I keep on getting an error message looking for network every time I log on to Sonos
I have upgraded all my Sonos speakers to 300 and 100s I am running are  a ubiquiti System from a virgin media set in mode mode running through my own router through a POE switch then to my 3 APU all the speakers are Wi-Fi  the message reads your system cannot be found on network update network  So then you’ve got to keep on repeating and putting in the speakers very annoying

so please can someone help me if you have had this problem yourself?

There are topics here on Ubiquity settings to work well with Sonos, the search should find them.

Hello,

Here no Teamviewer is required. Its just a follow up question raised by Sonos team asking whether the UAP (UniFi Access points) are working in AP mode or not.

There’s no need for a remote session at this point, as the UniFi Access Points are already operating in their standard mode — Access Point mode — which is their only supported mode. They function solely to provide wireless connectivity to client devices and do not manage DHCP directly.

Regarding DHCP behavior, the renewal request is automatically triggered by the client at approximately 50% of the lease duration. The APs themselves do not interfere with this process.

From the UniFi system side, everything appears to be working as expected. If you're encountering issues specifically with Sonos devices or connectivity, we kindly recommend reaching out to the Sonos support team for further assistance.

In the meantime, you can verify basic network connectivity by running a continuous ping test from a client device connected to the same network segment.

Do you have any VLANs configured?

Do you have Sonos on it own VLAN?

Do you have a VPN running?

If you have Sonos on it own VLAN, I suggest moving them to your main VLAN. If you have a VPN running, you will need to disable it when using Sonos. Check out the “unsupported “ section here;

Hello gentlemen, thank you for your responses. This is what I found out as well eventually going through Sonos as well.  The settings must be off or look exactly the same in the ubiquity system

The only thing I have problems with with my last screenshot I get the warning triangles on the system and cannot seem to find how to stop this from happening. The only way is to a manufacturers reset which is very frustrating. Any ideas on this please?

Try assigning static/reserved ip addresses to all Sonos. Then power down everything and bring it back up to clear any old data.

By signing static IP addresses has not got rid of the warning triangles they reappear on the system according to Sonos and reading between the lines it is a software problem that the speakers keep on dropping out communication with each other. I have a technical call this Friday, hopefully to update more on this soon.
