We've installed hundreds of Sonos Ports, used as both an input, output, or both.Today at a customers we had the following occurrence when adding a Port (to their existing system) which is completely different to what we've experienced before.System:Living room - Amp Snug - Arc, Amp, Sub Kitchen - Amp (New zone) Streamer - Port with turntable as an input Sonos port added, updated, configured & turntable plugged in correctly. If you wanted to listen to the turntable in the living room; you'd select Living Room as the zone, then select line in > Streamer - Turntable as the source, but when selecting this, the source wouldn't change.Sonos support said that the Port zone has to be grouped with the zone where you want the line in source playing. We're pretty sure that was never the case but further testing proved it to be the only way it would work on this system.  Any thoughts?

Hi All,Woke this morning to find that if I search an Artist and go to choose them from Qobuz, I get 'No selections are available' - this only affects the search. I can choose Qobuz from my services & all my favourites are there and play perfectly. This only affects Qobuz, Spotify etc show results as usual.Have rebooted the router, no change. Re authorised Qobuz, still no difference. Any ideas? I'm still running S2 16.1 (no intention of updating currently)

I am very disappointed by the long lasting ´alarm issue ´ and I’m sure not the only one.  What do you suggest ? BR,A tiny client of Sonos…

This is my last try to get my Sonos working,I got my Sonos many years ago when it was quite new. However it stopped working when i carried it over to a new outlet. Many reset, and hard reset try’s using the mute (and volume up)(also disconnecting the outlet en starting the process then plugging it in) I gave up.About a year later gave it another shot and miraculously turned on. Used it for about 6 moths and now got the same problem after reconnecting the outlet. I still have hope because it worked before after a while with the same problem. Is it a repairable issue? software? I hope someone has answers.

Anyone having issues with Qobuz in the UK on the S1 app? Every time you select an artist catalogues don't appear. Seems to have been like this for a week or so. You can view under albums but it's a pain as you don't just get that artist.

Hi allI was wondering if someone can help. I'm considering buying the official sonos stand for my Era 300 and need to know the distance from the back of the Era 300 to the back of the stand base. The reason why is because I have my sonos stands against the back wall and want to know the distance of the back of the era 300 ro the wall. Thanks so much for your help

Long thread on Reddit here Tl;drAffects iOS and Android, ie OS agnostic Affects variety of iPhones and Android devices ie device agnostic Affects multiple combinations of Sonos devices and firmware Affects multiple routers Steps to reproduce Use Spotify connect on Spotify app Actual behaviour The Spotify app thinks it's successfully connected to a Sonos speaker. The Spotify app thinks it's playing. No sound comes from the speaker. The Sonos app doesn't think anything is playing to the speaker, and doesn't show the Spotify connection (it'll either show the last thing the Sonos app thinks was playing on that speaker, or "No content"). Temporary workarounds include removing Spotify account from device and re-adding it, reauthenticating Spotify account from Sonos app, starting to play music via Spotify on Sonos app and then opening Spotify app. The problem always recurs, unsure exactly how quickly after.  Can a ticket be opened for this pretty please? ps For me at le

I updated my Lenovo laptop to Windows 11, and now Sonos won’t connect. I have Sonos One. I did all the suggested steps (turning wifi off/on, restarting laptop, unplugging router/plugging back in, powering down Sonos speakers/powering back up), but no luck. Sonos is an allowed app through my Avast firewall.I have repeated the above steps several times. Any ideas? Thank you.

Suis-je obligé de passer par un ampli ?Merci =) Moderator Edit - Translation by Google:Hello,I was just given a Sony PS LX310BT turntable (jack output and Bluetooth) and I currently have four older-generation Sonos One speakers.I don't know how to connect the turntable and the Sonos system, which I've already set up.Do I have to use an amplifier? Thanks =)

Hi, Google assistant worked fine till now. I tried to re connect it, it will not connect. Tried restart, unlink and link again Sonos via "works with Google". Here's a screenshot.

Hi folks,I have a project turntable (no pre amp) connected to a Cyrus 1 hifi amp. With traditional wired speakers it works great but how do I connect 2 paired era 300’s. I have the Sonos connector cable from one speaker but where do I connect it to the amp? Thank you

I just got a complete system arc ultra sub 4 and era 300.  Was playing around with it and I got the same sound from my sound bar   As my rear era 300. And it sounded fantastic  then I must of hit a wrong button in the app and everything went dead no sound.  Got it back working but on my era 300 alls I get is the surround sound now question is how do I get back the same sound out of my arc ultra as my era 300s at the same time

I have a 3 year old Ray which has been flawless until now. It’s started making a buzzing noise when a high pitch sound is played. We play a game where wolves howl and every time they do, it happens. Sounds like vibration. Is there anything I can do to remedy it, without having to send it off? It hasn’t been dropped/knocked. It’s been properly looked after. The issues happens when the volume is high or low but only when that certain high pitch ‘howl’ is played.  Thanks in advance

Has Google Assistant been added ? Otherwise I need to return this soundbar. In fact I might just decide to switch to a different ecosystem.

Vorrei sapere se il giradischi Sony PS-LX310BT  é compatibile con Playbase S2.grazie Moderator Edit: Translation by Google Translate - I would like to know if the Sony PS-LX310BT turntable is compatible with the Playbase S2.Thank you.

This has been posted about many times.  Sonos claimed a year ago that this was fixed, but also posted that it wasn’t a bug, but a feature, requiring us to manually change tags in every compilation album. I guess that means I should give up on this “feature” ever being fixed and, per recommendations, I downloaded mp3tag.  Changing album artist to various artists worked for the three albums I tried.  So my questions is, for those who know tagging and mp3tag better than I, should I just go to the “compilations” folder in itunes and select all songs on that tag and make that same change, rather than going albuum by album?  Seems that would work but I hesitate to make such changes, since they’d be, I assume, impossible to undo if it messed things up.  Thank you.

Hello, over the last month, the AirPlay group keeps ungrouping after every session when streaming from Pandora on my iPhone. I recently updated to IOS 26 so it may be related to this update or a recent Sonos update. Sounds like this is a known issue? Is there a fix (and not referring to restarting and unplugging the system - already done that).

For about a week my Sonos morning alarm on my One SL speaker between 5 & 6 am fails. When I’m awake I can see in the Sonos app that ‘connection to Spotify was lost’ for each song it attempts to play. I have to go to the Spotify app to play a song first and then I can go back to Sonos to play music from Spotify (either directly or via an alarm again). Every morning same issue - it’s like the backend connection between Sonos and Spotify gets reset or ‘lost’ during the night. My home network is optimal and the speaker has a -59 dBm internet connection - so very good. This just started out of the blue in the past week

Can someone help me? I have a system consisting of Sonos S1 speakers and the latest version of the app that I use on an iPhone. How do I add a family member so they can manage the same system independently? Thanks.

I have an Amp, Beam, Sub mini and two Roam SL speakers. I am using sonos app on apple mobile with IOS 26.1 and the latest version of sonos app. I can only connect to the Amp via ethernet and cannot detect the rest Beam, Sub mini and two Roam SL. After powering off all devices and rebooting my router, I was able to connect to each speaker and add to the wifi network. But when trying to “Add speakers or Components”, the application does not find any of the speakers (Beam, Sub mini and two Roam SL).Any suggestions ?

Anyone notice difference from 10/8/25 update for Arc Ultra, Era 300s, and Sub 4?Only asking since the patch notes are incredibly cryptic in what changed or attempted to improve. Very disappointing Sonos chooses the mystery approach.

Hello,I have a TV model LG-55LA620V, Google TV Streamer and Sonos Arc Soundbar with 2x Sonos Play:1(surround) added. The problem is that I can't get Dolby Atmos sound to work, only dolby digital 5.1. The cables are HDMI 2.1 and connected as follows: - Google TV streamer -> Tv HDMI 3 (MHL) - TV HDMI 1 (ARC) - Sonos Arc soundbar. What should I do to get Dolby Atmos sound?

How do I get a new members playlist on the Deezer app onto my Sonos playlists.I can't seem to access the playlist on Sonos

How to switch between systems in Sonos app? Every time I try to use the app to control volume after using one system, it mutes or disconnects the arc. I have to unplug the arc and then it works again. There has to be a better smoother way of doing this - using the app for two different systems on same network.

Sonos app stops after song and doesn’t go to next. This happens irrespective of streaming service or location (e.g. if i use on a separate system). Using airplay (eg. Spotify connect) works fine. How do i fix this?
