new node on my wifi

Hi everyone,

I’ve extended my WiFi with a new node on a Starlink network. Since then 2 of my Sonos look online, are connected and show that they are playing but nothing is happening. As soon as I restart the node, they reconnect to the original WiFi antenna and start playing music normally.

the new antenna works perfectly with other devices.

any ideas?

WiFi extenders are officially NOT supported by Sonos.

Can you post a link of what exactly your new “node” is?

It’s an extender by Starlink. They call them router mini or mesh node.

just plug it in and it boosts the signal in other parts of the home.

Didn't find anything in Sonos Support, try here if nobody has a better idea.

Hmm, I looked it up, hard to say if the node is the problem.

I have a Starlink Mini and its wifi strength is pathetic - I use a real Uni mesh system daisy chained to it. This also lets me trivially switch between fiber and Starlink (the latter is my backup system).
