back.ThanksWill
Hi expertsI have an old denon cd and tape player (m35) a turntable (with preamp) and a new samsung tv. If i get a beam for the tv and a port for for the cd and turntable, can i use a pair of one speakers to go with both (ie beam and port) alternately, depending on whethet I'm using the tv or audio. Sorry if this question is silly.
Everything on the app wants me to reset it to factory settings I done it multiple time then an error and ask to try something else then it adds it to my system then wants me to reset it again. Any suggestions I greatly appreciated it thank you
Hi guys, Can we confirm when using era 300 as stereo pair, I'm showing no option in settings for balance.Should it be showing and adjustable? Thanks
Just purchased 2 sonos 100 speakers with combo Ethernet adaptors. They are still defaulting to wifi and when I look at the line in settings they are greyed out. How do I change from WiFi to Ethernet?
