We primarily used Sonos to play our own very large music library, saved on our mac.  Last year, we suffered the same fate as everyone else, ie the music library was unavailable after the update.  There are no good tech people in our household, so alot of the workarounds are left to me to stumble through the suggestions online.  I tried some, to no avail. I have pretty much ignored the issue for the last year, but it’s been long enough that I’m hoping the problem has been fixed and that there is a semi-easy fix to get our music library playing again.  Googling the issue brings up thousands of threads from over the last 12+ months, but rather than reading a year of dialogue (alot of which clearly pre-dates any fix), i’m hoping someone can cut to the chase:  Did sonos fix this?  If they fixed it, can someone walk me through the fix on a mac? Music saved on the mac, not on an external harddrive.  Walk me through it like i’m five - don’t just say stuff like “then you need to save the flange

Two mobiles, two users, two Sonos App installations, one ERA 100. I have a Qobuz Duo account and would like one Qobuz user account on one mobile (iPhone) and mine (the ‘System Owner’) on the other (Android) Can’t seem to achieve this as the Sonos app only recognises one Qubuz account - am I missing something?

Would my Sonos beam gen 2 work good with one era 300 In my condo?

Hi everyone,I’ve extended my WiFi with a new node on a Starlink network. Since then 2 of my Sonos look online, are connected and show that they are playing but nothing is happening. As soon as I restart the node, they reconnect to the original WiFi antenna and start playing music normally.the new antenna works perfectly with other devices. any ideas?

Can I no longer buy Sonos products via your website to be delivered in New Zealand?

I see this is a topic that's been raised before. I have 2 different Era 100 speakers, neither of which play when I ask Alexa to play BBC Sounds. The voice assistant says it is playing but it doesnt. I have tried: Rebooting devices and routerDisconnecting and reconnecting BBC Sounds appDisconnecting and reconnecting Alexa Any suggestions gratefully received! Thanks.

Hi. Ive recently bought a sonos arc ultra and a pair of sonos era 100. I set them up, use true play and works amazing with hbo, netflix all in sorroud etc.  but the 2 era100 do not work when Im watching youtube or tv. I understand that youtube is not 5.1 but still i want to hear sound from behind my coach. Anybody know how to set it up? thanks

Our new home came with a Sonos system in the media room, which we love. We decided to go all in with the Sonos ecosystem and have bought several new products for our entire home since February of this year. The request/complaint is, why can’t we save the volume for these specific groups, or at least remember the last volume setting!? This is quite surprising, to put it mildly. Sonos does so many things well, and this feels like it should be a basic function for such a premium (cost and quality) sound system/ecosystem.I know I’m not the only one who feels this way!!

I have recently added a wiim ultra to my ecosystem. My use case is two fold; firstly I use it as a headphone amp for Spotify, my NAS library and my turntable, because Sonos inexplicably has no option to integrate headphones (even the ones they make)Second, for aforementioned turntable I use the wiim ultra to cast a flac stream via DLNA to my Sonos set up.It works great, I chose a target speaker in the Wiim app for the stream and then group the additional speakers.Except when I change the volume on the wiim it only affects the linked speakers, not the group. This means I have to use the Sonos app to control the group volume. Annoying I have spoken to Sonos support who didn't really want to discuss as they state this "is not a recommended set up" (despite the fact they have no alternative recommendation for my use case(s)).I have logged a feature request but thought I'd check here if I'm missing something or anyone has found a workaround...

When I open the Sonos S2 controller on ios (latest version, on iPhone16), it takes over a minute to find the speakers on my system. Quite often it then says it can’t connect when I attempt to select a different speaker. This problem started after the latest update to the controller app. It is not a network problem. If I open the controller on my Macbook, the speakers appear immediately and can be controlled as expected. Looks like this might be another example of Sonos breaking the app. Very frustrating. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and found a solution?

Hello SonosI placed an order with your good selves with a 40% discount code which you offered me for my next purchase my case number: [redacted] because the discount code did not work properly, you advised me to not accept the delivery which I have done, but it seems that it takes a hell of a time to get back to your warehouse to be re-scanned in to be re-issued with a refund and another 40% discount code which I'm still waiting for in this day and age it should not take 12 days and still no sign of a refund or discount code I've got the same situation with another company Ubiquiti  once they received the parcel the next day from myself the item was processed that day and back in the post the same day that is called professional conduct and an experience to receive What has gone wrong with Sonos processes? Moderator edit: removed and recorded case number.

Hi.  I know I can’t use a bluetooth cd player with the 4 Play:1 speakers that I have, but if I bought a Roam 2, could I group that with the 4 Play:1 speakers, and when the CD player is connected to the Roam 2 via Bluetooth, would it all play through the old Play:1 speakers too, as well as the new Roam 2?    (If so (out of interest!), 2 of the Play:1s are a stereo pair, would they still be a stereo pair or would they just all be a group playing the same thing?) It would be great to have our old CDs playing through the Sonos system. this way if it works!

Parametric eq is essentiel for an high end headphones in the market and would let a lot more choice for customers....Ldac support would be a great choice since aptx lossless is supported by 10 devices in the whole world, whereas ldac is a lot more common....

Ive tried multiple times but its not working. Every time i try to reauthorize it redirects me to Apple Music to sign in and after it redirects me back to sonos app to reauthorize again. I tried deleting apple music from sonos and reconnecting, also tried turning off my sonos product and checked for updates. Now im all out ideas and seem to figure it out, any suggestions?

My cat keeps stepping on the buttons at night and accidentally turning the speaker on. I know someone who covered the buttons with a plastic cap to stop it, but that looks clunky and isn’t really practical. It would be great if there were a true “off” option or a way to lock the controls when I don’t need them.

For reference - I have an original soundbar and sub (Gen2)I now have a turntable without a pre amp and advised to get a Gen1 connect (the white case one). i have noticed that there appears to be 2 models with the top button being different. One has a play/pause symbol and the other a mute speaker symbol. Is the a spec difference? If so whats the one i need?As a side issue should i only have the Sonos1 app to save any confusion? Thanks in AdvanceChris

Hi, I have two speakers: a Play:1 (wired to my router) and a Symfonisk Bookshelf (wireless). Both are on the same Sonos system and I can group them manually, but I want them to always play together by default, whether I start music from the Sonos app or the Spotify app on iPhone. I’ve tried looking for the “Group on Autoplay” or “Group with…” options in Settings, but I can’t find them in the current Sonos app. Can someone explain the exact steps in the latest app to make grouping persistent, or confirm if this feature has changed/been removed? Thanks!

Same or similar issue has been raised before but I could not find a solution that worked for me.I want to play tunes I have stored in My Library through my Sonos system.I subscribed to Apple Music (though all these tunes are downloaded from CDs I purchased), I added Apple Music to my Sonos list of music and content.I now see that some tracks (a lot) are greyed out and not playable through Sonos. They are playable through Apple Music.I do this through an iPhone.I was trying to resynch/reindex (?) Apple Music to Sonos as I recall having to do it when I first set it up but I cannot remember where to do that (if even this would help).I saw some info about Apple Music needing to recognize my tracks (if they don't have it in their catalog, then that might explain why it’s greyed out) but these are the tracks I am looking to play, these are “mine” if you will. Many thanks in advance

My old Sonos play 3 won’t connect to my WiFi anymore without a intranet cable, they work once connected but when I unplug they stop working, any advice?

I have two new Roam2 speakers that I would like to connect to my outdoor tv.  I have an existing system that I use inside with playbar, sub woofer, surround sound, and ceiling speakers.   I'm struggling on how to add the new speakers to the outside system.  If I use bluetooth, only one speaker can be connected at a time

Asking for my college-age son who has my hand me down Arc and a relatively low end Bluetooth turntable. I don’t think musical fidelity is the goal here, rather merely making the connection. My understanding is the least expensive option is to get a Roam speaker, which can connect via Bluetooth. What I haven’t been able to determine is if it is possible to connect the Roam (or ERA 100, 300, Move) to the Arc so that audio is playing from the Arc. Thanks in advance.

Hi, My playbar seems to have developed an issue with decoding audio coming in over the optical connection. Not constant, develops after about 30s of working fine, then stutters for 2-5 seconds every minute or so.  so far I’ve tried:changing all output settings from pass through/pcm.changed input settings through all of the options.have tested each possible combo of input/output.Swapped optical cableschanged to an external ARC to Optical converterremoved surrounds (they weren’t stuttering as it was only playing 2.0 audio, it’s all on the playbar, but others had suggested it as a fix) All of the above still resulted in regular stuttering. It reduced if I used PCM but did not disappear. I have tested the optical out with an old digital/analog decoder and had no problems, I have also plugged the arc into my Sonos amp and have no stuttering with that (that was previously plugged into the external arc/optical converter to verify that audio was clean)everything I’ve done points to an issue wi
