Hello, it’s me.  Sonos, not Sinis :-( I have an IoT network, my secure network routes to the IoT network but firewall rules prevent access from IoT network to secure net other than established or related.  Can I put Sonos on my IoT network and connect and use it from my secure network?  I was pretty sure I did that yesterday, moved Sonos to the IoT network from secure as I finally got firewall rules working the way I want and all seemed well, but today I went to add a new Sonos device and it said Sonos was on secure network.  So, I seem to remember Sonos didn’t like being on a connected routed segment?  Is that right or no?tanks.

So I have a strange one. I have added my remote control to my playbar by doing the remote control setup.it learns my remote volume and mute buttons successfully. In fact it successfully recognises my remote just by pressing volume up.Once setup is complete when I press volume up, it doesn’t work. No indicator light, nothing. Even through it successfully just learned the remote. Weirdly, volume down works fine.I have even used other random remotes and taught it random buttons for vol up, vol down and mute. And it accepts and learns them fine. But again, when I actually press the exact volume up button after successful completion it doesn’t work. Any ideas?

I have two sonance architechural outdoor 6.1 sets powered by 2 seperate sonos amps and have now added an outdoor tv. I would like to use both amps for the tv. It has an Arc hdmi out on the tv which I have spit to the two amps but I don't seem to be able to get sound. any ideas. tv is set to arc ou

Hi,All my music is stored in a NAS share (OurMusic). I manage this with Windows Media Player (WMP). SONOS has access to it via \\NAS01\OurMusic.Over the years I have created numerous playlists in WMP, some of which are still active, many have been deleted.  SONOS retains the name of every playlist I have ever created in its Imported Playlists list even those that have been deleted from WMP.  Qu.1 Why?In Windows Explorer, This PC > Network locations I can see x.x.x.167 Sonos Play:1; x.x.x.185 Sonos Play:1; x.x.x.220 Sonos Playbar. When I browse these locations I see e.g. Sonos Play:1>Attributes>Playlists, that contains a Folder for each and every playlist I have ever created in WMP. But every folder is empty!  Qu.2 Can I delete the extinct playlists from each of the 3 locations (speakers)?Qu.3 How do I get SONOS’s Imported playlists list to agree with the current playlist list in WMP?Sorry for rabbiting on, would very much like to hear any comments.Thanks for reading.

Hello, I enter the Sonos page and, although they say that from May 2, when I try to pay with PayPal it tells me that PayPal cannot be used if there is a lack of stock. This seems incongruous. I am quite disappointed because I was determined to take advantage of 30% to renew my playbar and play1 for the Arc ultra system and it was 300, but I find it impossible to buy it. When will there be stocks of era 300 in Spain? Greetings.

I have just gotten a Sonos, and I am trying to add the content services now. I added Spotify successfully but DR lyd is failing repeatedly. I have entered my location in Denmark so it should be possible, but every time i try to connect to it gives me message saying “something failed, try again” without much explanation as to why.I have tried reinstalling both the Sonos ans DR lyd app, changing my DR lyd password, but nothing has worked so far. Any ideas?  

I have been trying for some time now different hdmi cables (including the stock cable that came with arc ultra), system options in horizon ultra proyector and sonos app, I own an arc ultra and sub4. So far this xgimi projector model is supposed to support Atmos in its eArc output but no luck yet. Is there anyone in community who could confirm my suspicion or possibly share some feedback on how to make this setup deliver Atmos? Thanks a lot.

I use a Roam 2 stereo pair over Bluetooth as bedroom TV speakers. Works fine, *except*: if you pause the TV, then (a little later) unpause, it takes about 5-8 seconds before it plays an audio - before that: silence. It also does this when turning the TV on, but that's less annoying. Is there any way of disabling whatever sleep mode this is?

I often listen to podcasts on Sonos, and have done so for years without problems. However, two things happened that have led to enormous frustration in my ability to continue to do this. First, I used to listen to podcasts using Stitcher, was has now been discontinued. Second, Sonos updated their app, and as we all know, nothing has been the same since.I have tried Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts, and Spotify, and each present problems. Because there is no direct link between Apple Podcasts and Sonos, I listen to Apple Podcasts through AirPlay on my Sonos Move and Roam speakers. However, it often drops the connection of one or more speakers, it’s difficult to connect to my other Sonos speakers, the volume control is even worse than when playing directly through the Sonos app, etc. I’ve asked Sonos support for help, but as of today, none of the problems have been resolved.I have also tried Pocket Casts and Spotify. Just reporting a bug really and doing it here as support chat has been impossible to get hold of.Recently upgraded to Asus BT10 wifi 7 mesh system. All my other devices connected fine (including the ancient stuff like nest thermostats, ring doorbells, my 14year old printer etc...) with the exception of my Sonos gearArc, Sub3, symfonisks bookshelves - none of it would connect.Trying to manually reset the network settings and ultimately factory reset didn’t work, it simply wouldn’t connect to the wifi network.Ultimately I found that disabling ‘Wifi 7 Mode’ within the router settings allowed everything to connect back up.  Wifi 7 mode is backwards compatible with older devices, as proven by everything else in my hose connecting to it fine, just evidently not for sonos,  they will not connect whatsoever to an Asus wifi 7 router if Wifi 7 mode is enabled.Hopefully this can make its way to the engineers and they can push out a firmware update for these devices to work fine on a wifi 7 enable

I moved to a new house which has 2 ceiling speakers with speaker wires already available. I have the Sonos connect s2 with only one set of RCA audio out connection. Two questionsHow to I connect the speaker wires(red black for one speaker and white green for another) to the RCA out on Sonos connect? Should I buy the RCA to speaker wire adapter on Amazon?Can I connect bothe speakers to the same s2? Will it have enough power to support 2 speakers? Connect both positives and negatives and plut into the same RCA?  

I just purchased the speaker Sonos Era 300 and I tried to connected with my Sony TV ( on parallel with the TV’s speakers) without result. It looks like that I have to choose if I want to play from TV’s speakers or from ERA 300 via bluetooth.I would like to ask what could be the possible options to connect and play on parallel with the TV’s speakers.Is the only option to purchase a Sonos soundbar, connected with the TV with HDMI and then from the application of Sonos configure as a multi speaker? 

I have Arc + sub conntected to the TV e-arc. (for both streaming music and tv) I have a One SL in the kitchen. I have the devices grouped. Right now i have TV auto play on and Ungroup on Autoplay turned on. I’d like for music (streaming sonos or spotify) to play on both devices, but when i switch to watch something on the TV only, I just want the TV to play through the Arc only and stop all kitchen audio.If i have music playing through the group, then when i want to turn on the TV - the arc will play the TV audio, but the kitchen SL will continue to playing the music.If i turn ungroup off, the TV will play both in kitchen will play the TV audio, which is not desired. How do i get the kitchen SL to stop when the TV comes on?I understand its probably working the way its intended, but is there anyway i can set this up to do so automatically for music, tv, through zones, or rooms, vs groups, etc without having to pull out the app?

Added a beam 2 to my Sony a80j. Connected using supplied hdmi cable via eARC output.  Immediately had annoying audio sync issues. Have restarted everything (tv, soundbar, cable box) multiple times with no difference. Have played with audio settings on tv to no effect.  Problems are only when watching cable tv (Arris TiVo box). Streaming apps on tv seem to work fine. Can sometimes fix cable issues with Dialogue Sync on Sonos app but it’s never perfect and issues vary by channel. Plus have to adjust sync on app every time I switch to streaming.  After several weeks of this I am very close to removing the beam altogether and accepting it is a complete waste of money. I’ve tried all settings on tv but is there an agreed upon best set of settings? Is there anything I can change in the cable box settings?
