Is Play:5 stereo pair with Sub Mini supported?

I have a stereo pair of Play:5 gen2 that I cannot add a minisub to it.  Is it supported?

According to this link, it should be supported: https://support.sonos.com/en-au/article/sonos-products-that-support-sub-mini

It does not specify if in stereo pair mode is supported.

The Sub mini pairs with 300, Five and One speakers with no problem.

Work Around:

I was able to pair the Sub Mini to the stereo pair by removing the stereo pair, add the Sub Mini to one of the Play:5 and then re-create the stereo pair. I create the stereo pair from the Play:5 paired to the Sub Mini.
