Have play 1 and 3 and move.move connects but not 1 or3
I’m having an issue where I have a group created but often the new app shows the source as trying to play music but I have my TV selected. The TV is playing through the ARC and Sub but when I try to have the TV Audio play through a grouping that includes the ERA100, ARC, and Sub no audio at all. It started after the app was updated.
No QuestionYou have betrayed the Sonos buyers. I have bought your products for years. I have promoted your speakers to my friends and family. My music collection on my Mac is my life. Sonos has denied me playing my music. I will now be getting rid of my Sonos system, and advising no one to buy Sonos. What is the point of a streaming system if you cannot connect to your home PC ????
Sono Arc avec 2 Sonos Era 300 et un sub.dès que j’utilise avec la TV, ou boîtier TV les deux Sonos Era saccade, ou lag. Ils sont positionnés à moi à de deux mettre de la box wifi (fibre). c’est insupportable ce problème car j’ai tous testé, y compris les mettres en 5Hz Moderator Edit: Google Translate- Sono Arc with 2 Sonos Era 300 and a sub.as soon as I use the two Sonos Era with the TV, or TV box, jerkiness, or lag. They are positioned next to me to put the wifi box (fiber). This problem is unbearable because I tested everything, including setting them to 5Hz
Hi I have a Sonos PLAY:5 Model S100 which is not found by my iPhone Sonos app despite many attempts. The Sonos speaker has worked earlier using my present router but, has stopped working. I have a fast internet connection and I am using a ASUS RT-AX57 router.I have done factory reset on Sonos speaker according to the instructions as well as restarting the router. I tried both a direct ethernet connection and wifi between router and speaker without success. My Asus router app shows the Sonos speaker as offline. Bluetooth is enabled and working on my Iphone. What is really odd is that Sonos app (latest version) succeeds in discovering the speaker in about 1 in 15 attempts. It proceeds through the chimes but, ends with the error message in the vain of 'the product can not be connected to your account' .What can I do?Best Regards John
I am experiencing multiple problems with my Sonos speakers. Randomly dropping out of system, volume not working or adjusting correctly, unable to show queue, usic shown as playing on mobile phone but nothing coming through speakers . Are these common issues and is there any solutions.
Was mache ich falsch? Über die Sonos-app wird immer nur nach Bluetooth gesucht, was natürlich nicht gefunden werden kann. Bitte um Hilfe!VG Guido Moderator edit:Google Translate- Since the Sonos player 5 doesn't have Bluetooth, I'm trying to connect it to my phone using the audio cable. I've also tried a Bluetooth adapter that has an audio plug. Unfortunately, neither of them works. What am I doing wrong? The Sonos app only searches for Bluetooth, which of course can't be found.”Are you able to choose “Line in” from the app when playing anything?
When I play at 80-100% of the volume level, sonos reduce the volume when the drops come. I don’t understand why and how can I deactivate this?
Just bought my first Sonos Ray , installed the app(s2) get to the part were Ray is to connect to my Bt hub but refuses as app needs updated. I have tried but app not updating, no connection it says. How do I get around this problem?Old man aged 68! Help,
Hey, I have 2x Sonos Play 1 speakers and 1x gen 1 Sonos sub that I had in a single room setup setup at my old house before I moved what worked fine.I recently moved location and obviously now have a new wifi network/connection that the speakers did not recognise so I factory reset all speakers back to stock and reconnected to a new Sonos account with a different email to the original setup.I’ve managed to connect one of the speakers to the new account and set it up as a room via wired internet to the router and it works fine ands plays music via spotify. Now the problem starts when I try to add additional speakers to this this setup. The Sonos app detects the additional factory reset play speaker and proceeds to communicate with it and then tells me i need to update the speaker. It proceeds to try and update the speaker and then instantly fails and gives me error code 1002.I’ve tried resetting the speaker and powering the wifi on or off with the basic troubleshooting but doesn't make any
I can no longer listen to “Lugna favoriter” on my Sonos.Radioplay is configured, but doesn’t work - and I can’t remove it and re-add it since the URL:s in the Sonos App is wrong. On Sonos homepage, the page titled “radio” - comes up empty? What do I try next?// Lazze
U just got a used play 5 gen 1, it’s only blinking white, am not able to reset and can connect to my WiFi. I have try connecting with the internet cable but there is no light blinking at the back of the player to indicate WiFi working. It’s this a software or hardware problem?
I returned my new Move 2. Epic fail. There should be a way to charge the company a nuance charge. Never again. You lost me( and in looks like hundreds of devoted customers) with the app and the ridiculous dropping of connection. Sticking with my 2 ONES. Will not be buying any more of your products. Good luck.
Ive had music from an outside source just start playing out of the blue through my home speakers randomly. Explicit rap, in another language mixed with english at 3am. And then again in some sort of turkish/eastern european music playing during a show I was watching. Both times I couldn't turn it off with the app or with remote. I had to unplug the speakers. I don't know if someone has hacked my account or my wifi. But I've changed passwords for both. Its happened 2 times since. Same types of music or similar. Not trying to profile the type, just keeping to the issue really. Just odd.
Thanks Sonos for making this super confusing!im going to ask my specific question since there is so much info out there on different situations and I can’t be clear as to what the right answer is unless I create my own.Is this possible: I would like to add an aftermarket older version Jen one play five speakers to play in my kitchen, same music new room. Already upgraded my current system to the new app app S2. I am seeing conflicting info on the Internet as to whether or not I can now play my new system with the old system.it seems as though I can, but I need to downgrade my app to the S1. I am hearing that this is not possible please confirm and let me know what is possible.current systemliving room =2x One SL (stereo pair) want to add2x play 5 gen1
Why is it every time there is an update I have to reset up my system again. I’m trying really hard not to cuss, but I am freaking furious. Coming home and having to reset this crap up. What a joke of a system
I have beam 2, sub mini, x2 era 100 as surrounds. Had them for about 2 weeks. The app still won’t let me setup trueplay, and is glitchy.have looked through lots of posts and it seems to be the updated app thats at fault.i have done all the usual many times now, updated the app, re set the app, re installed the app, re started iphone, re started/re installed all the speaker, re set all speakers, re boot wifi. Played sonos radio service instead of hdmi tv connection. I always get the same message, something went wrong please try again, then second stage of tuning, couldn’t detect speaker or something went wrong please try again. can’t believe I spent £1,200 on something you can’t setup properly…any help would be appreciated, or is it a case of sit and wait until sonos sort the bugs out in the app.should have got a Bose….but you live and learn..
All … basic Sonos app grouping question. So, app functionality seems to have broken since the update. Here is my setup. (3) Rooms. Room (1) Living Room with Sonos Arc, Sub, and Left/Right One SL surrounds. Room (2) Office1 with a single One SL. Room (3) Office2 with a single One SL. So, while streaming Pandora music from my Smart TV in the living room, all seems ok in Room (1). But, if I try to group in Office1 and Office2 to listen to the same music, everything goes silent and I lose control of where the Pandora output is pointed. The only way to remedy change the grouping to the Living Room, shutting off my TV and turning back on. In the past, I could easily add/remove rooms from the group and the music would stream perfectly fine. Thoughts on why this is? Do I need to re-set up all my room configurations since the app updates? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks all!
If my era 300 is attached to a Wi-Fi booster disc will it be running on Wi-Fi or Ethernet? I would have thought Ethernet but as the booster is not connected to the router via Ethernet I do wonder. It is one of the Bt booster discs.Colin
Hi all, I bought a second Era 100 today and tried to register it. Sadly no joy.The speaker appears in the app and connects to the internet. My Sonos app is up to date, have turned router and phone off/ on etc following advice on previous posts here. I have another Era 100 bought a few weeks ago. It registered first time and I’ve had no issues with it.One possible issue is our network: TP-Link Deco 9 mesh. I haven’t tried connecting the second speaker by Ethernet but could try that. All suggestions appreciated, thank you
Not sure how but the latest update (was away for a couple of weeks) has made my Sub and two Play:3 surrounds vanish. I can see that one of the Play:3s shows up on the network briefly (on 5GHz), then goes away. They are really not there - router says they are offline, SSDP fails for them. (The Sub and the P3s are bound to different Playbars).Things are getting pretty bad when even the Desktop app can’t find them (and also my app and any UPnP utility as well).I’m going to break out a long Ethernet cable for additional testing next. If that fails I guess I’ll reset them, but that just seems so very unnecessary.
I hava a Sonos Sub G1. I am using S1 controller as I still have several Play5 g1 speakers. However the speaker was bought 2nd hand and was earlier used with Sonos app. Have not been able to downgrade it to S1, what is the trick?
Since couple of weeks, my speakers (era 100 and Sonos One) keep disappearing in Sonos App (ios and ipad, did not try mac) and canoot be found in the app either. The only thing I managed is to unplug and plug it again, it will apprear in the app, but only for a short time. Later it will disappear again! And I cannot use airplay to play anything on Sonos speakers, as they dont show up in the list. I tried, as someone suggested, turn off “private wifi address”, but it did not help. What can I do? is it a bug introduced in the last update?
Speakers not Detected after latest update.
I have a 6 room Sonos system in a long single storey flat. The wireless was awful, so I have installed 3 Netgear wireless access points each connected by ethernet to the router. The signal keeps dropping out randomly, but particularly when my upstairs neighbours are in.I had a Sonos boost, but Sonos support have said this no longer supported, so I have removed it from the system.1. Can I still go to a wired Sonos system? 2.Should I connect a speaker in each room group to ethernet?
