We seem to have a regular, but not constant, prolem with the alarm not connecting.Instead of radio we get the chime. It seems to happen most but not all mornings.I’ve noticed that if I stop the alarm, with the play/pause button , and then press the play/pause again immediately, the light flashes white 12 times and then flashes orange three times and then the set radio channel will start to play. This behaviour seems consistent.Tried resetting the unit ( a Symfonisk) and that might seem to help for a day or two, then it starts to misbehave again.. Other times it might go for weeks working normally.Diagnostic 1807590213Any suggestions welcomeModerator edit: combined posts:EDIT - I’d just like to add that when I searched for this topic, nothing came up but now I’ve posted it I’m being shown lots of similar topics. Some problem with the search engine? Have read the other posts, all seem to describe similar issues so will try some of the suggestions
Buenos días tengo dos altavoces sonos era 100 por configurar aún y quiero emparejarlos en estéreo los dos trueplay ,pero mi sistema de móvil es Android. se puede hacer? Moderator edit:Google Translate-Good morning, I have two Sonos speakers that have yet to be configured and I want to pair the two TruePlay speakers in stereo, but my mobile phone system is Android. Hi I have a number of amps all working fine bar one which has blown a fuse. Replaced fuse in the plug and it blew that one. Any ideas or do I just send it back? thanks.
Once set up on WiFi at home, can Era 100s be used with Bluetooth only away from home? I’d like to take to a child’s party location where there is no WiFi accessible. Can two still be paired or does that rely on them communicating over WiFi? Thanks
Can I use the Sub without the Arc (ordered both but only sub has come and I’m impatient). In other words, can the sub add bass to the projector speakers without having the Arc installed.
Every time I try to retune my Era 100 after moving it in the room I get a message “something went wrong. We are unable to custom tune your Era 100. Please try again.”I try but to no avail.Any suggestions?
I have 2 x sonos play 3 and neither of them will factory reset. Both were working last week, both software updated last week. But I changed wifi networks and neither would connect, so I tried to factory reset both. They both flash amber but will not go any further in the process. I've tried many times and even left them unplugged for 24 hours but still no go! I see others have had this same issue, but I don't see any resolutions
Some advice please. Apologies if this is a bit noobie but….I want to add some reasonable quality stereo audio to my living room. My main hi-fi is in another room and it is not feasible to set it up in the living room, due to space and wiring considerations. So I am looking at Sonos, probably a linked pair of Sonos Ones. I already have an Amazon Echo in the room. Given that I am wondering if the best choice is a pair of Sonos One SLs, controlled via Echo/Alexa, that is, is there any benefit in going for the Gen2 over a pair of SLs? My understanding is that the basic speaker is the same but the Gen2 has microphone and smart speaker capability which presumably I don't need. Is that right?I already have the IKEA-badged SONOS speaker (in a third room) which seems to play well with Alexa (I find the Sonos app a bit flaky). Mos of the audio will be live radio or streamed from my audio collection that lives on a connected NAS drive. Also - nice to have - how feasible is it to put the sound from
i added an Era 100 to my system with 3 Play 1. How do i enable group audio to include the new Era 100?
Tried to buy a sub gen 3 last week but realized it does not work with my many of my older sonos products that I control by my S1 app. The only solution is to find an older sub, gen 2 or even 1. Anyone that can give a recommendation how to find that and where? I’d prefer a serious party and not taking the risk to buy unseen from a private person over the internet
Can I lay my sub mini on its side?
I’m attempting to repair my Play 5 Gen one and found the Mosfet TSC08N70 is dead, I cannot find it online to purchase or a .pdf for its specification to obtain a replacement or equivelent. Dose anyone have and equivalent part number or a pdf or where I can obtain one.Am I correct in thinking that its a 7 Amp 700v Mosfet?RegardsDavid..
We just finished a screened-in porch. Is it safe to mount a pair of ERA 100s near the ceiling of the porch? They will never get wet from rain, but they are exposed to temperature and humidity changes? Will they last out there?
I have 11 Sonos speakers around the house, all play flawlessly except for the 4 speakers making the home theatre setup (playbar, sub1, two 3s). The theatre setup plays perfectly while viewing the TV, the problem occurs when I listen to either radio or streaming music to the room. While doing this the music will cutout from a few seconds to about 30sec before continuing. If the home theatre setup is grouped to other rooms all speakers work fine except for the ones making up the home theatre setup. This is a new phenomenon to me. I think I’ve changed the Sonos channels, I’ve rebooted all appropriate software in more ways then one, nothing seems to work. All home theatre speakers are not wired in and can’t be done. There is one Sonos 1 wired into router at main box. What bugs me is that when watching TV there is no issues, it’s only when listening to music or radio.Diagnostic reports during event is 312130465 or 1098444261Thanks for any help on this
Hey all, I’m encountering an issue with my Sonos One that’s driving me crazy and I feel like I tried everything, including reading as many topics and solutions on this forum and what Sonos recommends, so I’m looking for help at this point. I have two ‘rooms’ setup:The main setup with an Arc, Sub, two rear Play:1s that’s working perfectly - we’ll call this the Arc group A solo Sonos One that we bought around 2018 and has been used for ambiental music, especially at night on Sonos Radio. Everything has been working perfectly until recently and we’ve been adding/upgrading Sonos products in our system since we started. However, recently (about 1 or so months ago), the Sonos One started behaving weird, stopping and then becoming inaccessible until we unplug and plug it back in. I’ll detail the setup, the problem and what I tried - if anyone has ideas, i’m open to suggestions. The setup:All speakers are on wireless network The network is served by a fairly high-end Asus router - this is
This is the subject of a few forums and many suggestions, but I haven’t been able to find a solution (including from Sonos Customer Support). In short, I have a network of Sonos One units for which I want to control individual unit volumes using percentage settings from Alexa. Standard Alexa only allows 10 volume increments, so using the Sonos skill does not work. The Sonos devices have a wide and very good range of volume and adjusting them effectively by 10% at a time is hopeless. For years I used Yonomi via Alexa, which used the Sonos API and that worked perfectly. Unfortunately, they went under. So I then subscribed to IFTTT, which also worked well … and then Alexa withdrew its support of IFTT.There are several solutions set up to use the Sonos API, but all the ones I have found require the setting up of a hub. I don’t want to have to have a PC or Raspberry PI device just to control my music system volumes! Is anyone aware of a hubless Alexa option? (Preferably free, but perhaps that’s
I am having trouble connecting a new SL One to my existing system -(a beam and two other SL ones)when I turn it on the app finds the new product and then emits the chime that tells me temporarily connected ti phone. However when the ‘connecting to your Sonos SL’ screen starts it just sits there with four dots flashing for about 15 mins. Eventually the LED light on speaker goes red but no error message appears on app. I was in contact with chat support yesterday but no solution found. Tried rebooting router etc. Anyone had similar problems? My existing system working fine
So I listen to some podcasts on Sonos - however, recently it starts playing my chosen podcast and then after a few seconds skips to another podcast and plays that one instead...why oh why?
My Sonos Five alarm no longer sounds in my bedroom, though it will play in another room on Sonos Arc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi allI’ve had the current set for a while now but recently I’ve experienced more connection issues than ever, despite no changes to my set up. These are especially bad when grouping pairs of speakers with other ones.I’m on BT smart Hub 2 and I have to use the BT disks to get wifi around the house.Although I know these are not recommended , as above, it seems to have got worse recently.I’ve been digging through my wifi app and can see that some of my products connect using the 5hz band and others on the 2.4hz.Will that make a difference with the grouping and is it possible to make them all use the same?; I’ve read on here that 2.4 is better at reducing interference. Many thanks in advanceDavid
I have 7 speakers and a Port, with two Play:1 stereo pairs. Sometimes one half of one of the pairs will fall out of sync when I’ve got all of them grouped. I read that it could be a communication issue and it might help to change the channel to 1, 6, or 11, but I have an eero router and it won’t allow me to change (or even see) channels. I’m curious what the diagnostic shows, and if there’s anything else I could try. The number is 833655845.
Hello,I read, in a Era 300 review, that Trueplay is not yet optimized for 2.0 or 2.1 configurations. Do you know if the problem has been resolved in the meantime? Thanks
Are any of the new speakers compatible to pair with the playbar soundbar?
Hey Sonos EVERY TIME I upgrade my speakers software the system stops working and I have to spend an hour getting it to work. I disabled automatic upgrades in the app but that results in you disabling certain features (truetune) until I upgrade and again waste an hour getting your system to work. Is this even legal ??? I am not the only one unhappy with this ham-fisted approach to software upgrades judging by several community posts. I tried different advices like static IP addresses but the issue persists. I paid good money for your speakers and I expected better from you. Let me control my speakers.
I cannot get my One SL to show in the app. I’ve followed the instructions a few times but after it joins my network I get a message saying it may not show in system and to unplug and finish set in the app. But I am not getting anywhere with this. Anyone got any tips?
