Speakers

Wonder if anyone can help out here.I am sending a signal from the Google Home speaker to a group of Sonos speakers via a Chromecast Audio going into the line-in of the Sonos Play:5 speaker. Since some time now the line-in signal would mysteriously disappearBoth Chromecast and Sonos claim the signal is going through but no audio is heard on the Sonos Play:5 speaker. If I reboot the Play:5, the signal returns back, but then it will disappear again after a week or two.I don't quite know what to do here and how to troubleshoot thisThoughts? .

I have 4 play 3s and a play one.  We recent upgraded our wireless system. Now the sonos only works when one speaker is on the wired network.  If I try to reconnect to wireless I get an error from the app. 

I recently upgraded some of my old Play:1 speakers to the New Play One and assumed that i could re-use my existing Flexson adjustable speaker Stands.  I was wrong.  New stands supplied by Flexson are universal and they will fit but i don't want to have to buy new stands.  Is anyone aware of anywhere of where i could just obtain the speaker holder/ base that fits to the top of the stem?  I have looked at the instructions for the old one and the new one and they look like they use the same fixing method to the top of the stem. So i believe this is all that is needed.   However i have spoken with Flexson support and they don't supply that bit.  Is any one aware of a solution that allows me to re-use my old stands or aware of any where i can get the speaker holder/base ?

Hi.Does anyone have sound issues with the new Sky Stream/Puck and Sonos Arc? I am experiencing the sound dropping for a split second on a regular basis. Sometimes it drops completely and is only resolved by either changing channel or going into standby.  

Hi. I have the Sonos amp powering two speakers for the TV. I also have the Arc and was wondering if there is way to play both simultaneously with TV or music. I have a Sonos sub as well and two Ones for surround. Thanks. 

I recently installed a pair of Sonos One speakers. They keep disconnecting. I spoke to Sonos tech support, who ran a diagnostic and said that the problem was that my two routers have similar names (one name is “…..”, and the other is “…..-5G”. He advised me to change the name of the router and/or call the internet service provider. This all seems more trouble than it’s worth for setting up two small speakers and will likely just return them and go with a different system, but wonder if there are any simple solutions. 

I am currently looking to purchase a Sonos 5 speaker for my turntable. I want it to stream most of the time, but I also want it to be ready to play records at a moment's notice without changing the setup. I know it can do both, but I’m not sure if I have to constantly go into the app and select/deselect the "line-in" option every time I switch from streaming to "line-in" and back again? It’s a bit of a deal breaker if it doesn’t know how to handle switching on its own, as I won’t be the only one using the speaker on a regular basis. A much less important question... As I plan for future upgrades, I’m wondering if you can pair a sub-mini to a five (or set of fives) and an Arc at the same time. Not to play at the same time, obviously, but could one sub switch back and forth between the set-up that is used for home theater and the other set-up that is used for playing vinyl?

I purchased a Sonos Beam and two One SLs last week. I noticed that the backlight is not illuminated on the volume up/down and play/pause buttons. I have verified on the Hardware>Touch Controls setting is enabled on all 3 speakers in the Sonos app (iphone). I have also checked that all speakers are up to date with the latest software and rebooted each speaker.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sonos Move won’t charge and orange light remains on constantly.  I am unable to turn off/reset either.Am I ok to remove battery whilst orange light remains on?

Is anyone else having issues with the system and upgrade tab on the website?   I keep getting blank screens and it never loads or http error 502.   This has been for two weeks.   Unfortunately no help from Sonos support.   I have followed troubleshooting for my end but feel it is on sonos end.

I have an Arc and a pair of Fives in the same room. I use the Arc for the TV and the Fives for music (the Arc and Fives aren’t paired with each other and i don’t use them at the same time for TV or music).Question: Could I pair the Sub Mini with the Arc so that I get the bass when watching TV and also pair with the Fives for listening to music?

Is SONOS working on a turntable that will connect to a SONOS Amp?  (A turntable not named Victrola)

I currently have two in ceiling architectural speakers connected to a Sonos Amp in our master bedroom.  I have a pre-wire for a speaker in master bathroom ceiling.  What are my options for connecting that speaker to the Sonos Amp?  is there a certain speaker I need to purchase?  Would prefer to have my master bedroom speakers as one left and one right if possible.  Thank you.

Recently purchased the Sub (Gen 3) and noticed that the plastic at the top of the sub seems to stick out on one side (most likely the serviceable side).  I checked the store display which did not have this issue and also got a second Sub (Gen 3) which had the side sticking farther out than the first one.  Just wondering if anyone else noticed this or has any info.  Thanks Community!!!!

If you wish to know why your Sonos sound system keeps losing connection with your BT hub 2 The answer is pretty simple? How do I know. I tried every single possible configuration in order to resolve, with no effect, until I began to replace everything.I decided to purchased brand new Sonos SL play speakers at great expense, as mine were a few years old. Guess what! I had exactly the same connection issues.I disabled the 5ghz Wi-Fi frequency on the original BT Hub 2 router and  consequently my Sonos speakers started working. Not exactly an ideal solution but still a bit flakeyI then bought a new unused BT hub 2 router on eBay. Updated the firmware to  v0.31.00.10253-BTOnce setup, everything worked perfectly. No wi-fi or Sonos issues. Even with the 5ghz band enabled no wi-fin issues whatsoever.Plugged in my old BT hub2 . Yep most things worked as normal, but Sonos again started to dropped out. Swapped back to the new hub and then all fine,I can only deduce that BT hubs have an inherent d

Sonos app 1 play 5 stops working after 20 - 30 seconds when I unplug it reconnect to the network and work again but stops all other speakersworking. I have to re locate the playlist and start again but it drops after another 30 seconds any Q? tks adv

Hello,a SonoS one has been stolen, is there a way to find where it is ,if connected to wi fi, and/or de activate it?

sub will not power up. plug is fully pushed in and in power socket that works. have not used sub for over 12 months as been away from this house.

I’m not able to Airplay to my TV Room (PlayBase/Sub/Surrounds). I can Airplay to Move and Ones (Garage). Did something change? 

Lost sub connection gen2

I’ve just bought a Sonos amp. I’ve wired my turntables via the mixer (as conventional  mixer amp) however when I play a record there is a full 3-4 second delay to hearing anything so mixing is definitely out! Any suggestions on how to play instant time?

What is the best way to totally destroy my Sonos Play 1 speaker. I am so tired of it losing connection to my wireless and losing connection to my Google assistant. Then the ap is terrible trying to get it reconnected. Good sound. But will sound better when I run it over with my car.

Does the One SL go to sleep when not in use?
